He kept talking while his hands kept moving.

The young woman's voice was cheerful, with a hint of teasing, as if she were genuinely thinking about something.

Jiang Yimian was taken aback, and it took her a while to realize that this person was just teasing her, deliberately watching her blush and lose her focus. She was immediately a little dissatisfied, but then she noticed the young man's ears were turning red.
She just found it funny; how could she flirt with her and then feel shy herself?
Lu Cijian coughed lightly and said seriously, "The situation with the bandits has changed. I'll take the city guards with me. I'll leave the Xiliang people to you."
Jiang Yimian quickly stepped out of his embrace, frowning as she asked, "What's going on? And why do you insist that Lin Yan'an go to the small fishing village?"
