July 12, 3:00 p.m., Dongcheng Cinema.
"I'm sorry, this is all my fault."
"I hurt you, but I still want to say..."
"I love you, regardless of gender, as long as it's you."
On the huge movie screen, the male protagonist said this last sentence and turned around without hesitation, and the ending music of the movie sounded the next second.
The music is very calm, without any ripples, but it makes people feel an inexplicable faint sadness.
Mo Jingchun and Jiang Li were sitting in the third row in the middle of the theater. They held hands and watched the gradually dimming movie screen in front of them quietly.
This is a very alternative movie. It is alternative because the view of love it expresses is different from the secular one.
The story is very simple, it tells the love story of two boys. The ending is also very sad, they still can't be together in the end.
Everything seemed to have been answered at the very beginning of the movie, but the two people who were deeply involved refused to give up, so a series of events happened afterwards.
But in the end, the story inevitably leads to its sad ending.
Yes, maybe they shouldn't have met in the first place, and there wouldn't have been so much pain later.
Mo Jingchun glanced at Jiang Li beside him. It was she who brought him to see this movie.
Mo Jingchun was not actually interested in the movie, he just came because he could accompany Jiang Li.
The courses in the third year are not too busy, and there is free time almost every day.
The movie was over and people around started to get up and leave, and the theater had already dimmed.
"Jiang Li, let's go."
Mo Jingchun stood up, still holding Jiang Li's hand with his other hand.
He pulled gently, but Jiang Li did not stand up immediately. Mo Jingchun looked at Jiang Li. At this moment, half of her face was illuminated by a white light, and the other half cast a faint shadow, making it difficult to see clearly.
Her expression was complicated, with an indescribable feeling.
"Jiang Li?"
Mo Jingchun called her softly again.
"Ah," Jiang Li seemed to be still immersed in the plot of the movie. She exclaimed slightly and stood up from her seat.
"let's go."
…………
The two walked out of the dimly lit cinema and came to the bright shopping mall outside.
Jiang Li didn't say anything, but just let Mo Jingchun hold his hand and walk forward quietly.
"Jiang Li, what's wrong with you?" Mo Jingchun moved closer to Jiang Li and looked into her eyes with some concern.
"What could happen to me? Don't worry about it."
Jiang Li waved his hand and pushed Mo Jingchun away.
"But I always feel like you have something to say to me." Mo Jingchun shook his head and approached Jiang Li with a pitiful expression.
"There are a lot of people around, stop making noise."
Jiang Li still reached out and pushed Mo Jingchun away.
"Then tell me quickly, what are you thinking about now?"
"I……"
After hesitating for a while, Jiang Li pulled Mo Jingchun towards the elevator handrail, came to the first floor of the mall and walked outside.
"I actually just wanted to ask, what are your thoughts on the movie you just watched?"
"That movie?" Mo Jingchun scratched the back of his head. "It's about the same. Actually, I don't particularly like watching movies."
"I want to ask, what do you think about this kind of subject matter?" Jiang Li's voice suddenly rose and his tone became hurried.
"view?"
Mo Jingchun shook his head and expressed his most intuitive thoughts. "I don't understand this, but I respect it. After all, everyone is an independent individual. If they can fall in love, there must be a reason for it."
"So... is this what you think?" Jiang Li's eyes were slightly dazed, and he said in a daze.
"Jiang Li, don't worry. I will always only like you as a girl." Mo Jingchun obviously misunderstood. He hugged Jiang Li's shoulders, trying to reassure her.
"It's okay. I believe you."
Jiang Li smiled reluctantly, and the two of them walked to the sidewalk on the other side of the mall.
…………
Jiang Li still had a class in the afternoon, so she said goodbye to Mo Jingchun and returned to Hangzhou University.
When class started, Jiang Li sat in the corner as usual, holding an ancient book full of poems.
"Red beans grow in the south..."
"Ten years of life and death, even without thinking about it, I can never forget it."
"The bright moon was there then, shining on the colorful clouds as they returned."
"Huh," Jiang Li was in a state of confusion. She could no longer sit quietly in the corner as before, listening to the class while reading the ancient poem in her hand.
So she closed the book, propped up her head, and looked at the professor on the podium in front of her.
She was thinking, maybe she was that red bean.
…………
In the evening, Jiang Li was sitting alone in the living room, touching the soft and delicate hair of the ginger beside him.
Jiang Li stuck out his tongue and smiled, trying to attract his owner's attention, but Jiang Li stared blankly ahead, not noticing him at all.
Mo Jingchun hasn't come back yet and it's already 11 o'clock in the evening.
“Crack.”
There was a sound of the door opening. Mo Jingchun pushed the door open and was stunned when he saw the light in the living room. He turned around and saw Jiang Li sitting on the sofa.
"Why haven't you slept yet? You don't have to wait for me." Mo Jingchun said to Jiang Li.
When Sheng Jiang saw his other owner coming back, he immediately jumped off the sofa and ran to Mo Jingchun, wagging his tail.
