She watched as the men carefully cleaned her fiancé's wounds and injected him with stabilizing medication. Someone then took out a syringe, and a group of operatives made a symbolic gesture of obstruction. One of them asked, "Stop, what is this thing?"
“Ah, the Reshaping Potion.” The other person paused, explained, then shrank back under Sheen’s gaze, and put the thing back. “Okay, it’s not impossible to fight it again when we get back.”
“What he needs most right now is rest,” she said without compromise.
The other person looked at her, then at Ethan, raised his hand, gently placed it on Sheehan's shoulder, sighed, and said to him, "I'm sorry, I really am very tired."
The group of people looked at the two of them and suddenly fell silent.
A few seconds later, a well-dressed executive suddenly said, "Then let's listen to these two loving people. We won't need to go through the other testing procedures for now. We do have some questions for him, and we know he's not doing well right now... but it would be too much of a mood killer to talk about it now, haha, but sometimes we're just like that... idiots."
As he spoke, the nobleman gave them another smile and said in a strange tone, "My God, I'm about to cry. I wish you happiness."
Sheen felt a little awkward, realizing that the problem was that he couldn't kill anyone at this moment. The other party wasn't some weakling who could be killed easily, so he chose to hold back and gave Ethan a somewhat sad smile.
“I think Eoubs definitely sees us as some kind of cash cow, so they can attract more people,” she said softly. “However, I’ve never been moved by anything here. After all, what we’re experiencing is just a game of capital. Emotions are just toys for their daily entertainment. Control missions are nothing more than retrieving valuable forbidden items.
