A Hogwarts Professor of Magical Writings Chapter 305: Parseltongue and the Locket

"The Easter holiday ends tomorrow, and it will be the weekend in two days. How about setting it on that day?" Felix suggested.

"Why not tonight? You and me, let's do it together." Sirius said impatiently.

"If that place is Voldemort's secret treasure hiding place, will he let us leave comfortably?" Felix asked him back, especially since Felix was basically sure that it was the place where Voldemort placed the Horcruxes. It's always right to be cautious.

"Sirius, I need to make some preparations, and so do you. You look a little impatient now."

"You're right, Felix." Sirius said finally.

Felix smiled slightly, "Let's go, Harry is waiting for us."

The two walked into the fireplace one after the other.

In the old Black house.

Harry looked at this scary old house elf curiously. He couldn't help but compare him with Dobby. Although their appearance and clothes were completely different, their temperaments were surprisingly consistent. They both looked like the butlers he saw in the Muggle TV series.

Dobby's butler temperament was more obvious, because he had a small suit compared to the house-elf in front of him.

"Hello, what's your name?" Harry greeted him in a friendly manner.

Kreacher pouted and muttered something, but Harry didn't hear it clearly. He straightened the white and clean cloth on his body, bowed respectfully and said, "You can call me Kreacher, distinguished guest, welcome to the Black family mansion." Harry

was a little shy, he was not used to the welcome words of the house-elf: "I'm actually, ahem, wait, Black family mansion? Is this Sirius's home?"

"Yes," Kreacher said, "The young master was born and raised here. Although he ran away from home when he was young and ignorant..." He showed a cunning look, "but when he encountered danger, he still thought of this place first."

Harry asked for details with great interest. He wanted to know more about his godfather. When he learned that Harry was Sirius' godson, Kreacher's attitude became more respectful and he was willing to tell more secrets.

"Master has been crying these days, Kreacher has heard it, but Master refuses to admit it..."

"Kreacher! Shut up!" The fireplace flickered again, and Sirius came out. As soon as he came in, he heard Kreacher slandering him, and his nose was almost crooked with anger. He strode over, picked up Kreacher from the ground, and said loudly: "Don't mention it to anyone again."

Kreacher said respectfully: "But Mr. Potter is the master's godson. As your heir, he has the right to know..."

"I said, no!" Sirius' lips trembled, "Go make tea."

"As you command." Kreacher's figure flickered and disappeared.

Felix watched for a long time, and a smile flashed in his eyes, "So, your relationship has improved?"

"Which eye did you see it? He is still so annoying..." Sirius muttered.

Harry blinked, he thought he should tell Ron what he saw. Ron always thought that house elves were servants of nobles and only knew how to obey orders, but the two elves Dobby and Kreacher he met had their own personalities.

They came to the living room. It was Harry's first time here. He was curious about everything here and had an inexplicable liking for it. Although the house was a little dark, maybe it was because the lights were not turned on? After all, it was night time now. Sirius lived alone, so there was no need to waste so much...

The air was a little damp and had a musty smell. It was nothing. Just clean it up. Harry felt that he could help.

Coming to the living room, it was a little brighter. The candles on the wall were burning quietly. There was an exquisite golden chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Harry suspected that it was made of pure gold.

"Do whatever you want. The house is a little messy." Sirius put away the scattered comic books and piled them aside. He stood there for a while, "Oh, by the way, I'll go get something." Sirius

left. There was a creaking sound of stepping on wooden boards in the distance. Soon his figure appeared again, and when he came back, he brought a heavy gold locket.

Kreacher brought hot tea in time and stood at the door.

"This is it... Master Regulus gave it to Kreacher and asked him to destroy it. But there were so many magics on the box, poor Kreacher tried everything, but couldn't leave any trace..."

"Kreacher guessed that it should be opened from the inside, but I can't do it."

Harry looked at Kreacher crying sadly, and was worried that he would suddenly jump up and punish himself in the next second. But in a second, he thought about it. Open it from the inside? He vaguely figured out something.

Felix moved closer and looked at the locket carefully. It looked very clean. It should have been cleaned by Sirius. There was a gorgeous S-shaped snake embedded on the surface, which was made up of many small emeralds and emitted a faint light.

"The letter S. A snake?"

Felix and Harry said at the same time. They looked at each other and Felix laughed. "We are both right." He stretched out his index finger and tapped the gold locket. His perspective began to change. The color seemed to be washed away by the rain and turned gray. In his sight was the dazzling magic light, layer upon layer, densely packed. In the innermost layer of these protective magics, there was a group of extremely evil dark forces, which was wriggling like a monster.

It was a Horcrux, and... Felix found that this Horcrux was more active than any he had seen before, as if it would jump out in the next second.

Felix thought, it seems that Voldemort arranged each Horcrux differently. The diary Horcrux was also active, but it was the memory of the young Voldemort hidden in it that was active, not the soul fragments inside.

As for the crown, it was even more secretive. He didn't see any flaws at all. Combined with the characteristics of the Ravenclaw crown itself, perhaps this was part of the trick to let the person who got the crown fall silently.

Sirius stared at Felix and Harry, and they suddenly fell silent. "What did you see?"

"If I'm not mistaken, this should be Salazar Slytherin's locket, used by Voldemort..." Felix stopped talking, the locket trembled slightly, and seemed anxious.

"I've never seen it like this." Sirius stood up in doubt, pulled Harry aside, and stared at it vigilantly. The gold chain tied to the locket twisted wildly, as if trying to strangle one of them.

"Sirius, Professor..." Harry swallowed hard, "I want to do something."

"What are you talking about, Harry?" Sirius asked. He was worried that Harry was affected by the locket and was looking at his godson worriedly: "Do you feel uncomfortable?"

"No, no," Harry was also surprised by the sudden idea, "It's Parseltongue, I want to speak in Parseltongue!" Sirius looked at Harry blankly. He had no idea that Harry had this ability.

"Just do it, let's see what changes." Felix said calmly.

So Harry stared at the locket and imagined the pattern on it as a small snake. It was easy, especially since the locket was still "buzzing" and making a sound. He opened his mouth and made a "hissing" sound.

Felix was not unfamiliar with this word. He had heard it several times in the Chamber of Secrets last year. It should mean

"open." Harry said in Parseltongue.
