For example, launching a geostationary orbit satellite to ensure the transmission of psychic signals;
Another example is to create a relatively stable and appropriate spellcasting system so that the arcane magic users among the players can cast spells normally; and to cultivate at least five hundred devout and fanatical believers, and use them as positioning coordinates so that the Phoenix God - Bennu can send an incarnation or projection into this world, ensuring that the priests can obtain divine spells normally through prayer.
Finally, we have to test whether ordinary firearms and artillery will be interfered with by magical factors in this world.
Especially when it comes to creating a spellcasting environment, there are currently only three ways to do it.
One is that Zuo Si, a planeswalker, comes personally to serve as a "background board" for the players.
With the huge influence range of the current highest-level land cards, basically wherever the psychic signal reaches, various casting environments can be covered.
But the problem is that it is obviously impossible for Zuo Si to do nothing and stay in one place for weeks, months, or even a year or two.
So this plan was eliminated from the beginning.
There are two remaining options. One is to directly pull the Mutahar floating city over and use the power of the artifact Broken Magic Crystal to cover an area within a radius of 5,000 kilometers. This can basically meet the needs of players at this stage.
Even increasing the number to hundreds of thousands or even millions would not be a problem.
However, considering that this thing is a bit too much to use against a low-magic world, it is simply like using an anti-aircraft gun to kill a mosquito.
Therefore, Zuo Si chose the last option, which was to build a magic crystal tower in a place where players were relatively active.
Six of them run through the entire Westeros continent from north to south, and the other six extend along the coastal area of Essos and the border with the Dothraki grasslands all the way to the city-states in the Slaver's Bay.
As for the rest, he planned to ask the weapons design and development department to build a few large airships after he returned and place the magic crystal tower on the airships.
In this way, when players need to go deep into the Dothraki grasslands or land on the continent of Sothoryos in the south, they only need to let one or two airships follow.
By then, we can add invisibility effects to the airship, so it will not be discovered even if the altitude is lowered to several hundred meters.
Normally, it would take some time, even for Zuo Si, to complete such a huge workload.
It is particularly difficult to train qualified believers to summon Benu, the Phoenix God.
fortunately!
Illyrio, the tool man, played an extremely important role at the critical moment.
He directly issued an order as the governor, forcibly abolished the original temple of Lord of Light R'hllor, and with the help of Zuo Si, killed all the priests without leaving a single one alive, and confiscated an astonishing amount of wealth.
Afterwards, Illyrio appeared in front of the panic-stricken people with three young dragons and loudly announced to them that he had been enlightened. R'hllor, the Lord of Light, was nothing but a false pseudo-god. Those red-robed monks had stolen the power of Bennu, the great Phoenix God, and were cheating everywhere. They must be dealt with most severely.
From now on, Pentos will forbid all belief in false gods and turn to the arms of the true god Bennu.
Anyone who is unwilling to change their beliefs will be required to pay an additional high tax as punishment.
Although most ordinary people will be skeptical at the beginning.
But when the original temple of R'hllor, the Lord of Light, was transformed into the Temple of the Phoenix, followed by a grand welcoming ceremony, all doubts disappeared completely.
Everyone in Pentos, from the nobles and wealthy businessmen to the common people and slaves, began to become extremely fanatical about religious beliefs.
Illyrio firmly believed that this was proof of God's favor to him, and that very day he donated all the money and property confiscated from the priests of R'hllor, Lord of Light, to the God of the Phoenix, and he also became a fanatical believer.
Because during the summoning ceremony, Zuo Si used his power as a planeswalker to connect to other worlds and directly pulled an incarnation of Benu over.
When the giant flaming phoenix that was hundreds of meters long appeared above the temple, emitting endless majesty, how could the people in this world who had never seen such a miracle dare to be disrespectful in the slightest?
Thus, those followers of R'hllor, Lord of Light, were seamlessly and successfully transformed into followers of the God of Phoenix in less than a few minutes.
After all, the former claims to be the God of Light and the God of Fire, and fire is also part of Bennu's priesthood. There is almost no difference between the two sides in this respect.
