A Professor of Magical Writings at Hogwarts Chapter 116: The Dwarf

Felix came back to his senses.

"Oh, I've thought too deeply." He just thought of the mobile phones of the future from the twins' idea, so he put some of his mind into the thinking room to deduce it.

He can completely solve this kind of "text message"-like function. There are so many alchemy books in the library.

But if he wants to achieve more complex functions, it will not be easy to do.

After all, wizards hundreds and thousands of years ago did not have such a big imagination. There were too many things that he needed to study and implement independently.

But... why bother? Why should he do it all by himself?

He stared at the twins. If he had only regarded the two as potential little wizards in the past, now his idea is, how to train them so as not to waste their talents?

Maybe he can see magic mobile phones popular in the future?

Felix has always been a very purposeful person, but he does not refuse to make the magic world better.

Especially when it does not require too much effort.

He said to the twins, "Of course I can tell you the answer directly, or even complete your ideas directly, but I hope to cultivate your abilities."

Felix took out a piece of parchment, and wrote down a series of book titles and marked the page numbers.

"This is a reference book list, which contains everything you want - two of them are stored in the restricted book area, and I will give you another note."

"Thank you very much, Professor Hepp." The twins said exaggeratedly. Seeing their excitement, it seemed that they would rush up to hug him in the next second.

Felix waved his hand quickly -

"Also, regarding materials, you can consider the material used for the wand body."

"Professor, do you have any recommendations?"

"From a personal sense, I like ebony, like black jade." Felix showed them the wand in his hand, "However, reason tells me that it is better to choose chestnut. Its nature is very mild and has no specific tendency."

The twins left happily.

After the second class in the afternoon, Felix went straight to the auditorium. On the way, he saw a group of young wizards gathered together. In the middle of the crowd stood Professor McGonagall, her lips tightly pressed together, her expression quite serious.

Which young wizard has caused trouble again?

When Felix approached, he noticed that there were three creatures in front of Professor McGonagall. They were so short that they were covered by the young wizards. They

were dwarfs, which Felix found very novel.

They had dark green skin, were usually no more than one meter tall, and had rough and fierce faces. Even when they were expressionless, they were gloomy.

Seeing the dwarfs, Felix thought of a person - Faris Spaven, the former Minister of Magic who set two records: one was that he ascended the throne of Minister of Magic at the age of 109, and the other was that he had been in power for 38 years.

Almost a hundred years have passed since him, but these two records have not been broken so far.

One of his strange behaviors was that when he delivered a speech at the "Wizards and Friendship Conference", he told a vulgar joke about "centaurs, ghosts and dwarves walking into a bar", which aroused the dissatisfaction of the centaurs and failed to assassinate him.

...

Felix stood outside the circle. The dwarf with the gloomiest face was arguing with Professor McGonagall. He seemed to be the leader among them. He was carrying a dirty bag on his back and talking with his hands and feet.

"Madam, we have received an invitation, you can't cancel it!"

Professor McGonagall said impatiently: "I have said it for the third time. It was Lockhart who invited you, but he is about to be tried by the Wizengamot."

"But...but...we have many talents. Let me show you."

The dwarf opened the tattered bag behind him, took out a pair of golden wings from it and put them on his back, and picked up a small harp.

The other two dwarves beat the rhythm with gloomy faces and made stiff dance moves.

Then, the young wizards were surprised to see a gloomy "little cupid" wearing golden wings and carrying a harp, singing loudly -

"Ali La La~"

"We are the messengers of love~"

"Kicking other people's calves all the way, working hard~"

"Delivering the confession of love~"

Felix suddenly froze. He stared at the three dwarfs blankly, and his hair couldn't help but stand up.

The other young wizards felt almost the same. Harry's face seemed to be cramping, and Ron grinned and leaned back desperately.

Hermione listened expressionlessly, but her lips were tightly pursed, and she looked 70% similar to Professor McGonagall.

Harry silently said in his heart that if someone sent this guy to confess to him, he would definitely be so ashamed that he turned into steam and disappeared on the spot.

After singing the embarrassing part, the dwarf stopped. During this process, Professor McGonagall's lips were trembling, "You...you..."

"Madam, we are professionals. I can also compose a dance on the spot, singing and dancing..." The dwarf's face twisted left and right, as if looking for a target. Wherever his eyes fell, there was a clear space

in that direction. Finally, the dwarf's eyes kept moving between Harry and Felix.

Felix's heart tightened. Few people could make him feel nervous, but the dwarf in front of him undoubtedly did it.

He strode out, and the wand in his hand silently cast a silent spell - "Silent, silent."

The dwarf opened his mouth, but no sound came out. He touched his throat in panic.

"Professor McGonagall, what happened?"

McGonagall said helplessly, "Gilderoy Lockhart prepared a special program for Valentine's Day - the dwarfs dressed up as cupids to express their students' love on Valentine's Day."

"..." Felix said, "He really thinks long-term. It's been almost half a month since he was arrested."

Professor McGonagall said, "In fact, he booked it in advance a month ago. According to them," she snorted at the dwarf, "they are very popular."

She cleared her throat and said to the dwarf, "You didn't sign a cooperation agreement with Hogwarts, so, I regretfully--" Professor McGonagall was speechless.

Several dwarfs were in tears. It was a strange scene - they cried silently with serious and gloomy faces, which made the surrounding little wizards feel very complicated. They didn't know whether to laugh or sympathize.

"We are willing to give a discount..." said the leading dwarf. "It's too difficult. Our team won't be able to eat."

Finally, Professor McGonagall took them away, and this problem was left to Dumbledore to worry about.

Not long after, the latest news came -

Dumbledore agreed to the dwarf group to perform at the Valentine's Day party, but refused their free job of delivering love letters and reading confessions to students.

In the common room, a senior student gave more accurate information: "It is said that Dumbledore did this to welcome the professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts who took office that day."
