Shu Bai leaped down from the wall and landed beside Li Yuheng. "...You really managed to put on a show."
"I call this strength, understand? Silly cat."
At that moment, the smallest of the three dogs, a black dog, suddenly raised its head and let out a shrill howl that echoed through the alley.
Li Yuheng's expression changed: "Run!"
He didn't even have time to explain before turning around and running wildly toward the old neighborhood.
Although Shu Bai didn't understand, he immediately followed without hesitation.
A dog and a cat were running away on an autumn street.
Li Yuheng ran ahead, pawing the ground with his four paws, moving extremely fast.
Shu Bai followed closely behind, his black and white figure nimbly weaving through the streets and alleys.

Li Yuheng suddenly turned into a narrow alley, and Shu Bai lightly leaped over a pile of discarded cardboard boxes to follow.
Shu Bai teased, "Aren't you supposed to be pretty good at fighting? Didn't you take care of those three pretty easily?"
"Nonsense!" Li Yuheng suddenly changed his tune. "I can take on ten, but not a hundred! Do you think I'm stupid?"
They walked through an alley lined with clothes hanging to dry, the wet sheets slapping against their faces.
Shu Bai flicked the water droplets off her head with disdain, "Look at the good path you've led."
"If you don't like it, just fly there yourself!"
Upon hearing this, Shu Bai's ears twitched almost imperceptibly.
This stupid dog's tone... it sounds like it's being affectionate?
He glanced sideways at Li Yuheng, who was running wildly beside him. The guy had his tongue sticking out and his ears were being blown backward by the wind.
He had this smug look on his face, as if he were the best in the world, but the last word he said just now had a slight upward inflection, carrying a hint of self-righteous complaint.
Shu Bai narrowed his eyes, maintaining his high-speed run while suddenly speaking:
"Hey, you stupid dog."
"What's wrong!" Li Yuheng didn't even turn his head, nimbly dodging a puddle on the ground.
"In your family," Shu Bai's voice sounded somewhat faint in the wind, "are you the youngest child?"
Li Yuheng was taken aback for a moment, then sneered: "Youngest? I'm an only child! Do you understand? One of a kind, absolutely no second name!"
His tone was filled with undisguised pride, as if having an only son were some kind of extraordinary medal.
Upon hearing this, a look of understanding flashed in Shu Bai's eyes.

No wonder this bastard acts so recklessly, doing whatever he pleases, and always acting self-righteous when he gets into trouble.

Shu Bai suddenly stopped and turned to glare at him: "Are you checking my household registration?"