They could even comfort themselves that they had been completely deceived by those damn red-robed priests and that they actually believed in the God of Phoenix.
In just one or two days, tens of thousands of people bowed down at the feet of the Phoenix God. There were even two noble girls with high perception attributes who took the lead in establishing a stable connection with Benu. They were also granted a small amount of divine arts, thus becoming a glorious trainee priest and officially entering the temple.
Don't underestimate this! Perhaps in the continent of Faerun, an apprentice who only knows a few zero-ring divine arts like this is not even qualified to preside over a prayer ceremony alone. At best, he can only do odd jobs such as cleaning and organizing books.
But in this world, supernatural powers are rare and mysterious, and are precious things that even the nobles and kings cannot easily obtain.
Therefore, even the most insignificant [Heal Minor Injuries], [Light], [Water Creation], and [Gift] will make ignorant and foolish people feel awe.
What's more, Bennu is a real god who masters the three major priesthoods of fire, soul and immortality. At the same time, he slowly condenses some other priesthoods under the prayers of believers in the floating city world. He can grant believers with high perception attributes real divine power. His statues, shrines and holy emblems exude an indescribable majesty and sacredness.
Just a few days after the end of the summoning ceremony, the believers began to spread rapidly around Pentos, and their number was too great to be counted.
Not only that!
Some merchant ships from other free trade cities and the continent of Westeros across the sea also brought back the flame of faith while doing business.
As for the Church of R'hllor, Lord of Light, which was clamoring for revenge in several other city-states, they were ruthlessly uprooted by Zuo Si before they could take any action.
Moreover, he used violent fire magic to kill people, causing all the priests who claimed to be the God of Fire to wail miserably under the burning of the fierce fire, and let the people in the whole city see their souls being swallowed by the huge phoenix phantom as they floated into the sky.
Of course, Zuo Si did this not entirely out of some kind of bad taste, but also wanted to test the background of the Lord of Light, R'hllor.
But unfortunately, no one knows whether the other party does not exist at all, or does not care about the deaths of a few mortals, or is unable to display its power because the magic tide has not yet arrived. In short, there has been no reaction at all from beginning to end.
Even though his own temple and statues were burned to ashes by the Fiendfyre, rumors spread everywhere from the Free Cities to the Slaver's Bay that R'hllor, Lord of Light, was a false god, and that everything that was happening now was the revenge of the Phoenix God.
Moreover, a large number of city-states began to convert to the Phoenix God Bennu, and the faith of the entire continent of Essos was on the verge of completely collapsing and being replaced.
"Interesting... If the Lord of Light is trying to deceive me by pretending to be dead, then he is really a worthy opponent. At least he is qualified to sit at the card table and play this game."
After finishing a round of faith attacks on R'hllor, Zuo Si touched his chin and smiled meaningfully.
As a man who had been involved in conspiracies and intrigues for a long time and even dared to plot against gods and the strongest planeswalkers like Nicol Bolas, his thinking and consciousness had long become as terrifying and dark as a monster.
No matter what situation you encounter, you will always consider the worst-case scenario first and then quickly develop a response plan.
R'hllor, the Lord of Light who has performed the most miracles in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire, has been targeted from the very beginning. His level of attention even exceeds that of the God of Cold represented by the White Walkers north of the Wall.
"Father, are you thinking too much? Ever since I came here, I have never felt any trace of the existence of gods in this world. The power used by those red-robed priests is more like their own imagination than a gift from God." Benu said with a hint of disdain.
But Zuo Si smiled and shook his head: "No, you are wrong. Although the way the red priests master the power of spells is very similar to the godless priests who believe in abstract concepts mentioned in the religious knowledge of the continent of Faerun, it does not mean that this God of Light does not exist.
Perhaps he was just hiding deeper, or perhaps he was temporarily unable to send his power into this world.
Remember, when predicting your enemies, try to imagine them to be more powerful, cunning, and difficult to deal with, so that you can be adequately prepared in advance.
