Chapter 179: Seeing a Ghost

Liu San and the masked man left quickly.

Obviously, Liu San agreed to investigate Jiang Bin, and the two of them had discussed it.

Looking at the direction the two people left, Su Lijin's frown did not relax.

"Who is that masked man?" she thought to herself.

Originally, everyone thought that Xiao Zhaolin had directly killed Ye Shuyin, but it seemed that Liu San also played a role in it.

She didn't know what role Liu San played in Ye Shuyin's death.

Could it be that the masked man was sent by Xiao Zhaolin?

Su Lijin couldn't help but guess that the only person she could think of who wanted to deal with Ye Shuyin and put her to death was Xiao Zhaolin.

"But, they actually want to investigate Jiang Bin?" Su Lijin raised her eyebrows.

Did her fabricated identity actually attract other people's attention?

Thinking of the masked man's comments about the queen just now, calling her a fool, the corners of her mouth drooped in dissatisfaction.

"You are the idiots!"

After cursing fiercely at the alley, Su Lijin walked towards the river.

She returned to Xiao Shengxing and was about to call him, but was suddenly shocked by Xiao Shengxing at this moment.

The last rosy glow in the sky shone on the lake, creating a dazzling spectacle.

In this beautiful scenery, Xiao Shengxing, dressed in black casual clothes and with cold and indifferent eyes, stood by the lake with his hands behind his back.

His tall and slender body was stained with a halo by the lake light, and his eyebrows and eyes were also shining, as if he was a noble young man who was independent of the world, making people unable to take their eyes off him.

Su Lijin's heart couldn't help but beat faster.

"You're here." Noticing her gaze, Xiao Shengxing turned around and smiled faintly.

This smile made Su Lijin's heart beat faster.

She quickly coughed lightly to suppress her frantic heartbeat and conceal the momentary fascination that could not be hidden in her eyes: "Your Majesty, let's get on the boat."

Xiao Shengxing looked at her, taking in her panicked expression. His dark eyes flickered slightly, and he curled his lips as he stretched out his hand, leading her onto the flower boat.

On the shore, people were surging, and people were constantly walking towards the lake. The street lights were lit early, and the scene was full of joy and peace.

In such a joyful atmosphere, Jiang Su also had a smile on his face.

He looked at the bustling Flower Festival and then at the lake, not knowing what he was thinking.

"Jiang Su, you're here? I've been looking for you for a long time!"

A voice said breathlessly.

Jiang Su turned around and looked at Liu San in surprise: "Captain Liu, are you looking for me?"

"Hey, it's not me, could it be Jiang Bin looking for you?" Liu San said deliberately.

As he spoke, he patted Jiang Su's shoulder in a familiar manner and asked, "Where is your brother Jiang Bin? Why didn't he come to watch the Flower Festival with you?"

Jiang Su thought of Jiang Bin, and his expression relaxed. He said, "Maybe he has something to do. Besides, we two grown men don't need to watch the Flower Festival together."

Liu San stared at his face and suddenly asked, "By the way, who is this Jiang Bin? Do you know his background?"

Hearing this, Jiang Su was a little puzzled: "Why are you suddenly asking about this?"

"I'm just curious, so I want to ask. We both worked in the Dali Temple, so we are friends." Liu San said with a fake smile.

Hearing him treat Jiang Bin as a friend, Jiang Su's face showed embarrassment. Liu San was not friendly to Jiang Bin before.

But he still chose to answer his question, saying, "I don't know Jiang Bin's background either. I only know that he got the Queen's order to help with the case."

"You don't know either?" Liu San looked at him, as if judging the credibility of his words.

What the two said by the lake happened to be heard by Su Lijin on the flower boat.

She looked at Liu San and suddenly an idea came to her mind.

Since Liu San was asking about her, she might as well use a trick to deceive Liu San and see if she could get something out of him.

This is a good opportunity.

Thinking of this, she saw Xiao Shengxing going to the bow of the ship. After thinking about it, she quietly flew to the shore from the stern.

Liu San pulled Jiang Su back to the Dali Temple not far away, as if he wanted to get more information.

Su Lijin went into an alley and when she came out, she looked very different.

"Jiang Su, think about it again. You are so familiar with Jiang Bin, is there anything you missed?"

Liu San asked.

Jiang Su was about to shake his head when suddenly, the lights in their room went out!

The two were stunned. Liu San stood up to take the tinder to light the lamp again, but suddenly a white shadow appeared in front of him. It was pale and eerie, and a pair of eyes stared at him sinisterly.

"Liu San, my Ye Shuyin died so tragically, give me your life!" The voice came with a cold air.

"Ah! Ghost!"

Liu San opened his eyes wide, screamed, and then fainted.

Jiang Su turned around and suddenly saw the pale ghost. His eyes rolled back and he fainted with fright.

Bai Ying jumped down from the air, looked at the two people who had fainted on the ground, and rolled his eyes speechlessly.

The white shadow was Su Lijin. She was wearing a white cloth at the moment, and she looked just like Ye Shuyin, who was covered with a white cloth after her death. It was chilling.

She just wanted to scare Liu San, but she didn't expect Liu San to faint from fright.

What was even more unexpected was that Jiang Su was also frightened and fainted...

Su Lijin woke Liu San up and patted his face.

Liu San woke up and saw her pale face. He was so scared that he cried out in fear again: "Don't look for me, Miss Ye, you have your grievances and your debts to your creditors. Find someone else!"

Su Lijin threatened in a cold and mournful voice, "Liu San, I died so unjustly. Tell me the truth quickly, or I won't let you go even if I become a ghost!"

Her threat was filled with a chilling coldness. Liu San felt as if he was haunted by an evil spirit. He was so frightened that he peed himself and knelt down to kowtow: "Ms. Ye, I'm telling you, the person who hurt you is..."
