253: Old Wu is in a good mood (1/2)

Shen Jichuan looked at Old Wu with surprise.

That old man is quite cunning.

Wen Qiao glanced at Shen Jichuan?

What former son-in-law?

When did he say such a thing to her mother?

Shen Jichuan definitely didn't tell Wen Qiao; he deliberately said Old Wu's words in front of his mother-in-law.

However, now that Shen Jichuan has achieved his goal, no matter how much Old Wu complains, he and Wen Qiao have already remarried.

But this old Wu hasn't married his mother-in-law yet.

And there are things he's anxiously waiting for.

Lu Yazhi was still angry with Old Wu. She married Old Wu hoping he would help her son-in-law and daughter, but who knew he would resort to such underhanded tactics.

Her son-in-law and daughter have remarried, and her anger has mostly subsided.

They just couldn't bring themselves to lower their guard and were thinking of taking advantage of Old Wu.

He then called Wen Qiao and went straight back to the house to prepare lunch.

Shen Jichuan offered Commander Wu a cigarette, and the two talked as they entered the courtyard.

"Old boss, my mother-in-law is still angry. Your road to winning her back is long and arduous..."

Upon hearing this, Commander Wu immediately stopped.

He then said, "Xiao Shen, we'll be father-in-law and son-in-law in the future. Although you're in a high position now and don't need my help, I'm still one rank higher than you. So, if you help me now, I promise I'll stand by you when you encounter trouble in the future."

Shen Jichuan said those words on purpose.

I didn't expect Wu Yongliang to take it seriously, and he seemed quite anxious.

Shen Jichuan coughed deliberately and said, "Alright, I'll talk to my mother-in-law about it privately. This is definitely going to work out."

"Good son-in-law," Wu Yongliang said directly.

Shen Jichuan replied quite seriously.

"Old leader, Father Ying, you also have to give him a change of address fee."

Wu Yongliang laughed and said, "Yes, we definitely have to give it to you."

As he walked forward, he turned back to look at Shen Jichuan and added, "You need to speak well of me to your mother-in-law. You'll get plenty of benefits after we get married."

After saying that, Old Wu went to the Shen family's living room, which felt as familiar as if he were back in his own home.

Looking at Da Bao and Er Bao, he even called them "eldest grandson" and "second grandson" in a very familiar way.

Shen Jichuan even doubted whether Wu Yongliang would be so enthusiastic with his grandson at home.

However, Shen Jichuan did what he was supposed to do, as he had promised Old Wu.

Lunch was prepared by Wen Qiao and Lü Yazhi together.

The nanny was watching the three children in the living room.

The Shen family has many children, but they are easy to take care of.

Perhaps because rules were established from a young age, Da Bao and Er Bao listened to Shen Jichuan very much.

Dad's word was law, and they dared not contradict him.

Sometimes Wen Qiao even felt that Shen Jichuan was too serious.

Seeing that the two children weren't in a bad mood, Wen Qiao thought that perhaps boys were more suitable to be taught by their fathers.

Wen Qiao played a supporting role in raising her son.

When it comes to raising his daughter, Shen Jichuan listens entirely to Wen Qiao. In fact, Shen Jichuan dotes on his third daughter even more than Wen Qiao does.

Steamed crab, braised prawns, sweet and sour spare ribs, tender and delicious braised pork, steamed egg with minced meat, spicy stir-fried cabbage, braised chicken pieces, cucumber salad, and bamboo shoots in chili oil.

When Wen Qiao placed the dishes on the table, she glanced at Wu Yongliang, who was sitting on the sofa talking to Shen Jichuan.

"Uncle Wu, please wash your hands. Let's start eating."

Wu Yongliang got up even faster than Shen Jichuan.

She immediately got up and said, "Xiao Qiao, don't bother, I'll go get the dishes."

Wen Qiao smiled and looked at Shen Jichuan.
