Chapter 35: Rescue

The patient's family members simply didn't believe it. How could he have been poisoned when he was perfectly fine?

Yunbei knew they didn't believe her, but her judgment was definitely correct. Therefore, she stopped questioning those people and began to look for the wounds on the patient's body.

Because she suspected that the poison must have entered through the wound.

Soon, Yunbei found a long and thin wound on the patient's leg, which seemed to be scratched by some leaves, and the wound had turned purple and black.

"Look, this is the wound. The poison entered the patient's body from here, and it looks like this wound must have been made this morning."

When the patient's wife heard this, she immediately remembered something and said to Yunbei, "Comrade, you are absolutely right. This morning, when my husband and I were chopping firewood in the mountains, he suddenly screamed. I asked him what happened, and he said he had cut his foot on the grass by the roadside. At the time, the cut was not big, and he didn't pay much attention to it. I didn't expect that he would be poisoned."

The patient's wife's words coincided with Yunbei's guess. It seemed that the grass was poisonous and had entered his body, causing the patient to go into shock.

"Comrade, do you have any way to save him?" the patient's mother asked. If Yunbei could save him, that would be great, and they wouldn't have to send him to the hospital.

"He can be saved, but I'll have to trouble this sister-in-law to take me to the place where he was injured to find an antidote. Usually, there will be an antidote near this kind of poisonous herbs."

"Okay, okay, okay, I'll take you there now." Wang Dahua said impatiently, wishing she could grow wings to take the person there.

"Don't worry, I'll use the silver needles to seal the poison in his body and prevent it from spreading to the patient's internal organs."

As he spoke, Yunbei took out a silver needle and first gave it a few injections around the wound, and then gave it a few injections on the patient's chest.

As she moved, the patient's complexion looked better than before, and the dead look on his face dissipated a lot.

After seeing this scene, everyone believed that Yunbei really knew medical skills.

"Send the person back home first. I'll go to the mountain to find the antidote." After Yun Bei gave the instructions, he followed Wang Dahua up the mountain to find the antidote.

Wang Dahua knew the approximate location, so she didn't stop along the way and went straight to her destination.

Fortunately, Yunbei has been exercising recently, otherwise he might not be able to keep up with the other party.

"Comrade, it's right here. I'm not sure exactly where it is." Wang Dahua roughly pointed to an area and then didn't dare to wander around. She was afraid that she would be unlucky and get scratched by the poisonous grass like her husband.

"Okay, I got it. Don't follow me. I'll find it myself." Yunbei nodded and asked Wang Dahua to wait there while he went in to look for the antidote.

After searching for a while, he finally found the antidote under an inconspicuous small tree and picked it up.

Holding the antidote, Yunbei pulled out the poisonous weeds and gave them to Wang Dahua for identification.

Afterwards, she returned to her home with Wang Dahua.

At this time, Wang Dahahua's man was lying on the bed, and his complexion was much better than at the beginning.

Seeing Yunbei and Wang Dahua return, the patient's parents immediately came over and asked, "How is it going? Have you found the antidote?"

"I found it, don't worry." Wang Dahua said as he looked at the few blades of grass in Yunbei's hand.

After asking Wang Dahua where the water was, Yunbei went straight to wash the antidote, then asked her for a bowl and crushed the antidote. He then gave the resulting medicine juice to Wang Dahua and asked her to feed it to the patient.

Because the man was still asleep and had his mouth tightly shut, Wang Dahua couldn't feed him the medicine. Yunbei had no choice but to give him another injection, forcing him to open his mouth, and then feed him the antidote.

Wang Dahua breathed a sigh of relief when she saw her man finish drinking the antidote. Then she looked at him without blinking, waiting for him to wake up.

Yunbei didn't leave either. She was surrounded by villagers who asked her to help with their medical treatment.

It didn't matter anyway, and Yunbei also had to wait for the patient to wake up, so he asked Wang Dahahua's parents-in-law for a table and a stool, and started to see the patient for free.

Just as I saw the third person, Wang Dahua's voice came from the house.

"He's awake, he's awake!" she shouted as she ran out of the house and said to her parents-in-law, "Dad, Mom, Gangzi is awake."

"Really!" Gangzi's parents were surprised and happy, and ran into the room together. Seeing that their son had woken up, a smile appeared on their faces and they said, "That's great, Gangzi finally woke up."

Then they asked, "Gangzi, how do you feel now? Are you still feeling uncomfortable?"

"I don't have much strength, and my legs hurt a little, but otherwise I'm fine."

After hearing this, they became worried again. Then they walked outside and said to Yun Bei, who was treating the villagers, "Doctor Yun, Gangzi said he has no strength and his legs hurt. Could you please take another look at him?"

"Okay, wait until I finish examining this patient." Yun Bei nodded. Since she had taken action, she naturally had to cure the patient.

After seeing the patient, Yunbei entered the room and first took Gangzi's pulse to make sure the poison in his body had been eliminated. Then he smiled and said, "It's okay, the poison has been eliminated. As for the pain in the wound, just apply the herbal medicine you used earlier. In two days, the pain in your leg will go away."

"I understand. Thank you, Dr. Yun." Gangzi's family thanked Yunbei, and then asked Wang Dahua to apply the medicine to Gangzi.

After making sure that Gangzi was fine, Yunbei also planned to return to the city.

When Wang Dahua heard Yun Bei was about to leave, she immediately tried to stop him, saying, "Doctor Yun, please have dinner first. You saved my son Gangzi, and we don't have much to repay you for. Please stay for dinner."

Yunbei refused with a smile.

The living conditions of every household are not very good now, and Yunbei will not stay and add to the burden on others.

Seeing that Yunbei insisted on leaving, Wang Dahua's family had no choice but to borrow a bicycle and give her some mountain products that they had dried at home. Then Wang Dahua rode the bicycle and took Yunbei to the county town.

At first Yunbei was reluctant, but she was too shy to refuse. Finally, she got on the bicycle.

When they arrived at the county town, Yunbei gave some snacks to Wang Dahahua as a return gift and thanks to her.

After seeing Wang Dahua off, Yunbei saw that it was getting late, so he took his lunch box and headed to the cafeteria to eat. Unexpectedly, he ran into Zhou Qin.

When Zhou Qin saw Yunbei, her face wasn't a face, her nose wasn't a nose. Because not only did she fail to plot against Yunbei yesterday, but she was called in for questioning instead.

If she didn't have someone behind her, she would probably still be stuck in the police station like those people. Therefore, it would be strange for her to be nice to Yunbei.

Not only that, when Yunbei prepared the meal, she deliberately acted careless and bumped into the other person.
