"The rain seems to have subsided a bit."
Mo Jingchun opened the back door, stood there, turned his head and looked at Jiang Li, "Aren't you leaving yet?"
At this moment, only Mo Jingchun and Jiang Li were left in Class 407, and the rest had been picked up by their parents.
The once bustling senior high school teaching building became quiet as time went by.
In the dim rainy night, this silent high-rise building stands here like a giant beast with a terrifying atmosphere.
"I..." Jiang Li looked at Mo Jingchun who was blocking the back door, "Wait a little longer."
"Wait longer?" Mo Jingchun took a few more steps outside. The rain was now much lighter than at the beginning, but it was still considered heavy rain.
"If we wait any longer, the senior class will lock the building."
Mo Jingchun said as he approached Jiang Li, "Or are you like me, with no one to pick you up?"
Jiang Li turned his head to the side silently and subconsciously grabbed the peace locket on his chest.
"Haha, I guessed it right." Mo Jingchun had a smile on his face. He reached into his drawer and took out an umbrella after rummaging around.
"Let's go, if we wait any longer we won't have another chance."
Mo Jingchun opened the back door and walked out first. The dim light made it difficult to see his expression at the moment.
Jiang Li glanced at the candle next to him that had long been extinguished, stood up from his seat, walked out of the classroom and closed the back door.
The two walked downstairs side by side. Mo Jingchun opened the black folding umbrella, and Jiang Li leaned over. The two walked out of the teaching building side by side.
Jiang Li had never had such contact with anyone before. Since the black folding umbrella was not big, she and Mo Jingchun had to stay close to each other to avoid getting wet.
"What are you thinking about?" Mo Jingchun's voice rang out beside Jiang Li.
"What?" Jiang Li looked at Mo Jingchun in surprise and asked.
"You always seem to be thinking about something, so what are you thinking about?"
Jiang Li lowered his head and did not answer Mo Jingchun immediately.
"What about you?" Jiang Li asked, "After a day of vacation, I feel like you've become very different."
"Different?" Mo Jingchun smiled. The two of them walked in the rain, making a clattering sound.
"I'm not different, I just want to talk to you more."
"That's it," Jiang Li interrupted Mo Jingchun, looking at him seriously, "You never took the initiative to talk to me before, nor did you deliberately chat with me."
"What does that even mean?" Mo Jingchun carelessly stepped over the puddle in front of him. "I just want to talk to you."
"No, it's probably because of someone else." Jiang Li added, "Agreement or something else?"
Mo Jingchun paused, and Jiang Li also stopped silently. The two of them stood in the rain holding an umbrella.
"You..." Mo Jingchun looked at Jiang Li beside him with some disbelief. In just one day, no, half a day, this girl had seen through his thoughts.
Mo Jingchun's sudden change was indeed due to a bet.
On Sunday, although he and Xu Fan wandered around all afternoon, they didn't do nothing.
It was a boring bet, and its content was the love part that Mo Jingchun hated the most.
But in order to slap his good brother in the face, Mo Jingchun still agreed. However, he didn't expect that Jiang Li had already seen through him before he started to implement it.
"I'm very smart."
Jiang Li said seriously, with a serious expression on his face, "Don't lie to me."
After Jiang Li finished speaking, he stepped out of the area covered by the umbrella and walked into the rain alone.
Mo Jingchun stood there blankly holding an umbrella, looking at Jiang Li who was walking in front of him and getting wet in the rain.
The sky is dark and covered with dark clouds.
Jiang Li's hair was blown by the wind. She stopped seven steps away from Mo Jingchun, then turned around. At this moment, a flash of lightning streaked across the sky and appeared just behind Jiang Li.
The flowing black hair, the face illuminated by lightning, and the surrounding rain formed a sigh-worthy scene. Jiang Li, standing in the center of the rain, was like a goddess descending to the earth.
"If we don't leave now," Jiang Li rolled his eyes, "it's going to rain hard."
“Boom.”
The sound of lightning rang out after Jiang Li finished speaking, waking up Mo Jingchun who was standing there in a daze.
"good."
Mo Jingchun ran forward two steps and caught up with Jiang Li, and the two walked out of the school gate together.
…………
The basketball hit the dazed Mo Jingchun on the head, waking him up from his memories.
He subconsciously touched his head and picked up the basketball on the ground.
"What's wrong with you? You're still daydreaming while playing ball. Are you still sleepy or didn't you get enough sleep?"
Xu Fan's voice sounded beside him. Mo Jingchun raised his hand and threw the basketball to him, then walked to a seat nearby.
"What's wrong with you?" Xu Fan walked over to Mo Jingchun, holding the basketball. "If you lose the bet, then you lose it. Why bother with it for so long?"
It turned out that on Tuesday morning, Mo Jingchun found Xu Fan as soon as he arrived at school and said that he had lost the bet.
In the following few days, Mo Jingchun was always in a daze for unknown reasons, which made Xu Fan a little confused.
As for Jiang Li, Xu Fan had met him before. He waited for Mo Jingchun at the basketball court for a long time on Thursday, but there was no sign of him.
I ran to their classroom specifically, only to find that Mo Jingchun was still sitting in his seat.
And sitting next to him was his deskmate.
