Vera and I were sitting in the pub. I looked at Vera, who was drinking heavily, and quickly said, "Miss Vera, you can't drink anymore. If you drink more, there will be problems."
Vera blushed and said angrily, "Are you saying I'm incompetent? Do you think so too, No. 21?"
Number 21 said weakly, "I don't understand what this means."
When Vera heard this, she stuffed the bottle into No. 21's mouth and said, "Then try it."
No. 21 was forced to drink half a bottle of wine, and then fell directly on the table with his face red.
Vera laughed and shouted, "Hahaha, your alcohol tolerance is too poor."
I saw her and asked worriedly, "Isn't she a minor?"
Vera smiled and said, "Haha, don't be fooled by her petite figure. She's actually about the same age as you."
Me: “Is that so?”
Vera didn't answer and I just fell down. She can't drink as much as I do?
I looked at Vera, who was lying on the table with her hair disheveled, and remembered that time on the train when Gabriel tried to invade my consciousness.
Can I enter someone else's consciousness without a machine? If I succeed, does that mean I can activate it without a machine?
I thought I might give it a try, so I looked at Vera for a moment. Oh, am I stupid? How could I possibly enter the room just by looking at her?
So how did Gabriel do it? Did he rely on Pamish's power? Then what should I rely on? I'm not like the telepathic ones in the movies.
Suddenly I thought of the simple device used to stimulate the inverse element device after the construct died on the battlefield. I took out a bag from my pocket and pulled out something that looked like a receiver, one at each end, and a regulator to adjust the size of the stimulation current.
The usage is to insert a construct at each end, and the mutual stimulation of the consciousness sea of both sides can make the frozen construct resume work.
I gently lifted Vera's red hair and placed one end to her temple and the other end to my own temple.
To be honest, I didn't know how strong the current was, so I adjusted it to the smallest setting. As soon as I turned it on, the huge current knocked me out.
I don't know how much time passed before I woke up. "Wow, what the hell is this?" I thought it would work, but I checked the time. I was only unconscious for ten minutes. Sure enough, the methods used on constructs can't be applied to humans.
Vera was stimulated but did not wake up. Seeing that it was getting late, I wanted to push Vera awake, but I was overthinking it. She couldn't even wake up with electric shock, so how could she wake up if I pushed her a few times?
I pushed No. 21 a few more times but it still didn't work. I turned to look at the service construct and asked, "Do you offer a service to take guests home?"
The service construct replied: "Sorry, we don't have this service." Alas, I guessed it, so I have to take them back to the dormitory.
I held No. 21 in my right arm and carried Vera on my back, and walked out of the tavern in a funny manner. When I reached the door of the dormitory of the three-headed dog team, I realized that I had not yet taken Miss Vera's ID.
I put No. 21 on the ground, squatted down and leaned Vera against the wall. I fumbled in the two pockets of Vera's clothes, but there was nothing. Where was it?
I touched the pocket on No. 21's sleeve again, but there was nothing there. No. 21 suddenly woke up.
He looked at me and asked, "What are you doing?" I was startled.
But calm down and say, "Where is your ID card for the captain's quarters?"
Number 21 thought for a moment, then whispered, "I know where the captain put it."
After saying that, he crawled onto Vera like a caterpillar, took out an ID card from Vera's chest with his mouth, then crawled to my feet and put the ID card at my feet.
I was really a little shocked by her behavior and that Vera actually left her ID card in such a place.
I opened the door, turned on the light, and looked back to see No. 21 lying face down on the ground, motionless. I sighed, picked up Vera and put her on the bed.
When I mentioned bed No. 21 again and was about to put her on the bed, she suddenly struggled and said, "Bed No. 21 is not there."
I was confused. "I know you're just going to sleep for a while."
Number 21 kicked me and said, "My bed is right next to Captain Verala."
After listening to his words, I looked to the side and was shocked. Isn’t this a fucking doghouse?
I asked No. 21 again, "Are you sure this is your bed?"
No. 21 nodded at me. I had no choice but to put No. 21 on the bed in the doghouse-like place. As soon as I put it on the bed, No. 21 curled up into a ball and fell asleep with his eyes closed. Uh, awesome.
I threw my ID card on the bed and went out, then walked to my dormitory, took a shower, and fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning, I had just washed up and put on my clothes when I heard someone knocking on my door.
I opened the door, and Vera lifted me up with one hand and said fiercely, "What did you want to do last night, you little brat?"
I said, bewildered, "Ms. Vera, what do you mean by that?"
Vera continued to shout: "Why did you shock me with that broken thing yesterday?"
After Vera said that, I remembered that I wanted to enter Vera's sea of consciousness yesterday, but didn't she faint at that time?
I asked Vera, "Weren't you drunk at the time? How did you still feel conscious?"
Vera blushed and shouted, "What do you care if I'm drunk or not? Tell me what you want to do."
I struggled: "Put me down first!"
So Vera calmed down and put me down. Vera: "So what do you want to do?"