Especially in a war between gods, even the smallest mistake could turn into a fatal weakness, so you can’t be careless at all.”
"Understood. I will carefully monitor all signs of divine power in this world."
Benu nodded very humbly, and soon turned into a ball of fire and disappeared without a trace.
As a god, he was born too recently, and his character is full of naivety and idealism.
If it were a world without gods, such as the magical earth and the floating city world, there wouldn't be any big problems.
In any case, mortals cannot pose any threat to gods, let alone actually kill a god, let alone the Phoenix God who has unlimited resurrection power.
But if you enter a world with many gods, like Toril, you will most likely be schemed against by those old perverts and won't be able to keep anything.
This is also the reason why, even though Zuo Si had gathered enough goblin believers for him, he still did not allow him to descend and incarnate into the continent of Faerun.
Bennu still needs time to grow and needs to go through one war after another between gods to complete nirvana and rebirth.
After all, he was not his cheap teacher Sorin Markov, who created Avacyn and then let her stay in Innistrad obediently. He had no intention of letting the archangel continue to grow and become stronger. Instead, he wanted to train Benu to be one of his most capable helpers.
With the departure of the God of Phoenix, Zuo Si was the only one left in the courtyard of the Governor's Palace of Pentos.
Just as he lowered his head to consider whether to release all the players with top destructive power at once now, or wait until the martial arts tournament starts in King's Landing, he suddenly sensed a figure sneaking in from outside, hiding behind a tree and observing carefully.
With his perception far beyond that of ordinary people, he confirmed the other party's identity almost instantly.
Viserys Targaryen, the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne, is also an exiled prince who is secretly cared for and funded by Dorne and Varys the Octopus.
Of course, since that incident, he has had another identity, that is, the "concubine" favored by Governor Illyrio of Pentos, and she will be upgraded to a legal wife in no time.
Although in Viserys's view, this was definitely an indelible stain in his life and an insult more terrible than death. He wanted to commit suicide out of shame several times.
Unfortunately, after several failed suicide attempts, he discovered in great pain that he was not as fearless as he had imagined.
Before he could even stab the dagger into his throat, heart or other vital parts, he would tremble all over and lose the courage to continue as soon as the skin was scratched.
fear!
The instinctive fear of death almost instantly destroyed Viserys's will and psychological defenses, making him clearly realize for the first time his cowardly nature.
What the hell is "Wrath of the Sleeping Dragon".
He was just venting the suppressed anger, resentment and humiliation from the outside world to his sister who was even weaker and more helpless than him.
Because apart from Daenerys, there is no other channel for venting.
Everything is nothing but impotent rage.
There is a saying that goes, as long as a person can correctly understand himself, he can find the path in life that suits him.
There is no doubt that after learning from his mistakes, Viserys began to change his mindset and actively tried to please Illyrio, getting a lot of key information from him.
The reason why I appeared here today was actually to try to contact Zuo Si, a wizard with powerful magical powers, to find out his intentions and ideas, and then see if I can bring him to my side.
Looking at the first heir of the Targaryen family who was wearing a silk dress and even makeup, Zuo Si immediately showed a playful smile and took the initiative to say hello: "Good afternoon, His Majesty the great Viserys III, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, and the only legitimate ruler of the Seven Kingdoms."
Hearing this series of titles that he used to mention frequently, as well as the other party's tone that was clearly full of teasing and sarcasm, Viserys immediately felt anger rising.
But he soon forced himself to calm down, biting his lower lip tightly and asked: "Have I ever offended you before? Why are you always targeting me?"
Zuo Si responded with a smile: "Targeting? Haha, I think you seem to have misunderstood something.
I never targeted you, I just made your current situation clear in another way.
My dear king, you must understand that things like law and bloodline are often just icing on the cake, not the real foundation of strength, power and dignity.
Think carefully about how your ancestor Aegon I conquered Westeros.
Is it based on some ridiculous legal theory?
No! The Targaryens had no claim to that land at all.
Is that because of the noble bloodline of the Targaryen family?
