Chapter 153 Children with the same surname

Yunbei looked at the little brat and decided to send him to the police station. Maybe he could find his parents by then.

So, she nodded and said, "Okay, follow me if you want."

After hearing Yunbei's words, Fuguang was delighted. It was great that his sister was finally willing to take him with her. He should never go hungry again.

Thinking of this, he touched his half-full stomach and said to Yunbei: "Sister, I'm still a little hungry. Can you buy me two more buns?"

"I guess there are no buns for sale now. Let me tell you, I have some biscuits here, you can eat them first." Yunbei said as he took out a biscuit from his pocket.

Yunbei had never really liked children, finding them troublesome. However, she couldn't dislike the child in front of her.

"Thank you, sister!" Fu Guang took the biscuits, thanked her, and started eating happily.

As he ate, his mood began to sink. How long had it been since he had eaten a biscuit? It seemed as if he hadn't eaten a biscuit since he had been separated from his family.

"Why are you crying?" Yun Bei felt a headache when she saw the child crying while eating biscuits. She didn't know why the child was crying when he was fine.

This is also why she doesn't like children. They cry at the slightest provocation and that makes people annoyed.

"It's okay, I miss my parents." Fu Guang shook his head, wondering if his parents had looked for him.

But if they were looking for me, why haven’t they found me after more than half a year?

After hearing this, Yunbei was stunned for a moment, then reached out and touched the child's head and asked, "Do you still remember where your home is?"

Fu Guang shook his head. He only remembered that his house was big. But he had no idea where it was. He was separated from his parents because they took him on a long trip, saying they were going to look for someone.

Yunbei looked at Fuguang and could understand why he didn't know where his family lived. After all, he looked only about five or six years old. So, she continued, "What are your parents' names? Do you know?"

"My mom's name is Xiang'er, and my dad's name is Ahua."

Yunbei was very disappointed. He knew immediately that this name was probably how the child's parents addressed each other. Without a name, it would be difficult to find someone.

So she asked the child again: "What is your name? Do you know?"

"My name is Fuguang, Yun Fuguang."

Yun Bei was stunned when she heard this. She had never imagined that the child in front of her had the same surname as her.

It seemed they were destined to be together. So, she smiled, reached out and touched the child's head, and said, "You're not calling me sister in vain. My last name is Yun, too. My name is Yunbei."

"Really? Sister, your last name is Yun too." Fu Guang was delighted. He had never expected that the sister he liked actually had the same last name as him. It seemed that his love for her was not unreasonable. After all, they were from the same family.

"Why would I lie to you?"

The two walked and talked, and soon they arrived at the police station.

Looking at the gate of the police station, Fu Guang stopped and looked at Yun Bei puzzledly and asked: "Sister, are you going in here?"

"Yes, I have to ask the police to help you find your parents."

Upon hearing this, Fu Guang's face immediately fell. He reached out and pulled Yun Bei's clothes, begging, "Sister, can you please not go in?"

"Why, don't you want to find your parents?" Yunbei looked puzzled. Don't all children want their parents? Why did Fuguang seem a little reluctant?

Fu Guang looked up at Yun Bei and said seriously, "It's not that I don't want to, but I can't find it."

"Can't find it?" Yunbei was a little surprised, thinking, could it be that Fu Guang had looked for it before?

"Yes, I couldn't find them. When I was first separated from my parents, I went to the police, but they said they couldn't find me. Later, they said they would send me to an orphanage, so I ran away."

Yunbei sighed after hearing this. Fu Guang didn't know where he lived, nor did he know his parents' names. He only knew his name, so she could understand why the police couldn't find him.

However, she decided to give it a try. After all, Fu Guang still needed her parents, and it wouldn't be a problem for her to follow her all the time.

Therefore, she looked down at Fu Guang and said seriously, "Fu Guang, no matter what, we have to give it a try. What if your parents are also looking for you?"

Fu Guang and Yun Bei looked at each other for a moment. Knowing that she would not change her mind, they nodded and said, "Alright. But let's make it clear beforehand that you can't leave me to the police. I have to follow you all the way, okay?"

Yunbei didn't expect Fu Guang to make such a request. He nodded and said, "Okay, you will follow me for the time being."

"Thank you, sister, you are so kind!"

"Just let you follow me." Yunbei smiled and walked into the police station holding Fu Guang's hand.

The comrade from the police station was stunned when he saw Yunbei coming in with a dirty child. Then he asked, "Comrade, what can I do for you?"

Yunbei told the comrades at the police station that Fu Guang wanted to find his parents.

"Okay, no problem. We'll help him find it." The police officer nodded and asked, "What are the child's parents' names and what do they do for a living?"

Upon hearing this, Yun Bei shook his head and said, "The child doesn't know anything. He only knows that his last name is Yun, his name is Yun Fuguang, and that he lives in a big house. He doesn't know his parents' names, what they do, or where they live."

The police officer was immediately troubled when he heard this. How could they find the person without any clues?

Seeing the other party's dilemma, Yunbei didn't know what to say. Fu Guang, on the other hand, smiled and said to the police comrade, "Uncle police, I'm sorry to trouble you. If you can't find it, it doesn't matter. I'll just follow my sister. She won't ignore me."

"Comrade Yun, what?" The police officer looked at Yunbei in surprise. He thought Yunbei had brought Fuguang here to hand him over to them. But from what Fuguang said, Yunbei was planning to live with him?

"Comrade police officer, until we find this child's parents, let him follow me first."

"That's fine, but please leave your phone number and address so we can contact you if we find the person."

"Okay!" Yunbei did not refuse and left the unit's phone number and address to the police comrade.

Seeing the address and phone number she left, the police officer was stunned for a moment, then suddenly thought of something. He looked at her with surprise and said, "Comrade Yunbei, it turned out to be you."
