Chapter 22 Karenina

Karenina raised the bazooka, but Gabriel's tentacles pierced her body and threw her out of the car.

I yelled, "Karenina!"

Liv was tied up by the tentacles and thrown hard onto the roof of the car. I shot Gabriel with my pistol, but only a few sparks flew and there was no damage at all.

The soldiers hiding in the wall on the train rushed out to attack Gabriel but were killed by Gabriel in an instant. Gabriel lifted me up with one hand and tore off my palm directly. I screamed in pain.

Gabriel taunted him, "You should thank me. Compared to Roland, I'm quite gentle. If you come with me, I can even show them mercy and make their deaths less ugly."

Sophia rushed over and turned on the switch of the mobile elevator. As soon as she pulled it down, she was split in half by Gabriel. As the mobile elevator opened, the floor under her feet began to move, and she quickly rushed towards the carriage equipped with the filtering device.

Gabriel lost his balance for a moment, and his body directly knocked open the door of the carriage. Lucia took this opportunity to chop directly at Gabriel, but Gabriel quickly grabbed Lucia's knife with his tentacles and threw her away, and grabbed Lucia's legs and hung her in the air.

Gabriel yelled at me, "If you don't stop, I'm going to cut her in half."

I got up from the ground: "Shoot now."

Gabriel said calmly: "These things are of no use to me at all."

But what was fired were incendiary bombs, and Gabriel and Lucia's bodies quickly burned. Gabriel's body emitted red smoke, which touched my body and began to corrode my protective suit.

Gabriel threw Lucia against the wall next to him and quickly put out the fire on her body with freezing liquid.

Gabriel said in an admiring tone: "It's amazing that you can think of this, but it's still useless."

Suddenly, wings grew out of Gabriel's back, and he broke through the roof and flew out. You're really fucking cheating!

Gabriel: "Your value to Pamish must be very high, so I have to get you out alive. Otherwise, I would have destroyed the filter device and you would have been blown to death. What you are doing now is completely meaningless."

Looking at Gabriel flying in the sky, I was filled with despair. What should I do? Was he going to take me back with him like the other people who had been taken away before? What would I experience if I were taken back?

Suddenly, Karenina's weak voice came from the communication device: "Commander, quickly launch a smoke bomb near him."

I didn't hesitate at all. I was going to struggle to the end. I took out a colored smoke bomb from my protective suit with one hand, loaded it on my pistol, and shot it at Gabriel.

Smoke bombs exploded around Gabriel.

Gabriel's face was grim as he shouted, "I've already told you, what's the point of doing this? I'll cut you into pieces. As long as you're still alive, that's fine, right?"

As he spoke, he opened all the tentacles on his body and stabbed at me. At this moment, a spaceship suddenly broke through the smoke and knocked Gabriel out directly. Gabriel's whole body stuck to the top of the spaceship.

Karenina fell from the spacecraft. I jumped out of the hole and caught Karenina who was falling at high speed, but even with the protective suit, my arms were broken and the suit was about to be torn apart.

Karenina forced a smile and said, "My spaceship is a missile."

After a while, a violent explosion was heard in the distant sky. I leaned my head on Karenina's face with tears in my eyes: "It's over, thank you." Then I fell down.
