He Yu walked back to the shrub and made the same gesture he had made a few seconds earlier as he was about to release the berries. He felt that this brief and boring killing was as if it hadn't even started before it was over.
There was a bit of blood on his collar, which looked particularly conspicuous, but he still wiped it off nonchalantly with a handkerchief, since he would change it after this was all over.

"Because you've spoiled these idiots too much," He Yu said calmly upon seeing the visitor.
"Yeah, there was traffic on the way, so I was a little late. Sorry," Li Lin said with a smile. "Oh, right, I was thinking of pretending to throw in Yu Yu's template, but who would believe that?"
"I sent her to kill Heber, she should be almost done by now," He Yu said nonchalantly, taking a bite of a berry.
The other person paused for a moment, thought about it carefully, and then let out a meaningful "Ah".

Without any warning, He Yu asked this question.

He Yu looked at him, then at the fruit tree, and chuckled. He walked up to the man and patted his shoulder forcefully, his laughter growing increasingly exaggerated until he was speechless for a while.
“I just remembered something,” he said, his tone so sincere, “When we first met, I was thinking—”