The answer is no! For the continent of Westeros at that time, Targaryen was just a small family that survived the Doomsday disaster of Valyria.
So what did Aegon I rely on to win the throne?
It's a dragon! It's war! It's the ruthless slaughter of all those who resist!
Looking at the list of families that perished in the War of Conquest and the thousands of soldiers who were burned alive by dragon fire, they can tell you why Aegon I could be crowned the undisputed ruler of Westeros.
In the same vein, what do you think enabled the usurper Robert Baratheon to seize the Iron Throne? The Baratheon bloodline and the title of Lord of Storm's End? Of course, these two things played a role in the whole process.
But why not Ned Stark?
This Duke of the North also has noble blood and a distinguished family.
But the real reason was that Robert personally killed Prince Rhaegar in the Battle of the Trident and won the most crucial victory of the entire war.
Royal power never falls out of thin air, but is forged with blood and fire.
But look at you now!
You actually want to rely on your mouth and the so-called status of the legal heir to make everyone obey your orders, provide money and manpower to help you take back everything that the Targaryen family lost because of their reckless behavior.
Why? To put it more directly, even if you were given enough soldiers, food, and money, would you be able to control and command them?
Are you sure that those ambitious people and nobles who have come to you will not turn around and kill you after the enemy offers a higher price? Do you understand how the power game between the various families is carried out under the feudal system? Do you know how to divide, win over and restrain those powerful dukes so that they will never have the opportunity to unite and threaten the royal power?
No, you don't understand anything. You are just a pathetic person who holds on to an unrealistic fantasy and dares not even face the cruel reality."
As these words came out of his mouth, Viserys felt as if he was hit hard by a hammer.
First I was confused, then I was shocked beyond words, and in the end I finally understood where I had gone wrong all these years.
You have to know that before this, no one had ever used such straightforward and simple words to point out to him what the core of power was, and why the lords who should have been loyal to the Targaryen family calmly accepted the rule of the usurper Robert.
After several minutes, Viserys finally digested everything. He raised his head and summoned up the courage to test: "Can you come and help me? I swear! No matter what conditions Illyrio offers, I am willing to pay double, no, triple, quadruple, ten times.
When I regain the Iron Throne, I can wipe out all the families that participated in the rebellion, such as Baratheon, Stark, Lannister, and Arryn, and grant you all the territories they control as a reward."
If you are interested in a woman of Targaryen descent like Daenerys, I can also give you all my future daughters."
Admiring the awareness revealed in Viserys's fierce eyes, Zuo Si chuckled and praised: "Not bad! Pain and frustration are indeed good medicine for a man's growth.
At least you have put aside your past annoying arrogance and started learning to win others over to work for you by promising benefits.
It’s a pity that I’m not someone you can win over, and you can’t give me what I want.
As for your sister, in my eyes, she is more like a beautiful pet or doll, not as important as you think.
But don't worry, if you want to deal with Illyrio or use him to achieve your own goals, I will not expose or stop you.
Finally, I'll give you one more piece of advice.
Forbearance is a quality that all those who achieve great things must possess.
Only if you completely conceal your true intentions, endure humiliation and do your best to please Illyrio, and make him think that you have accepted your fate.
Then he will let down his guard and accept you, and even let you have some power."
"Forbearance..."
Viserys' eyes instantly flashed with strong rejection, disgust and hatred, but he finally gritted his teeth and replied: "Thank you for your guidance, I think I know what to do."
"Come on, I'm looking forward to your performance in the next Game of Thrones." Zuo Si encouraged with pretentious kindness.
Not long after he walked out of the yard, Daenerys came out of a house not far away and asked in an uncertain tone: "Did Viserys come here just now? Why do I seem to hear his voice?"
"No, you heard it wrong." Zuo Si immediately denied it.
"Who were you talking to then?"
Daenerys looked puzzled.
Although she knew very well that she was no longer a princess, but a gift sent by the governor.
But after a few days of getting along, the girl gradually discovered that the young man in front of her, who dominated her destiny and even her life and death, did not seem as scary as she had imagined before.
