Chapter 14: Don't Ask Women to Give You Face

Chapter 14: Don't Ask Women to Give You Face

Zhou Zhou had to admit that Cheng Yu was really alike to her.

Whether it is their attitude towards playing or their ability to seize the initiative, they are very flexible and will not put themselves at a disadvantage.

In the past, Zhou Zhou liked to have absolute initiative.

The dealings between her and Cheng Yu had piqued her interest, and she found it very interesting.

Cheng Yu was a strong person, and she knew that from the first time they met. But he was not static. Asking about her past and building her a snowman were all deliberate signals from him, not a true lowering of his stance.

Zhou Zhou likes this give-and-take feeling.

Just like last night when he was teaching her a game, she would mock him for being a first-time teacher and not having much experience, but then she would act coquettishly and call him Master, asking him to pay more attention.

He cleverly turned his inability to teach into a lack of attention.

Zhou Zhou knew how to make people feel comfortable, and so did Cheng Yu. So much so that the two people who loved to control everything were willing to go with the flow.

Zhou Zhou got off the bed and sat directly on Cheng Yu: "We just finished sleeping, and you are so impatient to talk to me about the rules. Aren't you a bit of a jerk?"

She sat on his lap, taller than him, and his wet hair rubbed against her chin, bringing a slight coolness.

Cheng Yu held her waist lightly, leaned back, and looked at her casually with half-closed eyes: "Are you unhappy?"

"What should I do if I'm unhappy? Are you going to comfort me?" Zhou Zhou asked half-truthfully.

Cheng Yu chuckled and patted her butt lightly.

He didn't answer.

Their relationship wasn't one to the point of needing to coax each other. If they were in bed, he'd be happy to exchange a few words, but he wasn't in the mood for this little disagreement.

Zhou Zhou looked at his reaction and guessed what was going on.

She hit his shoulder and pretended to be angry: "Cheng Yu, how can you hook up with a woman like this?"

He is very picky about the things that come to him, and he has no sympathy for women. He hates trouble, is too lazy to coax people, and acts like he is worth a lot of money, but he is unwilling to even deal with it.

It really proves the saying that pulling out the ruthless thing is heartless.

He draws the line between relationships between men and women very clearly, unlike others who are vague and linger on the edge of the line.

Even though Zhou Zhou liked it this way, to be honest, he still felt a little unhappy.

Cheng Yu was the first man who was eager to talk to her about the rules of the game.

"You can talk about your rules, I'm all ears." Cheng Yu didn't answer her question, but said, "For example, if you have feelings for Pei Shuchen, do you want others to know about our relationship?"

He knew how to make Zhou Zhou feel comfortable, and also knew the source of her unhappiness, so he turned the initiative back to her.

Zhou Zhou is not an innocent girl, nor is he an impulsive and innocent boy.

Breaking the rules for her naturally didn't mean he was naive and thought she was special. Zhou Zhou followed the trend, but he didn't set a precedent for him.

It's just that both of them know that the other cares about the initiative, so they won't be unreasonable and ask for more, causing unnecessary trouble to each of them.

People in the same circle and the same class fear trouble the most.

"Are you willing?" Zhou Zhou raised an eyebrow and drew circles on his chest with his fingers. "Chen Yiyang posted the video, and everyone knows about our ambiguity. If we pretend not to know each other well, there will be no end of teasing about you not being able to sleep with me and letting others get there first."

For Cheng Yu, it was shameful.

Cheng Yu kneaded her waist gently with his hands, and said unrulyly: "I don't need a woman to give me face."

This is best.

Zhou Zhou pecked his lips as a reward: "You're so good."

Cheng Yu was naturally not satisfied with this superficial kiss.

Just as Zhou Zhou was about to step back, the man grabbed her waist and fiercely sucked the breath in her mouth, sucking until her tongue became numb.

After the kiss ended, she got off him and changed her position to nestle in his arms.

"I'm a little hungry," she said.

After building a snowman for an entire afternoon and hanging out with Cheng Yu for so long, she was almost out of energy.

After the afterglow of happiness fades, hunger arrives the fastest.

Cheng Yu was silent for a moment: "Yizi hasn't moved yet, he's been busy enough."

