He took a breath, his eyes filled with a dark, murderous intent. He knew he had to continue; there was no way to stop. He had to keep going until the higher-ups were satisfied.
"Li Lin," the man suddenly said softly.
"Let's run away." He hesitated for a moment, then blurted out these words almost without thinking.
"Stop dreaming... What I meant was that those drugs had something added to them, something like a substance that amplifies the senses," Yu Jianchu said.
She looked at him, the blades still embedded in his body, the cut surface of his severed finger beginning to fester and fester, the pain intensifying, giving him no chance to catch his breath, and his eyes remaining unfocused for a long time.
She continued, "The drug is too strong. It must have been mixed with some illegal substances, the kind that makes people mentally unstable. I estimate I'll break down very soon."
She looked into Li Lin's eyes, which focused for a moment before immediately losing focus, and then she repeated the previous step, as if reality had merged with illusion. Through the cold gaze, she could see no hope, only a hell that could chew people up and swallow them whole.
Yu Jianchu forced herself to calm down. A moment would be enough. She controlled her breathing and saw that Li Lin was still calm, without any resentment or malice, as if he were still the most capable subordinate and a trustworthy person.
“That potion is probably a product of some forbidden substance… I’ve heard them say that no one can withstand that stuff, let alone someone like me whose special abilities have been extracted. It probably amplifies pain a hundredfold and triggers dark memories or something. I won’t be able to hold on; I’ll have a mental breakdown within five minutes.” She continued, her tone relatively calm: “I don’t know what will happen after that…”
Yu Jianchu paused, then suddenly vomited a mouthful of blood, which splattered all over the other person's face.
She swallowed hard, then continued speaking, her expression making Li Lin feel like a fire was burning in his head.
"I'm probably not of much use in this raid, so you take care of the rest... Please help me, you have to end this, okay?"
"Try to... get in touch with Yu Yu. The 602 toxin is still in He Yu's body. Let's use it as a trump card... Anyway, she decided to detonate it. Those two lunatics won't stop until they turn the world upside down."
"Tell her that this matter has to be resolved eventually, and I don't want to owe her any favors, so I'll just have to accept whatever comes my way. Ha... This is fucking annoying."
"It has to be this bitch's own sister. If it were someone else..."
She couldn't finish her sentence; her blood rushed to her head, and she felt like she was suffocating.
Li Lin stared blankly at Yu Jianchu and said.
"good."
A hint of relief mixed with sadness flickered in her eyes, like a starlight shining in the abyss—it shone briefly, but would soon be extinguished completely.
"Don't stop, speed up, you don't want to do it all over again."
"Now it's the liver's turn, let's continue."
Like a puppet on strings, he obeyed the voice's commands and continued the horrific dismemberment.
In this bloody nightmare, Li Lin had no idea how much time had passed—perhaps only a few seconds, or maybe several hours.
When he realized what Yu Jianchu was saying, he found that he could no longer hear her clearly, and then he quickly discovered the reason—she could no longer speak in complete sentences, her will was shattered, and she kept making indistinct sobs.
The torment continued.
Not long after, he heard her crying and calling "Mom," repeatedly begging her not to die. At this point, she no longer knew what she was saying; her language was illogical, but she just couldn't stop and couldn't control herself.
It felt like the pain was at its peak.
His boss, the perfect C01, finally broke down, repeatedly calling out the names of the rotting souls already thrown into hell, weeping on the rack, utterly devoid of dignity.
Another slash.
She cried out, almost trembling.
Yu Jianchu had lost all reason, her voice filled with hysterical, desperate sobs, trembling with fear and cowardice, yet desperately hoping for some mercy from her abuser. She had become a mangled, bloody mess, yet she was still being forced to extract blood.
"Mom... Sister." She was already delirious, crying like an unwanted child, "I can't... I can't... keep going... It hurts so much... Mom."
The most heart-wrenching pleas and the subtle sounds of her body being cut open intertwined, a mixture of collapse and redemption.
"Please..." she cried, completely lost, "It hurts so much, it really hurts so much... I want to go home... go home."
The voice carried only despair; it was as if even the slightest force would shatter a person with a "bang."
But in reality, she was already broken.
In the end, Yu Jianchu's demands were not met; everyone would die, decay, and become filthy before her eyes.
The perpetrators... just watched with interest, just like years ago, leaving the poor child alone in this hell.
Li Lin remained expressionless as he continued this nightmarish torture.
This was like an atrocity, a dismemberment. The killer was steady, cold-blooded, and ruthless, maintaining a steady rhythm and a viciously purposeful intent. Only someone who has lost a part of their soul and experienced the most agonizing dismemberment could possess such terrifying rationality and cold-blooded calculation.
The light in the manor flickered, as if it had been pinched shut by some force, and it became much darker, instantly making the room feel much more terrifying.
The programs arranged by the higher-ups have not stopped.
No one spoke, and no one stopped them.
He heard someone say, "It looks like it's dead?" and someone else quickly added, "Shoot that thing in, we haven't seen enough yet."