Apart from the fact that he was a little scared when his blood was drawn on the first night, he was generally easy to talk to and didn't like to hit people like his brother did.
"A servant sent by Magister Illyrio. By the way, didn't you want to go out to the market today? Why didn't you go?"
Zuo Si calmly changed the subject.
Daenerys spread her hands helplessly and said, "It's not that I don't want to go, but the horse king named Drogo and his men are coming. There are many Dothraki on the streets of the city right now. The maid said it's better not to be bumped into by them. Otherwise, God knows what these barbaric and rude guys will do."
"Drogo is here?"
A barely perceptible light flashed in Zuo Si's eyes.
"Well! Governor Illyrio is busy entertaining them. It is said that these guys have made many harsh demands. Do you think they will lead their army to attack Pentos directly if their demands are not met?"
When talking about the Dothraki nomads, Daenerys's eyes were clearly filled with intense fear and terror.
Ever since she could remember, she had been fleeing between the nine free cities, avoiding the pursuit of Robert Baratheon.
I have also seen how bloody and cruel these barbarians on horseback are when they rob caravans and villages. They often kill all adult men, the elderly and children, leaving only young women to be raped and ravaged at will to vent their inner beastly desires.
In fact, in the eyes of many self-proclaimed civilized city-states and countries, the Dothraki nomads are not even worthy of being called human beings, but are more like a group of beasts in human skins.
Their behavior and level of civilization are not even as good as those of the wildlings north of the Wall in Westeros.
At least the freedom-loving savages know how to speak and communicate.
But the Dothraki often draw their knives without saying a word. When they see something they desire, the first thing they think of is not buying or trading, but to grab it directly.
"Relax, there is nothing to worry about. This fellow named Drogo and his Horde cavalry will soon be wiped out. Not only that, but the Dothraki steppes will soon be flooded with blood."
Zuo Si reached out and smoothed the silver-gold hair that hung down beside the cheeks of the young "Dragon Mother", while admiring her beautiful eyes that were like those of a Persian cat.
It has to be said that Daenerys, who is now timid and cowardly, is indeed very suitable to be raised as a pet like a canary.
In fact, if she had not been forced to marry into the Dothraki prairie, a place full of primitive and barbaric atmosphere, and her husband Drogo, who provided her with shelter, had died, she might never have embarked on the extremely difficult road to restoration of her country in her life.
"Are you...are you going to kill them all with your terrible magic?" Daenerys' voice trembled slightly.
Zuo Si smiled and shook his head: "That's not necessary.
The organizational structure of the Dothraki tribal union is actually very fragile.
As long as the leader is killed, the rest of the people will soon start fighting each other for power, until the originally huge tribe falls apart.
This is also the reason why, in such a long history, the Dothraki have never established a real country and civilization.
As for those so-called loyal blood guards, most of them are brainless.
With a little guidance, they will be eager to vent their anger on the person they think is the murderer.
Besides, you don't have to be so afraid of the power of magic.
Because it is just a simple tool, and is nothing compared to the truly sinister human heart."
Daenerys nodded thoughtfully and continued to ask: "What about me? How do you plan to arrange me?"
"It depends on your choice."
As he spoke, Zuo Si raised his hand and activated his druid ability, calling a captive bird with bright feathers directly from the treetops in the garden in the yard.
Then he summoned a wild bird from the sky above his head. The bird had been flying for a long time and its feathers looked a little dirty.
He placed the birds on his hands in front of the girl and said in a deep voice, "Look, these are two completely different birds.
The first type is raised by the owner, with sufficient food and water every day, and even a warm shelter when it is cold.
They do not need to search for food in the barren wilderness under the scorching sun or cold wind all day long, where they could die if they are not careful. Their lifespan is also much longer than that of their wild counterparts.
But the price is that it will lose its freedom forever and lose the wildness of soaring in the sky and blending into nature.
The other type is wild birds, which have to struggle for survival after waking up every day. They not only have to endure hunger and cold, but also have to be wary of natural enemies that feed on them.
