Chapter 8 Hangzhou

Seeing this, Jiang Li hurriedly put on a pair of gloves and started cleaning with Lin Yun. After a period of tidying up, the whole house looked brand new.

Since Jiang Li didn't have much luggage, all the daily necessities in the room were bought by Lin Yun at the supermarket outside with Jiang Li.

After a shopping spree, the two returned to the staff dormitory of the welfare home with bags and placed all the things they bought in the house, making it full of the breath of life.

Not only that, Lin Yun noticed from the beginning that Jiang Li didn't have a mobile phone, so he specially bought her one.

Although Jiang Li refused many times, Lin Yun's attitude was very firm, and Jiang Li finally accepted it.

The house issue has been settled, and next Lin Yun plans to help Jiang Li find a school.

Lin Yun didn't stay any longer and packed up her things before planning to leave, but Jiang Li stopped her when she was about to leave.

"Aunt Lin Yun, thank you. Jiang Li has remembered everything that happened these days. I will repay you double for the help you have given me and the money you have spent on me."

As Jiang Li spoke, she was about to bow again, but before she could complete the action, she was firmly grasped by Lin Yun.

"What do you mean? I said I spent this money voluntarily and I don't need you to pay it back. What? Do you look down on your Aunt Lin Yun?"

“No… no.”

Jiang Li quickly shook his head, his face full of panic.

"Haha," Lin Yun looked at Jiang Li's cautious expression, feeling both distressed and amused. She reached out and scratched Jiang Li's white nose.

"I have arranged a transfer for you. Study hard and live a good life. That will be your way of repaying me."

Lin Yun smiled gently, then patted Jiang Li on the shoulder and turned to leave.

"Aunt Lin Yun, why are you so nice to me?" Jiang Li shouted at Lin Yun who was walking to the stairwell.

Lin Yun turned around when he heard Jiang Li's voice, hesitated for a moment and said, "I'm not sure...but I see the shadow of a friend in you."

After Lin Yun finished speaking, she left without looking back. As she turned around and left, a tear fell from the corner of Jiang Li's eye.

All the warmth he felt after being rescued was actually brought by this policeman who was completely unrelated to him. Jiang Li pressed his protruding and soft chest and vowed to repay Lin Yun.
