Chapter 47: That moment seemed like the end

Karenina rushed downstairs: "What are you waiting for? Let's go!"

I looked at Karenina speechlessly: "You're going the wrong way, on that side."

Karenina smiled awkwardly and said, "Sorry, sorry, I was too excited."

I thought to myself that something even more exciting might happen next, and I hope it goes smoothly!

Lucia smiled and took Liv's hand and followed Karenina. Li and I followed behind them, looking at their backs. Ah! It was so nice.

Soon, we arrived at the bridal shop. The size of the shop was pretty good, not too small or too big, just right. I thought the world had forgotten the emotion of love.

The bridal shop is entirely glass, with the exception of a few sofas and a few wooden rooms. Is this to save money? Or is it to allow for a more direct view of the merchandise?

Karenina looked at the wedding dress inside in amazement, touched it with her hands and smelled it with her nose.

I quickly rushed over, grabbed her hand, and said in panic, "If you break it, I don't have the money to pay for it."

Karenina was a little surprised when she heard what I said: "Don't you still have a lot of money? How come you have no money?"

I panicked for a moment, then made up an excuse: "Well, even though we have a lot of money, we can't waste it. We're just here to try it on."

Karenina: "I see. I'm just a little curious."

Liv looked at the wedding dresses and said, "They are indeed beautiful."

At this time, the staff came to greet us: "Excuse me, are you here to try on wedding dresses?"

Me: “Yeah, just for the experience.”

The staff lady said: "Just please allow us to take pictures while you are trying on the wedding dress, and please agree that we can exhibit these photos."

Lucia said to me, "Commander, this is a pretty good deal, right?"

I shook the staff lady's hand and said, "Excuse me, do you have any clothes for the groom? I'd like to try them out first."

The staff lady smiled and said, "Of course, may I ask which of the three people behind you are your lover?"

Karenina cried, "We all are."

The entire bridal shop staff looked over here, and I quickly explained: "That's the situation. Do you think this will work?"

The lady calmed down and said, "Of course I can, but you're playing three women at once."

I touched my head and said, "That's not necessarily the case. Maybe more in the future."

The lady tilted her head: "Huh?"

I quickly replied, "That's the situation. If it works, then let's do it."

The lady smiled bitterly and said, "Well, young man, you are amazing! It's hard for men to find a woman in the residential area, but you can still have three."

I said awkwardly, "I'm from the headquarters combat team. They are my team members. They are all constructs."

Miss: "Anyway? You can do it."

At this time, another lady came and took Lucia and the others into a room, and I followed the staff into another room.

Karenina said happily: "Commander, I will become very beautiful."

Lucia: "Me too, Commander."

Liv just turned back and smiled at me.

I pulled Li: "Li, be my best man."

Li was a little speechless: "Why do you still need me? Is it necessary to go through so much trouble?" Li could only follow me in helplessly.

The staff member took my measurements and asked, "Are you from the Hanging Gardens unit?"

Me: "Yeah, the Grey Crow Squad."

The staff member smiled and said, "I know. It's the one who danced at that conference."

I begged, "Please spare me. Why does it feel like everyone remembers this?"

The staff member who was looking for clothes in the cupboard said, "When the conference was live, it made our community laugh all day. We were so busy every day, and it was so hard to have a funny thing."

Me: “I see!”

The staff member, holding a white suit in his hand, asked: "Do you really like your three teammates?"

I said confidently, "Of course. We've both been through life and death, and our relationship is already tightly connected."

The staff member handed the suit to me and said, "That's right! But you can probably tell that almost everyone in this neighborhood has become numb and casual about love."

I asked curiously in my suit, "Is that so?"

The staff member measured her and said, "Yes, it's not just a problem of a lack of women. Today is mainly a work day, and many people don't have a day off. Many people came to our place to make trouble before."

I asked curiously, "What are they doing?"

The staff member said angrily: "They said there is no love in this world, threw the wedding dress they bought in front of our store, and cursed their cheap marriage. It's disgusting. If they want to do that kind of thing, can't they just go to a fucking brothel? And then throw it away after having fun. What's the point?"

I remained silent.

Staff: "Do you know why there is a glass on the second floor of the church?"

I speculated, "Is it to prevent some psychopaths from doing something outrageous?"

Staff: "Yes, we've had two accidents here. The first one was when someone shot and killed a newlywed couple with a pistol. We started installing glass from that time. The second one was when one of the newlyweds' relatives shot and killed the man."

I was surprised: "Damn, is it really that awesome?"

The staff member sighed, "In this kind of world, anything that happens is not surprising. Seeing others truly loving each other makes me jealous."

We were almost dressed, and the staff took us to the photographer: "You guys wait here first, the bride will probably take a long time to change into her wedding dress."
