Chapter 196: Dalai Lama's Assassination

"How dare you insult us?!" The Dalai Lama felt extremely humiliated and his neck became thick with anger.

"This palace master is telling the truth. You Mongols are so shameless that you actually want to have a fake peace negotiation here!"

"What, fake peace talks?"

When these words were heard, everyone in Liang State was shocked.

"Dalai, is what she said true? You Mongols don't want to negotiate peace at all?"

Xiao Shengxing's eyes darkened slightly as he looked at the Dalai Lama. There was pressure in his eyes, which made the Dalai Lama feel so guilty that he could hardly hold on.

Xiao Zhaolin looked at Su Lijin in surprise. He didn't expect that this palace master actually knew their intentions!

But things had come to this point and there was no time to wait. He made a gesture and the Dalai Lama's eyes flashed.

"Archers, shoot all the Liang army and this palace master to death!" The Dalai Lama shouted with a smug look on his face.

"Oh no, there's an ambush!"

Everyone in Liang State was horrified and looked around hurriedly, protecting Xiao Shengxing.

Xiao Shengxing glanced around and then looked at the Palace Master. After thinking for a moment, a barely perceptible smile appeared in his dark eyes.

"The archer has been dealt with by my people, so don't wait."

Su Lijin's voice was mocking.

The Dalai Lama was so angry that he almost vomited blood. Obviously, what the palace master said was true.

Xiao Zhaolin's face darkened and he stared at her.

Xiao Shengxing watched the Palace Master's performance and felt amused. He could not mistake the smell in the air; it was the smell of Su Lijin.

He stepped forward and thanked her: "This is my first time meeting the Palace Master, and yet you have given me such a generous gift. I am truly grateful."

Su Lijin faced him, but before she could say anything, Xiao Zhaolin on the side immediately advised, "Your Majesty, this man's origins are unknown, and I'm afraid he's a fraud. It's better to kill him first to avoid any trouble!"

He didn't expect that such a good opportunity would be interrupted by the Palace Master, and he wanted to kill this person immediately.

As soon as he finished speaking, a sword was placed on his neck.

Su Lijin's eyes were indifferent and she gripped her sword tightly.
