Chapter 31 Whose Youth

Mo Jingchun let Jiang Li lie in the position where he had been before.

As for himself, he began to move the tables and chairs around the rooftop and began to assemble a brand new lounge chair.

Jiang Li looked at the busy Mo Jingchun and moved the table with him without hesitation.

After working for a long time, they finally built a reclining chair. After finishing all this, they lay down on the reclining chairs next to each other in tacit understanding, and looked at the blue sky at the same time.

The air is very good and the wind is very gentle.

Because of what happened just now, Jiang Li was no longer sleepy. She quietly turned her head and saw Mo Jingchun beside her staring at the sky with a faint smile on his face.

The sky is high and vast, making the thoughts of those who look at it wander.

"How is it? My place is pretty good, right?" Mo Jingchun suddenly spoke while staring at the sky.

"Well," Jiang Li retracted his gaze, "Do you usually come here at noon?"

There was a sound of someone getting up from the side, and Mo Jingchun sat up from the new armchair, facing Jiang Li.

"more than."

"more than?"

"Yes," Mo Jingchun stared at Jiang Li, whose black and smooth hair was scattered on the chair, hanging in the air and fluttering in the wind.

"I'll come here at night too," Mo Jingchun said. "It's the most comfortable time here at night, with the night breeze and the stars."

Mo Jingchun said this with an intoxicated look on his face, "Especially the cloudless night sky, with the stars hanging in the night sky, twinkling and beautiful."

"Do you like stars?" Jiang Li tucked her hair behind her ears. "That's why you like looking at the sky."

"That's about right," Mo Jingchun nodded. "It's one of my few hobbies."

Jiang Li didn't say anything, but nodded silently.

"By the way, Jiang Li." Mo Jingchun suddenly said, "After evening self-study in a couple of days, come with me to the rooftop."

“…”

Jiang Li looked surprised. He didn't expect Mo Jingchun to suddenly invite him.

"Haha, what's with that expression?" Mo Jingchun smiled and shook his head, "Looking at the stars."

"Oh," Jiang Li neither refused nor agreed.

Soon, the lunch break was about to end, and the two men came down from the rooftop early and put the big plastic lock back in place.

At this moment, the students from Class 407 and others also returned to the classroom one after another. Jiang Li and Mo Jingchun returned to their seats from the back door one after another.

Jiang Li's fair and straight nose moved, and she seemed to smell a different scent.

Jiang Li sat in the back row, where she could see the whole class. She always felt that there seemed to be a few more pairs of eyes in the crowd quietly watching her.

That feeling is very uncomfortable, just like the uncomfortable feeling of clothes sticking to the body after sweating profusely.

Jiang Li sighed. Now she could only think that she was thinking too much.

…………

The black pen in his hand was spinning rapidly, and it stopped after spinning seven times.

Jiang Li frowned, his thoughts a little confused.

Class 407 has been acting strangely lately. This strangeness doesn't refer to any particular changes, but rather that the students in the class seem to be chatting about something vaguely, and every time after they finish chatting, they keep their eyes on Jiang Li and Mo Jingchun.

Jiang Li straightened his back. How could his deliberately insignificant personality attract the attention of his classmates?

“Pah.”

One of them didn't hold it firmly and the spinning black pen fell onto the desk.

As for Mo Jingchun, isn’t he the same?

Jiang Li picked up the black pen, adjusted his posture, and started turning it smoothly again.

It was the break after the second class. Jiang Li leaned on the desk, his black hair covering his face, and his right hand was turning a black pen.

"Student Jiang."

There was a flapping sound from the books piled on the desk. Jiang Li came to his senses and saw the monitor of Class 407 standing next to him.

She was a girl wearing glasses and looked very quiet.

"Teacher Liu is looking for you." The class monitor said to Jiang Li when he saw her get up.

Jiang Li stopped the movement of his right hand, put the black pen back on the table, nodded, moved his chair, stood up, and walked towards the office.

There were many students wandering around outside during the break. Jiang Li walked along the corner of the wall, being careful not to touch anyone.

Finally, Jiang Li came to Teacher Liu's office alone. Through the window, he could see that Teacher Liu was organizing the lesson plans on his desk.

Jiang Li breathed a sigh of relief. It had been a long time since Teacher Liu contacted him after the last subsidy for poor students. He wondered what the matter was this time.

After making a report, Jiang Li walked into the office and came to Teacher Liu.

"Jiang Li, are you adapting well in the class?" Teacher Liu put down the textbook in his hand, turned around and asked Jiang Li with a friendly face.

"Well, thank you, Teacher Liu." Jiang Li looked at Teacher Liu with his almond-shaped eyes, feeling that he seemed to have something else to say.

Sure enough, Teacher Liu changed his sitting position, crossed his hands together and looked thoughtful.

"How are you getting along with your classmates lately?"

"Huh," Jiang Li secretly breathed a sigh of relief. It turned out that this was what he wanted to ask himself.

"My classmates are all very nice," Jiang Li understood. At this moment, he only needed to say something positive. "I'm very happy to be with them."

"That's good, that's good." Teacher Liu nodded. "It's nothing. I just wanted to ask you something. After all, your situation is quite special."
