At almost the same time, fierce shouts and sounds of weapons clashing were heard from the direction of the cargo yard in the south of Blackrock City where the caravan's goods were stored.
It was Tang Yanhai who asked An Dehai's caravan to deliberately make the noise.
He divided the scout camp into two teams, one team quietly went to the city gate, and the other team approached the office of the Black Stone City defenders, Ashina Lu's residence.
The defending general Ashina Lu was awakened from his sleep by his personal soldiers. He was shocked and angry when he heard the news, and roared at his men to wake up quickly to deal with the emergency.
The commotion in the city grew louder and louder, and it seemed like countless people were running.
The Chechi soldiers guarding the city gate were still in a daze when they were knocked unconscious by the special elites of the scout camp, and the city gate was quickly opened.
Just as Blackrock City was in chaos, dark shadows surged outside the city.
A thousand elite soldiers led by Pei Lun rushed out from the shadows like ghosts, with their horses' hooves wrapped in thick cloth, men holding tongues in their mouths, and horses removing their bells, and they divided into several groups and rushed into the city.
There were only 800 defenders in Black Stone City, and 1,000 Shuozhou soldiers rushed in and easily conquered the four gates. The defenders had no time to resist and surrendered one after another.
Tang Yanhai, with a team of special elite scouts, had already found Ashina Lu's residence.
Just when Ashina Lu was furious and asked his men to deal with the situation quickly, Tang Yanhai and his men had already appeared around him.
Before Ashina Lu could react, Tang Yanhai chopped down the guards who came forward to stop him without knowing the danger, and kicked Ashina Lu to the ground.
"Who are you and why did you attack us?"
Ashina Lu struggled desperately, and he still couldn't figure out who attacked him.
"Shut up and behave yourself!" Tang Yanhai slapped Ashina Lu with a big fan, and Ashina Lu immediately became much more obedient.
He looked at Tang Yanhai and his men in horror and found that they were actually from Dayin.
Not long after, Pei Lun brought a group of soldiers and horses to join Tang Yanhai. Seeing that Tang Yanhai had already subdued Ashina Lu, he nodded with satisfaction:
"Captain Tang, let's set off now and head straight for the oasis thirty miles away. I want to chop off Timur's head with my own hands."
When Ashina Lu heard this, he realized that these attacks were aimed at Timur, and that their Black Stone City had suffered an unexpected disaster.
"It's none of our business!" Ashina Lu cried repeatedly, "Please spare me!"
Unfortunately, Pei Lun and Tang Yanhai didn't have any words for him.
Pei Lun left a deputy captain with 500 soldiers to control the city and guard the prisoners. He and Tang Yanhai took a total of 600 subordinates, each riding two horses, and headed straight for the oasis west of the city.
The horses' hooves were still wrapped in thick cloth, the people held the gags in their mouths, and the horses removed the bells.
In less than half an hour, the six hundred people arrived at the outskirts of the oasis.
Tang Yanhai waved his hand, and several black shadows approached the sentry post like civet cats, and the blowpipes in their hands silently knocked down the Tatar soldiers on duty.
Chen Wu personally led his men into tent after tent, shook the tinder, and set fire to the tents in the center of the camp.
Timur was attacked by Tian Qing in Shulechuan and escaped with less than a thousand of his subordinates. He then gathered more than a thousand defeated soldiers of King Zhelan.
If Timur's two thousand soldiers had made up their minds, they would have had no problem taking over Chechi Kingdom.
However, when Timur and his men were crossing the desert, they encountered a storm, and more than 2,000 people were buried by the wind and sand.
Then he lost his way in the desert. He was originally going to Ganzhou, but he ended up walking directly to Chechi Kingdom in the Western Regions.
Looking at the subordinates around him, there were only five or six hundred of them, and they were tired and thirsty.
Seeing them appear, King Chechi naturally wanted to stop them.
Timur knelt down and begged for mercy, offered a lot of property, and expressed his loyalty to the Chechi Kingdom, only then was he able to settle down in an oasis allocated by the King of Chechi.
They were badly injured and had lost many horses, so they were lucky to have a place to settle down.
But before he could even relax, Zhao Muyun's men came after him relentlessly.
"kill!"
When Pei Lun saw the signal of fire, he no longer hid and roared like thunder out of the blue.
Six hundred Shuozhou warriors poured into the oasis from three sides like a flood breaking through a dam.
The remaining Timur troops in the oasis never expected to be attacked in this "safe" rear.
Many people were killed in their sleep by the sudden attack of the Shuozhou soldiers.
The awakened Tatar soldiers hastily took up arms to resist, but in front of the Shuozhou army, which was well-organized and had clear tactics, they were quickly divided, surrounded and annihilated.
Timur was awakened by his personal soldiers at the risk of their lives. Just as he grabbed his scimitar, the tent was kicked open.
In the firelight, he saw a tall Tang Yanhai with a cold light in his eyes!
"You... who are you?" Timur's eyes were bloodshot.
"Timur, I'm your Grandpa Tang! Your time of death has come! We've come all this way to take you to reunite with King Zhelan!"
Tang Yanhai shouted loudly, and the embroidered spring knife in his hand pierced Temur's heart like a poisonous dragon coming out of a cave.
Timur swung his sword to block, but there was a loud "bang" that made his arm numb.
He was shocked. Tang Yanhai was really strong!
The two men engaged in a desperate fight in the narrow tent, with swords flashing and strong winds everywhere.
Timur's personal soldiers wanted to step forward to help, but were stopped by Pei Lun's men.
Tang Yanhai's swordsmanship was partially inspired by Zhao Muyun, and it was more concise and ruthless. After more than ten rounds, he swept away Timur's scimitar with one sword, and thrust it forward, accurately piercing Timur's leather armor and penetrating his chest!
Timur's body stiffened, and he looked at the cold blade on his chest in disbelief. He opened his mouth, blood gushed out, and finally he collapsed to the ground.
"The King is dead!"
When the remaining Tatar soldiers saw Timur dead, their morale collapsed immediately. Some knelt down and begged for mercy, while others fled in all directions. They were soon wiped out.
