Chapter 136 White Cat

Vanessa looked at me, suppressing her anger. "There's no need to fight anymore, but we still have to pretend. We just have to wait for Connie to tell us the results."

I licked Liv's neck and replied slowly, "Huh? Is that the end? I never thought they would establish their own power in the Sky Garden. It's really surprising!"

Liv blushed and didn't dare look at Vanessa. She gently grabbed my sleeve and whispered, "Commander!"

I just pressed my finger against Liv's mouth to tell her to be quiet and not talk.

Vanessa coughed. "So we still have to act natural for now and just treat this attack as an ordinary case."

I opened Liv's collar and buried my head in it, my voice becoming murky. "Even though it's pretending to be a normal incident, we still need to have the cleanup team thoroughly investigate the interior and try to detect any inverse meta-devices within the constructs."

Liv: "Commander! Miss Vanessa is watching

Liv's screams reached Vanessa's ears clearly, and Vanessa couldn't stand it any longer: "Of course I have to know this, but can you please not go too far? This is an ordinary room, but can you please not show your sexual desire in front of me? And Liv, why are you screaming so loudly?"

Vanessa's eyes were wide open with anger, her teeth were grinding, and her anger had reached its peak.

Liv closed her mouth tightly, trying not to make any sound, and bent her right hand to cover her mouth.

I pressed Liv's hands down and continued to enjoy her smooth body. I turned and looked at Vanessa irritably: "After fighting for so many years, can't I enjoy myself? After all, they are all my teammates, and they are also my fiancée."

Vanessa's face flushed with rage, her mouth twisted into an S-shape. She stood up and stormed out, but she added one more thing as she reached the door: "And you should be careful too. There's a chance the traitor might have noticed our actions and is planning to cause trouble."

I nonchalantly replied, "Got it! Hurry up and leave, don't hit us!"

"You! Humph!"

Vanessa clapped her hands and took two steps and one to quickly leave.

【District 9 Evening】

Lucia and I were so bored while on patrol that we wanted to take a break, so we held Lucia in our arms and flew to the rooftop of an abandoned building.

I took off my armor and sat down on the edge of the building with Lucia, enjoying the cool summer night breeze and trying to find the location of the sky garden under the starry sky.

But it is definitely invisible. If the Sky Garden is a bright spot in the sky, then every star in the sky could be a Sky Garden.

I was humming a song and shaking my legs, and Lucia kept holding my hand tightly. To be honest, it hurt a little, but when I saw Lucia's face that looked like she was worried that I would fall, I still felt a little worried.

Me: "Okay, okay, Lucia, I won't jump, and you're holding on too tightly."

Hearing this, Lucia hurriedly let go of her hand, a guilty look on her face: "Sorry, Commander! I'm just a little scared."

I took Lucia's hand, interlaced our fingers, and leaned against the stone bricks, laughing softly, "Idiot!"

"Ah! Why do you say that? Did Lucia do something wrong?" Lucia looked at me in panic with a red face, her tone sounding a little excited.

I was unhappy and flicked Lucia's head with my right hand: "A fool is a fool. How can there be someone as stupid as you in the world?"

"Why are you saying that to me, Commander? Lucia is not stupid at all."

Lucia didn't even blink, still dwelling on the same issue.

I moved closer to Lucia. "I told you to rely on the Commander. Didn't I tell you last time? The Commander is very powerful, more powerful than any human. Don't worry about me. Your own survival is the most important thing. That's what the Commander wants most."

Lucia finally understood what I meant. The panic on her face disappeared and she gradually revealed a relieved smile. "Is that so? Lucia understands, but Commander, don't be so confident. It will cause big problems."

I shook my head: "It's okay, I'll just act cool in front of you. If I meet an Ascendant, I'll kneel down and beg for mercy."

Lucia finally felt relieved: "That's right, the most important thing is that everyone survives."

We laughed at each other. It was a really relaxing moment. We had all changed a lot. Was it because of me? Maybe!

I don't know when Lucia quietly lowered her head. When I looked back, I found that she had fallen asleep. I felt very strange looking at Lucia's dormant face. Was she too tired? Or was the cool breeze just so comfortable?

I retracted my legs, turned around, pressed the controller on my neck, put on my armor, bent down, picked up Lucia, and prepared to go back to the barracks to rest early. When I was about to take off, I suddenly saw a strange thing on the top of the building in front of me.

I zoomed in on the helmet screen and saw a large, red and black motorcycle parked on top of a building. Uh...a motorcycle parked on top of a building? What idiot?

Wait... I squinted my eyes and looked at the motorcycle carefully. My hair is pretty handsome. If no one wants it, then give it to me. A greedy look suddenly appeared on my face. Who wouldn’t love such a handsome motorcycle?

I slowly put Lucia aside and flew over by myself. As soon as I approached the motorcycle, I was attracted by the wide tires.

I quickly took off my armor, pressed my whole body against the motorcycle, turned over and sat on it, squeezed the handle, and wow, the feeling and touch were just like having physical communication with Lucia and the others, and I felt extremely comfortable.
