Felix stayed in the office until noon, then went to the hall to eat hungry.
He did not sit in the teacher's seat, but randomly chose a long table of students. Several young wizards were discussing what happened in the morning not far away.
"In just one morning, Peeves attacked Slytherin students in the hall, knocked down statues in the corridor, smeared mud on armor, and wrote on the ceiling..." A student counted Peeves' crimes on his fingers.
"I think he must have spent the whole day yesterday thinking about how to celebrate, so he was so efficient today."
Felix listened to the side. At this time, several Slytherin students walked in with angry faces. Their angry shouting made him hear clearly from seven or eight seats away.
"...It's too much. They actually ran to the common room to make trouble! Be sure to tell Professor Snape..."
Their voices gradually faded away.
Felix walked out of the hall and planned to visit Belby, but the door of his office was locked.
When he was about to leave, he saw Belby's tall and thin figure in front of him. He looked very happy.
"Damocles."
"Oh, Felix, are you looking for me? I went to Professor Snape's office. The improvement of the wolfsbane potion is progressing well..." Belby said enthusiastically.
The two exchanged a few pleasantries, and Belby suggested, "Why don't we go for a drink?"
Felix readily agreed.
"Please wait, I still need to clean up..." Belby said vaguely, and the two walked into the Defense Against the Dark Arts class office, which was very different from when Lockhart was there.
On the contrary, it was somewhat similar to Snape's office. There were several large cabinets against the wall, each of which was filled with various bottles and jars; on a long table, there was a row of glasses and crucibles.
One of the crucibles was boiling a potion, with an orange flame underneath it and hot steam emanating from the pot.
Felix took a look and saw a creamy substance in the crucible, but the color was an unpleasant dark green.
"Is this some kind of ointment?"
"Yes, it works wonders on the big boils caused by the pimple curse. I have discussed this with Madam Pomfrey. My God, she is simply a treasure trove, and knows all kinds of potions for minor injuries and illnesses."
Felix agreed, "I agree with you very much, Damocles." He discovered this when he was in school.
Belby lifted a curtain in the corner, and inside were two metal cages. Two red hats were sleeping quietly.
But when he took out two thumb-sized glass bottles, they opened their eyes all of a sudden, chirping, and their two claws were clinging to the bars of the cage.
Felix could actually read the emotion of "longing" from their skinny faces.
Belby uttered an interjection, and the red hats immediately quieted down, put their heads on the edge of the cage, and opened their mouths.
He poured the bright red liquid in the glass bottle into their mouths. The red hats looked intoxicated, and their bodies swayed, as if they were drunk.
Then, Belby covered the curtain and came to Felix again. He stuffed two green leaves into the crucible, tapped the edge of the crucible twice with his wand, and the dark green thing began to spin.
"Okay, it's solved. Let's go." Belby said.
When they came to the ground along the steps, they saw several Slytherin juniors running in a panic not far away. They hid the back of their heads with the hoods of their wizard robes to avoid the chalk heads everywhere.
"Oh, ten, ten, great, one hundred points!" A dwarf who looked like a dwarf was chasing behind him, somersaulting in the air, waving his two short hands.
"Peeves."
Peeves stopped and looked at the two professors next to him, "Oh, I didn't see~ These poor little ones attracted all my attention..." He stared with evil eyes and pulled his peaked hat unnaturally.
Felix waved his hand, and the pointed hat on Peeves' head flew into his hand. "This shouldn't be yours, Peeves?"
"Yes, it's mine, Professor." A Slytherin boy came over and whispered.
Peeves glared at him fiercely, "Mr. Peeves will remember you!"
The Slytherin was startled, and stopped his hand halfway, with a very hesitant expression.
Felix waved his wand, and a silver light hit Peeves, and his eyes became unfocused. The whole person was light and kept muttering: "No, I hate class!"
"Don't pull my hair..."
"I hate history of magic!"
"Why can he get the highest evaluation!"
These Slytherin wizards looked at Felix in awe, and even Belby's eyes were a little straight. He could deal with Peeves, but it was a bit tingling to create this effect.
Peeves seemed to have split into countless thoughts at once, and they were from different people.
"Don't look at me like that, it's just a simple confusion spell, making it mistakenly think that it was just born." Felix said.
"Is there any explanation?" Belby asked, but he didn't think it was just a simple Confusion Charm.
"Peeves is a special ghost, or it would be more appropriate to call him a poltergeist. He was born with the construction of Hogwarts, but it was not until the school enrolled a large number of students and took advantage of the students' playful emotions and overflowing magic that he took a specific form."
The students who had just been chased listened quietly and exchanged excited glances with each other.
"He won't be like this forever, right?" Belby asked.
"No, he will recover in a week at most, but this process won't be too comfortable... I thought he would remember this feeling." Felix said regretfully.
"Professor, is there any good way..." said the little wizard whose hat was stolen.
But Felix didn't seem to hear it. He asked Belby with an obvious puzzled expression on his face: "What do you think, should we tell the little wizard that the Tongue Locking Curse can also deal with ghosts?"
"Not so good, it may cause trouble to some ghosts..." Belby said cooperatively.
"The ghosts in the castle are all very friendly. If any little wizard dares to use it on a ghost, he will be locked up for a whole year." Felix said.
Belby's eyes twitched a little. Are you serious?
The Slytherin students were also startled. They said stiffly, "Professor, we are leaving first."
"Your hat." Felix threw the pointed hat in his hand to him.
"Thank you, thank you, professor!" The little wizard thanked him and was pulled away by his companions.
