The apprentice looked at Su Lijin with disdain and said provocatively, "I am the best Chinese medicine apprentice in our clinic. If you have the guts, challenge me now. Otherwise, kneel down and apologize immediately!"
Su Lijin raised an eyebrow. Seeing that he was unusually confident and provocative, she curled her lips and said, "Okay, let's compete. I also want to see how good your medical skills are. Let me see how good you are."
The last sentence made the apprentice even more angry, and the anger in his eyes almost ignited.
He chuckled angrily and immediately pointed at the two patients beside him and said, "Treat one each, start now."
Su Lijin walked up to one of the patients very calmly and began to observe, listen, ask and feel the patient's condition.
The apprentice glanced at her, snorted disdainfully, and went on to deal with the patient in front of him.
Everyone watched as the two began their healing competition, all very curious.
They looked at Su Lijin, their hearts beating fast.
"Is this female doctor really capable?"
"I think it's a close call. The apprentice at the clinic has real skills. I'm afraid she was just bragging."
Su Lijin ignored the noises and focused on treating the patients.
The patient she was in charge of had eye discomfort. After diagnosis and treatment, she gave the patient a few needles on several acupuncture points and then applied some herbs on the patient's eyes.
In just a cup of tea, the patient's eyesight was mostly restored after he took off the herbs.
"It's amazing! I can actually see clearly!"
The apprentice beside him looked even uglier.
He was puzzled by the condition of the patient in front of him, and when he heard that the other party had succeeded, he felt even more annoyed.
"Okay, now that I've healed, but yours doesn't seem to be successful yet, we should know who's winning and who's losing, right?"
Su Lijin raised her eyebrows.
"Yours is so simple, I can cure it if I go and treat it. It's not like the one in front of me is so difficult, it's not fair at all!"
The apprentice just made an excuse.
"Oh, what if I cured you?"
"How is that possible?"
Su Lijin looked at him and laughed: "Then I'll show you if it's possible."
Before she finished speaking, the silver needle in her hand flashed, and she used some unknown method to drop it on the patient.
The bleeding of this patient, who was oozing pus and blood, actually stopped.
Su Lijin pricked a few more times, and the pus was squeezed out. The pus-filled areas of the wound had obviously improved and were no longer so disgusting.
Grabbing a packet of herbs, she said, "Your legs can move now. Apply this medicine daily along with the medicine I'll prescribe later, and you'll be able to walk normally again."
The patient took a few steps and was so surprised that tears welled up in his eyes: "I can finally walk again. I haven't dared to walk for three years..."
With this move, the apprentice felt a sharp pain on his cheek from being hit invisibly.
