Chapter 4

Chapter 4

"Good morning, Special Assistant Su~" the receptionist said with a nasal voice.

Su Qiong had just stepped into the company when the glass door behind her automatically closed. She smiled brightly, "Xiaoyu! Good morning, are you catching a cold?"

After spending nearly half a month, they finally successfully finalized various cooperation plans between the Mu Group and the Li Group. Su Qiong was in a particularly good mood today. She finally had a break from work and could go back to work as usual. No need to pick up the boss, no need to drive herself!

Xiaoyu nodded through her mask, her voice thick with nasal twang. "Assistant Su, you'd better wear a mask recently. A lot of people are sick. It might be the flu." She pointed to the empty seat next to her and added, "Look, he's even worse off than me. He couldn't even come to work today."

"I'll pay attention, and you should drink more hot water too." After the greeting, Su Qiong walked towards the employee elevator in black high heels. Along the way, she noticed that many familiar faces around her were gone.

Xiaoyu watched Su Qiong in work clothes walk away with long legs, and excitedly typed on her mobile phone: "Sisters!!! Today's Special Assistant Su is still cool, beautiful and handsome!" A handsome president and a beautiful director are the two greatest pleasures of working at the Mu Group.

Mu Yunting took the neat document from Su Qiong's hand and looked through it. After looking at it for a while, his brows relaxed and he nodded slightly. Su Qiong's work ability was really getting stronger and stronger.

Su Qiong had a report in her hand, the resignation report she had drafted during her break. She stood by the desk, waiting for Mu Yunting to read it and sign it before discussing it with him. She was a little nervous. After all, she had been in the company for so many years, and it was not easy to explain her intention to leave. She also had a hard time explaining why she wanted to leave.

Mu Yunting noticed she was still standing by the table, and then he remembered that the deputy director of Group B had a high fever and had not returned from leave two days ago. He looked up and said, "Gao Qi had a fever a few days ago and hasn't returned yet. Go and deal with Gao Qi's accumulated official business. The salary deductions from his sick leave will be put on your account. Sorry for the trouble."

Su Qiong spoke faster than she could think. She paused, then returned to her workspace, clutching the resignation report in her folder. She pounded away on her keyboard, contacting Gao Qi and Team B. The resignation report, edited and revised several times, lay on the floor of her desk.

Let's talk about it after we're done. Su Qiong sighed, but she looked like she was handling her work vigorously and decisively.

"The future plans will be carried out according to these." Mu Yunting picked up the pen, signed in the lower right corner as a note, handed the identical backup file to Su Qiong, and looked up at her.

Su Qiong understood, took the documents, folded them, and then took out the deputy director's affairs file in her hand and put it on top. She spoke quickly and concisely: "Group B's revenue has declined in the past two weeks. Among the accumulated events, the game card set "King Card" has a major bug that cannot be solved. Perhaps we need to move funds to solve it..."

Mu Yunting listened carefully, tapped his right fingers on the wooden table, and took the charts and data handed over by Su Qiong.

"Players of all three games have expressed dissatisfaction with the game's probability, and with the emergence of similar games on the market, perhaps some new innovation and adoption of new ideas are needed."

Mu Yunting looked at it for a while, and when he saw nothing else to add, he nodded and said, "It's almost time to get off work. You can leave today and hand over the work to Gao Qi when he comes back. Thank you for your hard work lately."

Su Qiong raised her left wrist. The hands on her quartz watch ticked quietly. There were still thirty minutes until the end of the workday.

She hesitated for a moment and felt that now was a good time to talk about her resignation.

"Boss, there's something I need to discuss with you." Su Qiong said, striding back to the work area and pulling out his resignation report from the desk.

"Well, I'm planning to resign."

Mu Yunting didn't react for a moment. He took the document from Su Qiong's hand and opened it. The first thing he saw was the words "Resignation Report" in large, size 2 font. Mu Yunting looked up at her again.

Su Qiong stared at Mu Yunting's bewildered face and smiled apologetically: "Boss, please take a look. If it's okay, I'll submit my resignation to the Human Resources Department after the work is handed over."
