"Are you trying to die by hugging me so tightly?" Shu Bai's voice came crashing down with the sound of the wind.
Li Yuheng rested her chin on his shoulder: "Teacher Shubai, are you willing to part with it?"
The car suddenly swerved, and the tires screeched as they scraped against the gravel road.
Li Yuheng was thrown to one side, but his arm tightened around her, and he pinched her pale abs with his fingertips as a warning.
"let go!"
"No, I'll fall."
Shu Bai slammed on the brakes, and Li Yuheng's chest slammed heavily into his back.
Both men groaned simultaneously, their helmets clashing together with a thud.
"We're here." Shu Bai quickly took off his helmet, turned around and walked away. "The road ahead is narrow, let's go through."
Li Yuheng saw that Shu Bai's ear tips were so red they were practically dripping blood, and the shadows cast by her eyelashes in the sunlight were trembling slightly.
He followed slowly behind Shu Bai, looking around at the small southern county town.
The streets are lined with low-rise houses with white walls and black tiles, with a few modern buildings interspersed among them.
Street vendors hawked their fruit, and the air was filled with the aroma of fried food.
Shu Bai turned into a supermarket with practiced ease, and Li Yuheng immediately followed.
"Teacher Shubai, what are you buying?" he asked, leaning closer.
Shu Bai didn't even turn his head: "Household necessities."
Li Yuheng immediately pushed a shopping cart and followed closely behind, just like a follower.
Shu Bai tossed a towel, toothbrush, and slippers into the shopping cart, and Li Yuheng immediately added, "How about we buy a matching couple's pair too?"
Shu Bai glanced at him indifferently, then turned and walked towards the food section.
Li Yuheng smiled slightly, put down a matching couple's item, pushed the shopping cart and followed, weaving nimbly between the shelves, occasionally tossing a few bags of snacks into the cart.

He turned and left.
Li Yuheng quickly caught up, carrying two large bags of things, and couldn't resist saying cheekily, "Teacher Shubai, please slow down, I'm carrying things!"
Shu Bai didn't even turn her head: "If you're tired, just throw it away."
“No, this is our dinner.” Li Yuheng quickened her pace to walk alongside him.

On the way back, it started to rain.
The rain slanted down onto the motorcycle helmet, making a soft, pattering sound.
Li Yuheng hummed an off-key song, his fingers tapping rhythmically on Shu Bai's waist.
"Teacher Shubai, red light."
Shu Bai braked the car, and raindrops slid down his goggles.
Li Yuheng's singing stopped abruptly, and he tilted his head to look at an electric scooter parked next to him.
The little girl in the back seat, wearing a light yellow raincoat, was staring at them curiously with her round eyes.
"Hey, little one!" Li Yuheng suddenly reached out and gave the little girl a high five through the rain. "Give me a high five!"
The little girl paused for a moment, then giggled and asked in her childish voice, "Brothers, are you superheroes?"
Shu Bai's back stiffened noticeably for a moment.
Li Yuheng was overjoyed: "Yeah, I'm the Flash, and this one over there is—"
"Shut up." Shu Bai's voice came through the sound of rain, tinged with gritted teeth.
The green light came on, and the electric scooter sped away first. The little girl, clinging to her mother's back, waved enthusiastically at them.
Li Yuheng waved back dramatically until the pale yellow color disappeared into the rain.
"Naive." Shu Bai twisted the accelerator.
Li Yuheng wrapped his arms around his waist and rested his chin on his shoulder: "Teacher Shubai, didn't you ever play high-five games when you were a kid?"
Rainwater flowed down from where the two helmets met, accumulating into a small puddle on Li Yuheng's sleeve.
Shu Bai didn't answer, but silently accelerated, leaving a trail of water on the wet road.
Li Yuheng didn't care and started humming a song to himself. His voice, mixed with the sound of rain, drifted intermittently into Shu Bai's ears.
"What are you humming?" Shu Bai suddenly asked.
Li Yuheng paused for a moment, then smiled and said, "Teacher Shubai is interested?"
"It sounds awful."
Li Yuheng was not offended; instead, he moved even closer and shouted, "I adapted 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'!"
Shu Bai: "..."

The rain gradually intensified, stinging the helmet as it hit.
Shu Bai turned into a small path, where the shadows of the trees along the roadside provided some shelter from the wind and rain.
Li Yuheng suddenly stopped humming. He quietly put his arm around Shu Bai's waist, feeling the warmth of her body through his palm.
At that moment, he suddenly felt that it wouldn't be bad to just keep driving like this.
No matter where you go, as long as there is open space in front of you, that's fine.
On the uphill road, an old man wearing a blue raincoat appeared ahead, struggling to pedal a tricycle loaded with vegetables.
Shu Bai slowed down, and the motorcycle slowly ran alongside the tricycle on the left.
Suddenly, Li Yuheng stretched out a foot and gently braced it against the back panel of the tricycle, using the motorcycle's power to give the old man a push.

Li Yuheng's feet were still firmly planted on the back of the tricycle, and the motorcycle and tricycle maintained a delicate balance as they slowly climbed the hill together.
He continued shouting at the old man, "Your vegetables look fresh, did you grow them yourself?"
The old man nodded with a smile, "Of course! Freshly picked from our own field!" He glanced at Li Yuheng and Shu Bai, "Where did you two young men come from?"
