Chapter 19 Sunset

"Not curious."

Jiang Li didn't even raise his head. "Didn't you say we'd talk about it this afternoon?"

Okay, okay, Mo Jingchun has never met a girl like Jiang Li. He sat up straight again, pressed his chest and calmed himself down.

Mo Jingchun turned his head and looked at the morning sky again. He didn't know why he seemed to be particularly fond of the sky. Usually, he would hold his chin and stare at the sky in a daze whenever he had time.

Jiang Li glanced at Mo Jingchun quietly, and felt that this man was very strange. Although he was a good person...

Jiang Li looked away before Mo Jingchun looked at him.

Mo Jingchun looked at his thin deskmate and an intriguing smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

Woman, you've got my attention!

For some reason, this classic line from the movie "The Overlord" echoed in Mo Jingchun's mind.

In the afternoon, because of Jiang Li, Mo Jingchun sat in his seat and did not leave immediately, which made some classmates look strange in their eyes when they passed by him.

"I think it's almost time, right? Don't you have to go home in the afternoon?" Mo Jingchun stood up from his seat and said a little bored.

"Yes, but I'm used to being ten minutes late so there aren't too many people."

Jiang Li put down the book in his hand and answered seriously.

"Why are we ten minutes late?" Mo Jingchun looked at the gorgeous sunset in the distance and couldn't help but smile. "Hurry up, there's no one here anyway."

"you……"

Jiang Li followed Mo Jingchun's gaze towards the sunset that dyed the clouds red. He was silent for a moment and said, "Let's go now."

Mo Jingchun reacted after hearing Jiang Li's words, "I could have fulfilled my promise yesterday, but it's a pity you didn't agree. Friend, now hurry up and leave."

Jiang Li nodded and followed Mo Jingchun. The two of them walked in the sunset that was cut into pieces by the corridor.

Mo Jingchun walked fast and had already reached the stairs to the next floor, while Jiang Li was still staying at the upper position. The two people, one in front and one behind, seemed to be in two different spaces, with a clear boundary between them.

But even such boundaries are still connected by the broken sunset.

"Hurry up," Mo Jingchun stopped and put his hands up to shield his face from the setting sun. "Even the sun moves faster than you."

In Mo Jingchun's sight from downstairs, Jiang Li was in sync with the sun, and the setting sun bloomed beside her, with the white clouds and blue sky dyed red. In the dazzling light, Mo Jingchun could only see her eyes that were always sad.