But they have no owners and live only for themselves. They can fly freely in the sky, go wherever they want, and enjoy the most magnificent and beautiful scenery of nature.
But the price is that you are in danger of dying at any moment, not knowing whether you will die in the next second.
Tell me, if you were a bird, would you rather be a captive bird or a wild bird?"
moment!
Daenerys fell silent, her eyes moving back and forth between the two birds.
Although she is only thirteen years old this year, her long-term life of wandering and avoiding hunting has made her mind much more mature than her peers. She understands that the other party is using the bird to metaphorically represent her future.
Choosing to become a house bird means having a comfortable life and being protected safely. The only thing you have to do is to please and serve your owner with all your heart.
If he chooses to become a wild bird, it means he will be free, and even like his brother, he will try to find allies and find ways to raise an army to land on the continent of Westeros and take back the Iron Throne that belongs to the Targaryen family.
If it were someone who was ambitious, aspiring and idealistic, he would definitely choose the latter without hesitation.
Freedom is more precious to them than life.
But unfortunately, things like ambition, aspirations and ideals were never what the young "Dragon Mother" needed.
When she was born, the Targaryen dynasty had already collapsed, and she had never experienced the treatment and privileges of being a princess.
Instead, she was constantly hunted down because of her identity as a princess.
After a brief thought, the girl gently picked up the bird with beautiful feathers, raised her head and smiled, "This is my choice. I'm tired of living in fear and hiding. I just want to live a peaceful life without any disturbance."
"Very good, I will grant your wish."
After saying that, Zuo Si injected a little natural energy into the wild bird, then threw it into the air and let it fly.
Daenerys also put the bird in her hand on a branch beside her, then opened her arms and hugged the young man in front of her tightly, feeling an unprecedented sense of security.
At this moment, she finally didn't have to worry about all those messy things anymore, let alone whether Illyrio or her brother Viserys would use her as a bargaining chip and give her to those terrible barbarians in exchange for the army to restore their country.
Because she knew that Zuo Si, who possessed powerful magical powers, could protect herself and deter those with evil intentions.
After a while, the completely relaxed "Dragon Mother" fell asleep in Zuo Si's arms.
She used to often wake up from terrible nightmares, but now the corners of her mouth curled up slightly to reveal a faint smile, and from time to time she would utter some hums and mutters that outsiders could not understand.
Zuo Si did not wake Daenerys up, but very considerately picked her up and carried her back to the bed in the house.
Just as he finished all this, a dark figure suddenly emerged from the corner of the room, and through the mind connection, he exclaimed with envy and jealousy: "Oh! My dear master, I didn't expect that in just a few days, you have hooked up with the most coveted beauty in the world.
Awesome! And she's a 13-year-old white-haired cute girl who's still fresh!
Plus she is a princess of a fallen country!
If she puts on a Gothic dress with white stockings, I would lick her to pieces.
Oh, heaven! Oh, earth! Why can't I encounter such a good thing?
no!
Since you have already taken the lead in picking Daenerys, I'll take the loss and reserve Margaery, the little rose of the Tyrell family in Highgarden.
If I remember correctly, she should be fifteen years old this year and still within her shelf life.
Cersei's daughter Myrcella seems like a good match too. "
Just by listening to the despicable and extremely lustful tone, one could tell that the person coming was none other than the diary that controlled Mutahar's floating city.
"You are such an animal."
Zuo Si rolled his eyes at this guy whose head was full of erotic thoughts, and immediately questioned him through the mind connection: "Why did you come here without permission? Didn't I tell you not to leave the floating city easily unless it's important? Don't forget, you are the core of Mutahar's floating city. If you die, the entire activated floating city will collapse."
"Don't worry. I am the half of you who inherited all your memories and knowledge. I am not that easy to kill. Besides, how do you know that I have nothing important to do this time?"
After saying that, the diary took out a note from somewhere.
Zuo Si took it and glanced at it, his expression suddenly changed slightly: "When did this happen?"
The diary answered without hesitation: “Just two days ago, the baby boy born by Varena began to show abnormal reactions.
At first, Vanessa didn't care too much.
