About ten minutes later, there was a rustling noise coming from downstairs.
Mo Jingchun and Xu Fan huddled together, hiding in the corner upstairs, staring closely at the ground below.
After a while, a sneaky-looking man came to the place where they had made the noise.
Although the light was dim, Mo Jingchun could still see the black hat on his head at a glance. This was the man they had met in the bun shop before.
The man in the black hat walked upstairs but didn't find anything. He was a little confused and looked around, but there was no one else in the empty unfinished building.
Maybe he was thinking too much. The man in the black hat looked around and left.
Mo Jingchun, who was hiding in the corner, heard the man sigh and walked downstairs.
The two of them sat quietly on the stairs, not doing anything rash. Only after confirming that the man in the black hat had left the unfinished building did Mo Jingchun and the others take out their cell phones and call the police.

The person answering the phone was a young female police officer. After listening to Mo Jingchun and the others' description, she immediately reported to the police captain next to her.

Xu Fan nodded and followed Mo Jingchun downstairs.

Mo Jingchun suddenly reached out and grabbed Xu Fan's collar, pulling his school uniform towards him.

Mo Jingchun reacted quickly. The moment he saw the man in the black hat swinging the crowbar towards Xu Fan, he quickly took action and dragged him back.

The man in the black hat failed to hit the target, so he stopped hiding. He walked out from the shadows next to the unfinished building, holding a reddish-brown crowbar in his hand, with a ferocious look on his face.
Mo Jingchun helped Xu Fan up, and the two stood side by side. "Who are we..."
The two of them smiled at each other in tacit understanding, "We are the messengers of justice!"
"What's all this mess?"
The man in the black hat didn't pay any attention to what the two people said. Fortunately, he was careful and hid downstairs. He didn't expect that there was actually someone there.
Why were they looking for me? Was it a deliberate attempt to lure me out, or was it an accidental act? The man in the black hat was panicking. Ever since his accomplice was arrested, he'd been terrified that he, too, would be discovered by the police.
Thinking of this, the man in the black hat's eyes turned fierce. He had to leave here today, otherwise he would have no chance at all. Before that, he had to deal with the two students in school uniforms in front of him.
At least knock them all out with a club first.

Mo Jingchun threw down the iron rod in his hand, turned around, pulled Xu Fan up and ran out of the unfinished building.
"Don't run!"
When the man in the black hat saw the two people running away, he suddenly panicked. He didn't even bother to pick up the iron rod on the ground, but started chasing in the direction the two people fled.
Damn it, I shouldn't have come out to buy buns, so I wouldn't have revealed my whereabouts. The man in the black hat cursed himself in his heart, not noticing a pair of hands reaching out from the corner in front of him.
It turned out that Mo Jingchun and Xu Fan did not run away at all, but hid in the corner of another unfinished building, where they were quietly waiting for the man in the black hat.

Mo Jingchun took off the mask on his face, and sure enough, it looked exactly like the wanted poster on his phone.
The sound of sirens was heard in the distance. The man in the black hat became panicked after hearing the sound. He tried to struggle again but it was still useless.
"Here."
Mo Jingchun freed one hand and waved to several policemen who were walking into the unfinished building.
The policemen also rushed over immediately, took over the positions of the two men, pressed the man in the black hat tightly to the ground, and quickly took out handcuffs and handcuffed him.
After doing all this, he grabbed the man in the black hat from the ground, held his head down, and took everyone into the police car and returned to the police station.
