225: Wen Qiao takes her child back to China (1/2)

After Feng Yan left, Wen Qiao lived in fear for a while, afraid that people would discover the traces of Feng Yan coming to see her.

Fortunately, everything is safe and sound.

Later, she did inquire about Feng Yan, especially paying attention to the sections about Chinese people in the city newspapers.

Having seen several reports of the authorities slandering and belittling Chinese people, Wen Qiao felt indignant but did not take the lead.

She has been quietly taking care of her three children while they receive treatment abroad.

When her third child was three years old, Wen Qiao finally made up her mind that she had to take the child back to China.

Wen Qiao returned to Beicheng directly from abroad.

Before returning, she naturally called the Huo family and made sure everything in the Huo family apartment was tidied up.

The Huo family hired someone overseas to manage that apartment.

Wen Qiao just needs to hand the key to the person in charge.

When she arrived in Beicheng, she didn't specifically ask her family to pick her up.

But Huo Dongqing still drove Huo Yan to pick up Wen Qiao.

"Sister Wen Qiao, it's been a long time! You've grown even more beautiful."

Looking at the sweet-talking Huo Yan, Wen Qiao smiled and said, "You've grown quite a bit taller and more handsome. How's your health? You look much better."

"It's alright, it'll do."

Wen Qiao smiled and looked at Huo Dongqing.

"Hello, Dr. Huo."

Huo Dongqing reached out and took the suitcase from Wen Qiao, saying, "Welcome back to China."

The little three children following behind Wen Qiao had two pigtails, wore a white dress and pretty little leather shoes. When they looked at Huo Dongqing and Huo Yan, their eyes were timid and they seemed very shy. Their little hands tightly gripped the hem of Wen Qiao's clothes.

Wen Qiao held her daughter's hand in one hand.

She bent down slightly and said softly, "Lianlian, this is Uncle Huo and the young man from the Huo family."

Huo Yan's gaze fell on Xiao Sanbao.

"Lianlian has grown up so much, she changes so fast."

"Hello Lianlian, my name is Huo Yan."

Xiao Sanbao nodded without speaking, his eyes filled with wariness.

Wen Qiao explained, "The child is a bit timid and shy around strangers."

"It's okay, you'll get used to it later."

Huo Dongqing looked at Huo Yan, the brat who had interrupted him.

"Quite talkative," Huo Dongqing said with a snort after glancing at his nephew.

Huo Yan grinned.

"What I said makes a lot of sense."

Wen Qiao was telling her daughter to call them "uncle" and "brother," and the little girl just nodded. Wen Qiao looked at her daughter and felt a pang of helplessness, but as long as her child got better, that was all that mattered.

She doesn't have many requirements regarding whether someone is introverted or extroverted.

After getting into the car, Huo Dongqing asked, "Do you have a place to stay?"

Huo Dongqing knew that Wen Qiao and Shen Jichuan had divorced. When he asked Wen Qiao, he meant whether she wanted to find a place to live on her own or go to live with the Shen family.

Wen Qiao and Shen Jichuan did divorce, but wasn't that to pay for their child's medical treatment?

Now that the child is better, she's bringing the child back, so naturally she's going to return to the Shen family.

"Let's go back to the Shen family home first. My mom and the two kids are definitely waiting for us there."

After deciding to return, Wen Qiao sent a telegram to her mother, without specifying a time, but saying that she would be returning home soon.

Wen Qiao didn't want to give her mother and child a so-called surprise by waiting until she got home to tell them.

To avoid worrying them, Wen Qiao wrote to inform them in advance.