But soon, this newborn baby showed extraordinary magical talent and even successfully performed a zero-ring trick.
After exploring the memories of the main brain Isadora, it can be confirmed that he is your teacher who guided you on the path of magic - the necromancer Asta.
In other words, it is a replica that perfectly inherits his personality and memories.
What are you going to do with him? Are you going to make him taste everything that this guy has done to you?"
Zuo Si immediately shook his head: "No, I won't do such boring and tasteless things.
Moreover, the feud between Asta and I ended completely with his death.
The baby now merely carries Asta's memories and knowledge, just like the relationship between you and me.
Most importantly, he didn't know that I killed the real Astra."
"You mean... to subdue him or use him?" A look of surprise appeared on the Diary's face.
"That's right! Don't forget, Asta is a very rational and realistic person. He would never do something incomprehensible for no reason.
Moreover, do you think that with our current strength, we need to be afraid of a mere necromancer? Open your eyes.
As the saying goes, the sea is vast because it can accommodate all rivers.
Whether it is collecting and organizing spells, knowledge and information, or finding the whereabouts of other floating cities, Asta can play a key role.
All he wanted was some knowledge and immortality."
Zuo Si stroked his chin and spoke his mind directly.
As his strength continues to grow and expand, he is no longer the apprentice who needs to be cautious and tread carefully, but a powerful mage who can easily invade and occupy the entire world.
There is no need to kill all the former teachers who are just born and are still in the infant stage.
In other words, the other party can no longer pose even the slightest threat to him.
"Okay, you're the boss, you have the final say. But I suggest you go there in person, otherwise Asta won't trust others easily."
The diary shrugged indifferently.
"I just happen to be going back to check on the progress of the airship's manufacturing, and by the way, to visit King Shane VII, and then head to Luskan to attend the Northern Lords Alliance Meeting.
I'll leave this to you to take charge of!
Remember, be more restrained. If I find out that you have done anything to tarnish my reputation...
Then don't expect to have any fun alone anymore."
Zuo Si stared at the half-body that looked exactly like him, and issued a solemn warning.
The diary nodded without hesitation and responded: "Understood! Don't worry about me doing the job!"
After getting the guarantee he wanted, Zuo Si immediately activated the power of sparks and instantly left this world and disappeared without a trace.
Just a second later, he appeared directly in the central tower of the floating city of Plantia and asked the busy Tyrantil: "Where is the baby now?"
"To prevent him from escaping, Vanessa placed him next to the main brain pool of the Snail Shell." The latter pointed out the direction without hesitation.
Zuo Si then cast a teleportation magic and came from the central tower to the brain pool room of the snail shell ship hidden underground.
He ignored the group of newly born mind flayers that had just completed their transformation and would donate their brains after laying eggs. He narrowed his eyes and stared at the baby placed in a soft crib. He greeted him with a slightly emotional tone: "Long time no see, my dear mentor. I never thought that we would meet again in such an unexpected way."
"Sos? Tell me, what on earth happened in this world?" Asta stood up from the crib holding the guardrail.
Although his limbs still looked weak, his eyes revealed his cold, cruel and gloomy character.
"This is a long story. Where should I start?" Zuo Si was obviously in a dilemma.
Because according to the information he had obtained, the last time Asta preserved his memory was more than half a year before the outbreak of the plague. So many things happened in between that he didn't know where to start.
Asta lowered his head and thought for a moment, then quickly spoke: "Let's start from the first time we opened the portal to Faerun. Be as detailed as possible and don't leave anything out."
"From the first time the portal was opened? That's a long time. Are you sure you don't need to drink some milk or take care of your physiological needs before that? As far as I know, babies have no self-control, and I don't want to change diapers or feed them."
When saying this, there was an obvious hint of sarcasm in Zuo Si's tone.
"Damn it! Someone come! Bring me a bottle of milk at the right temperature! And! I want to pee!" Asta shouted through gritted teeth.
He obviously hated his current weak, powerless infant state and didn't want to make a fool of himself in front of his former apprentice.
