He looked at the characters inside; they were square and neat, quite pretty, but strange, and he couldn't make out what they were.
Zhao Dashu slapped him on the forehead and said irritably, "Of course it's for printing soap. Didn't you see the character 'Jiang' is reversed? The handwriting is nice too. It must be Cijian's handwriting."
He looked at Lu Cijian, who was writing something at a table to the side, with a grin.
Lu Cijian didn't even raise his head, and said indifferently, "You haven't been studying properly with Scholar Zhang these past few days, have you?"
Zhao Dashu choked, looked up and met Jiang Yimian's unfriendly gaze. He immediately grabbed the two brothers who were still standing there, said "Let's continue moving things," and ran away as fast as he could.
Jiang Yimian said with some dissatisfaction, "You knew all along that they hadn't been studying properly these past few days, why didn't you tell me?"
It's also her fault for being so focused on the workshop lately that she forgot to urge the three brothers to learn to read.
That person was really something; they should have known better than to tell her secretly.
Lu Cijian looked somewhat innocent and put down his brush before saying, "Mianmian has misunderstood. I had no idea."
Jiang Yimian glared at him, too lazy to pay attention, and her gaze fell on the amount of money needed for various tables, chairs, and cookware recorded on the paper. She said with satisfaction, "Now it's clear."
Just then, Zhao Dashu came running back in a flurry, his face beaming with joy and excitement.
"Sister Mian, come quick! There's a huge crowd gathered in front of the Li family's house. It looks like something happened."
Jiang Yimian raised an eyebrow, not expecting so many talented people to come, but it's not too late now.
She just smiled and said, "Let's go see what's going on."