Zhou Zhou nodded.

She had never cooked before and probably wouldn't even be able to cook dumplings. While she was still wondering whether to go call Chen Yiyang, Cheng Yu had already stood up, picked up the T-shirt next to him and put it on: "Let's go."

She asked, "Is your name Chen Yiyang?"

"I'll try."

Zhou Zhou asked uncertainly, "You do it?"

Cheng Yu hummed again: "I see there are a lot of vegetables in the refrigerator. If we really have to stay asleep for that long, we can't just eat instant noodles and dumplings every day. It shouldn't be difficult. If that doesn't work, it won't be too late to eat instant noodles."

He acted calmly, as if cooking was really a very simple thing.

Zhou Zhou followed him downstairs half-believing and half-doubting.

Cheng Yu looked through all the food in the refrigerator and decided what to cook before searching for tutorials on his phone.

There are many cooking videos online, with precise instructions on what seasoning to add and how much to add. He watched it twice, then closed the video and put his phone back in his pocket.

Zhou Zhou pulled at the vegetable leaves and asked him, "Aren't you going to watch it? Don't you want to follow the video step by step?"

"Remember that." Cheng Yu turned around and saw the vegetables she had destroyed. He frowned and said, "If you keep pulling them out like this, what are you going to put in the pot?"

"Ah?" Zhou Zhou looked at the little bit of cabbage left and let go awkwardly.

Cheng Yu closed his eyes and still drove her out of the kitchen.

Compared to his first attempt at cooking, asking Zhou Zhou to help him seemed to make him even more unsure.

Half an hour later, Cheng Yu came out with the dishes.

"So fast?" Zhou Zhou leaned over to take a look and took the plate from his hand.

He made three dishes: shredded pork with Beijing sauce, scrambled eggs with shrimp, and stir-fried cabbage.

"You didn't cook the dish I picked." she blurted out.

When I asked the question, I realized that I had asked a stupid question.

She picked all the vegetables and threw them into the trash can. What can be fried with the remaining ones? Baby food?

Cheng Yu didn't miss her expression, and sneered, "You are quite self-aware."

"Don't bother me." Zhou Zhou passed him by, head down and hurried along, saying quickly, "I'll go get the dishes. Go upstairs and call Chen Yiyang."

She was almost jogging when she disappeared.

Cheng Yu turned around and looked, a faint smile on his lips.

Even though she slipped away very quickly, he still didn't miss the redness on her ears, which seemed to be bleeding.

Cheng Yu went upstairs and knocked on the door, but didn't call Chen Yiyang down.

"He's still on the phone and it won't be over for a while." Cheng Yu said.

"Still fighting?" Zhou Zhou filled his bowl with rice and handed it to him. "It's been hours, and he still hasn't been coaxed out."

"That should be about the same."

Zhou Zhou said "oh".

Cheng Yu waited for her to pick up her chopsticks.

After watching her eat the meat, he asked, "How is it?"

"Sure." Zhou Zhou gave him an approving look, picked up another piece of food with his chopsticks, and asked him in surprise, "Are you this good on your first try?"

"Really?" Cheng Yu hadn't tried it yet.

Zhou Zhou nodded vigorously and put a piece of shredded pork in Beijing sauce into his bowl with chopsticks: "Try it."

Cheng Yu observed her reaction, which was very sincere. But he also felt something was wrong, that her smile was not right, and he ate the food with a half-believing attitude.

The next second, he spat out: "Not cooked yet."

The appearance is okay, the taste is also good, but it’s a little lacking in quality.

Cheng Yu took the plate and prepared to cook it again.

Zhou Zhou followed him, leaning against the door with a wicked smile: "It's okay, it's always like this when you cook for the first time, you'll get better after a few tries."

Cheng Yu turned his head to look at her, and after hearing his double entendre, he smiled faintly: "Are you waiting for me here on purpose?"

His hand that was firing the gun paused slightly, and he walked towards her and pulled her into the kitchen.

Zhou Zhou whispered, "What are you doing?"

The sliding door closed, followed by the sound of it clicking shut.

Cheng Yu pushed her against the door panel and said, "The first time was indeed a little unsatisfactory. Why don't you try again?"
