Everyone else was completely baffled by what was happening, but only the person involved knew: when Roy reached out and patted his shoulder, he slightly bypassed the data level and pulled his entire soul into those hundred parallel worlds for a "friendly exploration." In less than a second, he had completely shattered the man's past understanding of the connection between the operative and the taboo.
"As a junior, you should maintain a respectful and admiring attitude towards a senior like me." As Roy said this, his hand was still lightly on his adjutant's shoulder, and he said in a tone of disappointment, "Don't think that just because you have a few ACE forbidden substances implanted in your body, you are invincible."
He thought for a moment, as if recalling some past events, and continued, "You know, I've seen several B-level operatives like you thrown into the shredder, and countless others who died in the second fluctuation layer and were played with like livestock by forbidden objects. Do you think you're so great? Stop being so arrogant in the future. Learn how to be a good person, and you'll live longer."
Only after saying this did he slowly remove his hand from the other person's shoulder.
"And you, you bastard."
A few seconds later, Roy approached the person in charge and, in an unquestionable and commanding tone, uttered a sentence that no one present could forget.
"Get out of the meeting room before I start killing your whole family."
