Chapter 5 Quarrel

Bai Lu obviously heard the arguing upstairs, but she didn't dare to go upstairs. At this moment, she only dared to stand by the stairs near the second floor, with fear written on her face.

After seeing Jiang Li coming out from the second floor, she took two steps back.

Jiang Li, with tears in her eyes, felt like she had found a lifeline when she saw Bai Lu. "Bai Lu, I beg you to go to grandma's room and comfort her now. Dad has a bad temper and must have scared her just now."

Jiang Li pleaded with his sister Bai Lu in an almost humble manner. After hearing Jiang Li's words, Bai Lu nodded slowly.

After doing all this, Jiang Li didn't dare to stay here any longer and ran upstairs.

She ran all the way to the top floor of the house, where there were some iron sheets and a square water tank surrounded by cement.

Jiang Li hid behind the reservoir.

Her tears kept flowing, and her already pale face became even paler and more frightening.

At this moment, her surroundings were covered by vast snowflakes. Snowflakes were still falling from the sky. In a short while, Jiang Li had a white hat on her head.

Why would his most trusted family treat him like this? Jiang Li saw alienation and strangeness in everyone's eyes, as if he was no longer their family, but a stranger who broke into their world.

Yes, if I become a girl, who can accept that my brother, younger brother or son becomes a girl?

Who wouldn't find this ridiculous if others told them this?

But such a ridiculous thing happened to Jiang Li, and the origin of everything was that crazy biologist.

Jiang Li couldn't remember how she had changed, but every time she thought about it, she would feel a sharp pain in her heart. It was her brain reminding her not to recall the past.

“Huff, huff.”

The sad Jiang Li felt as if her heart was aching again, and the pain was so severe that it even made her tears stop.

Jiang Li didn't care about the water on the ground. He knelt on the ground, clutching his chest and sweating profusely.

The heartache would also occur when she was emotionally excited.

The cold accumulated water soaked Jiang Li's knees. After ten minutes, the pain in his heart finally subsided.

Jiang Li raised her head blankly and looked at the vast and high sky. Snowflakes fell on her beautiful face, forming a beautiful picture.

After staying on the roof for nearly 40 minutes, Jiang Li chose to go downstairs cautiously.

At this moment, she was already freezing, her knees were soaked, and her entire lower body was icy cold.

She didn't dare stay on the third floor for too long because that was where her father rested. Although she didn't know where Bai Cheng was now, an intuition told Jiang Li that it would be better not to stay on this floor for too long.

So she had no choice but to go back to the second floor.

When Jiang Li just arrived at the second floor, he happened to meet his aunt who had just returned home from buying groceries.

The aunt was stunned for a moment when she saw a beautiful girl who was a complete stranger appear in her home.

Jiang Li didn't know how to explain herself, so she had to walk into the living room on the second floor. She knew there was a room there that was usually filled with junk and no one was usually there.

The most important thing is that I can be closer to my grandma.

My aunt's eyes were full of doubts. She hurried to the second floor and happened to meet Bai Ye. She asked him about Jiang Li.

Bai Ye sighed and told his mother everything he knew. After learning the whole story, Jiang Li's aunt shook her head helplessly, although she looked incredulous.

The door was opened and Bai Ye walked in.

Bai Ye saw Jiang Li sitting on the edge of the bed, and also noticed the large patch of water on her knee.

In his hands he held a quilt and a set of cotton and sheets for the bed.

He placed these things next to Jiang Li, who did not react at all. Bai Ye finally couldn't bear it, so he reached out and touched Jiang Li.

Jiang Li slowly raised his head and looked at his brother, with a hint of fear in his eyes.

"Go take a shower, don't catch a cold."

Bai Ye pointed at Jiang Li's knees and reminded her, then left the room.

Jiang Li was unmoved after hearing Bai Ye's words. She just walked to the cabinet at the edge of the room, took out a pair of black pants she had been wearing, and changed her wet jeans.

After doing all this, Jiang Li sat back in her previous position, curled up with her legs hugged, and stared blankly at the table in front of her.

An unknown amount of time passed, but when Jiang Li's stomach rumbled for the fourth time, she heard her aunt's voice downstairs calling everyone to eat.

There were sounds of footsteps around, it seemed that Bai Ye and the others had gone downstairs to eat.

Jiang Li hesitated for a while, but finally couldn't resist the hunger in his stomach and chose to go downstairs to eat.

Jiang Li walked downstairs cautiously, not daring to make any noise. The people downstairs were holding bowls and chopsticks, shoveling white rice into the rice cooker beside them.

Compared with them, Jiang Li seemed so out of place.

After waiting for everyone to add their food, Jiang Li walked over, scooped up her own rice, and then sat in the seat where she used to sit despite everyone's strange looks.

No one spoke, they just ate in silence.

The originally happy dinner table and the joyful family seemed to become silent because of Jiang Li.

Jiang Li didn't dare to look up, because sitting opposite her was her father Bai Cheng.

But despite her caution, her eyes inevitably met Bai Cheng's. Although it was only for a brief moment, it made Bai Cheng instantly furious.

He pulled out a chair and walked towards Jiang Li. Jiang Li also felt Bai Cheng's arrival and stopped what he was doing.

Bai Cheng threw the bowl of rice in her hand to the ground and slapped Jiang Li hard.

"Why are you, a fake, sitting in my son's seat? Get out of here."

Bai Cheng's expression was ferocious, as if he wanted to eat Jiang Li alive.

"Bai Cheng! What on earth are you doing? Can you please eat properly?"

The uncle couldn't sit still anymore. He put down the bowl and chopsticks in his hands, stood up suddenly and shouted at his younger brother.

"Brother, I told you she's a fake."

The uncle frowned when he heard his brother's words. He looked at Jiang Li and said, "Bai... Jiang Li, please don't stay here for now."

After hearing what his uncle said, Jiang Li, who had been sitting on the stool silently, stood up shakily, went upstairs silently, and returned to the room again.

As she went up to the second floor, she heard a fierce quarrel again from downstairs, and even the sound of a stool falling to the ground.
