The three of them fell to the ground at the same time. The neutralizing force field that Pandora maintained around her seemed to still be in operation, but Carlos could vaguely see countless white lights still moving around - which meant that the force field was damaged and was now breaking. It even emitted a slight electrical malfunction sound.
The girl's face finally turned somewhat pale, and she looked around incredulously—let's just say that for now—as she saw Carlos struggling to walk towards her, she took a step back uncertainly, the scattered shards beside her scraping against each other with the movement.

His legs buckled, and he couldn't help but spit out a large pool of blood mixed with shattered organs. His hands were also covered in blood. The aftershocks of the explosion were enough to give him a hard time, and the situation was far from good.
Carlos, panting, struggled to his feet. Pandora glanced at him blankly, seemingly unconcerned. Perhaps she had taken something strong earlier; her eyes were filled with confusion and madness.
The neutralizing force field was completely destroyed, and after a few crackling sounds, it went silent. She stared at herself, then suddenly regained her senses and laughed loudly, saying, "What a bunch of idiots... We came here on purpose to die."
"You've fallen for their trap."
