Wen Qiao was very pleased with what Su Mei said to her today, as it at least reassured her that she had made the right decision to hire Su Mei as her nanny.
But Su Mei asked her for help.
Wen Qiao did not agree immediately.

"What did Sister Su say to you? Why did she stay inside for so long?"
"She didn't say anything inappropriate, did she?"
Wen Qiao chuckled as she watched Shen Jichuan become increasingly nervous as he spoke.
"She was just chatting with me casually, why are you so nervous? Did Sister Su say something to you in private?"
"No!" Shen Jichuan retorted too quickly, then said softly, "Xiao Qiao, I'm afraid you're overthinking it, or maybe Mom said something to you. You're still in your postpartum period, so I'm afraid you'll overthink it too."
Wen Qiao keenly noticed something.

Shen Jichuan hesitated for a moment, but did not hide anything from Wen Qiao. He felt that couples should be honest with each other, communicate as much as possible, and reduce the occurrence of conflicts.
