He grabbed Shu Bai's ankle.

“I won’t really lose control during my fertile period,” Li Yuheng said quickly, her tone serious. “Last time… after last time, I went for a full set of tests and treatments, and my pheromone levels can be strictly monitored.”
He slightly raised one hand and shook the bracelet on his wrist. "Look, the data is stable, everything is under control."

His pheromones still intensely enveloped Shu Bai, but the overwhelming sense of impending doom seemed to be restrained by some force, preventing it from spreading further.
The air seemed to freeze for a few seconds, with only the sound of their intertwined breaths and their still intensely entwined pheromones.

"I mean what I say."
Hearing this murderous promise, Li Yuheng was not afraid at all; instead, a glint of triumph flashed in his eyes.
"I guarantee it won't!" he answered quickly and loudly. "Absolutely controllable! Stable throughout! Supervision is welcome!"

“Then…” Li Yuheng’s nose rubbed affectionately against Shu Bai’s nose.
The warm black tea pheromones, as if granted a pardon, wrapped around the person beneath them more gently yet more tightly, completely enveloping them.
