Author's Closing Remarks

Author's Closing Remarks

As you can see, "The Bureau of Abnormal Population Control" has reached its conclusion today.

As the saying goes, the basic pattern for an opening is to first suppress and then elevate, but for this book... I really can't find any elevating points, so I'll just say it's all suppressing.

In summary, the story of He Yu and 659 continues, but I simply lack the ability to finish telling it.

So, you know what I mean?

Because it used too many elements and had an extremely complex and difficult-to-understand plot with disjointed leaps in the narrative, this book barely made it to its second run before it was essentially defunct. I received many recommendations from other readers, but they didn't help much and failed to attract more fans to my story.

For me personally, the fact that the average subscription rate for "Abnormal Population Control Bureau" increased from 20 to 30 is something to celebrate.

For most people, they might have already started preparing to use the Impure World Reincarnation technique by the time they reached 300,000 words. However, I don't really have the habit of abandoning stories, so I simply gritted my teeth and wrote up to 800,000 words, ending the story at a point that's neither too many nor too few.

Otherwise, why would I have written about the person behind the scenes in such a tragic way?

Finally, I'd like to mention that the new book is currently in the preparation stage. Including the time for revisions and internal submissions, it should be ready in about a week, ten days, or half a month.

I've already decided on the theme for my next book: a dark story with a Cthulhu-esque feel reminiscent of American TV dramas. Stay tuned!

The three expressed their gratitude.
