Chapter 57 Watching the Sea Under the Moon

It was very quiet, with only the sound of rolling waves.

The waves beat against the sand, and in the distance there were some abandoned old wooden boats docked.

Jiang Li followed Mo Jingchun silently and walked towards a farther place.

The soft sand under my feet made a rustling sound. The moon was very bright today. Although there was no light around, it still made the beach look snow-white.

The sea surface was sparkling, and it was pitch black in the distance. The continent lay there quietly, forming an angle with where Jiang Li was. Opposite to the right of the Blue Bay Fishery was the estuary.

Jiang Li grew up in an inland province in the south and had never seen the sea. He never expected to see the sea in this way today.

Perhaps it was the effect of the environment or the inner peace, but Jiang Li's face did not show the slightest change when he saw the sea for the first time. He and Mo Jingchun walked on the beach illuminated by the moonlight, leaving only shallow footprints with each step.

The sea breeze ruffled Mo Jingchun's bangs. He had a smile on his face and looked firmly at a certain place.

"Come, Jiang Li is here."

Finally, after the two of them had walked on the beach for an unknown amount of time, Mo Jingchun pointed to a place and said.

It was a group of protruding rocks, all black in color, lying quietly on the beach, turning into silent giants.

Green moss grows on the side close to the sea, and the sea water has polished it very smooth. Although the other end of the rock is far away from the sea surface, when you stand on it, you can still feel the vibration of the sea water hitting the stone.

"Be careful," Mo Jingchun took the lead and climbed onto the rocks beside the beach. He grabbed a protruding stone pillar with his left hand and reached out to Jiang Li with his right hand.

Jiang Li stepped on the stone with one foot and looked up at Mo Jingchun who was extending his hand to him.

In the moonlight, the boy's handsome features sparkled, a smile blossomed at the corners of his mouth, and his eyes revealed the joy of sharing with others.

Time seemed to stop here for three more seconds. Three seconds later, Jiang Li stretched out her hand, and Mo Jingchun grabbed it firmly and pulled her up.

After climbing up the stone wall, the two quickly let go of each other's hands.

They jumped back and forth on the black stone wall, found a flat place with an excellent view, and sat down.

It was not until this moment that Jiang Li finally understood why Mo Jingchun said that he would definitely like that.

Because the scene in front of me is beautiful.

Two moons appeared in Jiang Li's eyes, one hanging in the sky and the other appearing on the sea. The two moons reflected each other, and the waves rolled and hit the rocks and the beach, making a dull sound.

The continents that were originally across the sea formed two black background boards at the location of this sea outlet, with a bright moon hanging in the middle, which made people feel extremely shocked.

Mo Jingchun took out his cell phone and continued playing the previous music.

The rustling of the sand, the crash of the waves, the dull thud of the waves hitting the rocks, and the quiet and pure sound of music all contributed to the tranquility of this night.

"How about it?"

Mo Jingchun's voice sounded from the side. Jiang Li turned around and found that the latter was looking at him.

Mo Jingchun was still smiling, "It's beautiful here, isn't it? I didn't lie to you."

"Yeah," Jiang Li nodded, and looked at the moon hanging over the sea and its reflection again, "This is the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen."

"Really?" Mo Jingchun put away his smile and stared at the sea.

"If possible, or if there's a chance." Mo Jingchun stared at the gap between the sea and the moon, "I can take you to see the shooting stars."

Jiang Li didn't say anything. She bent her waist, hugged her knees with both hands, and leaned her head on them.

"Why are you doing this? We are just ordinary friends." Jiang Li spoke.

"Didn't I tell you a long time ago?" Mo Jingchun scratched his hair, "I cherish every friend I recognize."

"A recognized friend..." Jiang Li turned around and glanced at Mo Jingchun, "Actually, I've always wanted to ask, how did we become friends?"

"What kind of question is that?" Mo Jingchun frowned. "Maybe it's fate."

After hearing Mo Jingchun's words, Jiang Li slowly shook his head, his eyes fixed on the moon and the sea. "I don't think so."

"What should that be?" Mo Jingchun asked first.

Jiang Li was silent for a long time, she couldn't explain it clearly.

"That's fate."

Seeing that Jiang Li was speechless, Mo Jingchun's expression became certain, "It was fate that made you meet Mo Ling in the library, and it was also fate that made you meet Xu Fan at the corner when you were leaving.

"So I say, fate is something truly wonderful."

"Yeah?"

Jiang Li questioned again, "But I think you are different."

"I'm different?" Jiang Li's words confused Mo Jingchun. "How am I different?"

Jiang Li withdrew her gaze from the moon and the sea, and turned her head to look at Mo Jingchun who was facing her.

After a brief eye contact, Jiang Li spoke.

"Who am I?" Jiang Li asked without thinking.

Mo Jingchun frowned, "You are Jiang Li."

"No," Jiang Li's face showed a look of certainty, "I am not Jiang Li."

Mo Jingchun was amused by Jiang Li's words. He continued to ask, "If you are not Jiang Li, then who are you?"

"I am someone else." Jiang Li replied.

"Others?" Mo Jingchun put away his smile.

"Yeah." Jiang Li nodded slightly.

"Which other person?" Mo Jingchun asked.

"I don't know." Jiang Li's eyes drooped a little.
