Chapter 425 The Problem

When Yang saw Yunbei enter the kitchen, she thought she wanted to drink water, so she immediately took out a clean bowl and scooped a bowl of water for her.

Yunbei saw a bowl of water handed to him and was stunned for a moment before taking it and drinking it.

After drinking the water, she thanked Yang and said, "Aunt, you seem very busy all by yourself. Let me help you light the fire. This way, you can relax a little."

After hearing this, Yang looked at Yunbei in surprise, smiled and shook her head, and said, "No need, I'm used to working alone. You can go and rest outside. We'll be able to eat soon."

However, Yunbei did not go out, but took the initiative to help light the fire. Yang looked at him and did not chase him away. After all, who would be dissatisfied if they could relax a little?

Yunbei was lighting a fire while chatting with Yang.

Yang also wanted to remind Yunbei that her son had a fiancée, so she started chatting with Yunbei.

After a few words, Yunbei understood what Yang was trying to say and said with a smile, "Aunt, I'm still young and don't want to find a partner yet. When I want to find one, I'll ask you for help."

"No problem. Then I'll introduce you to the good guy I know."

Knowing that Yunbei had no interest in her son, Yang felt relieved and was no longer so wary of Yunbei.

As they chatted, Yunbei started talking about how he walked around the village in the morning and didn't see the little girl.

After hearing this, Yang glanced at Yunbei and said, "Our village is different from other villages. Girls will suffer if we keep them here. It's better to send them away from home from a young age. At least they can have enough food and clothes and survive."

Yunbei heard the hidden meaning in Yang's words, but he couldn't ask further. Otherwise, his purpose would be too obvious.

Moreover, she didn't know whether Yang and the kidnapper were in cahoots. If she continued asking, she might expose herself and get into trouble.

Therefore, she smiled and agreed: "That's true. Fortunately, there are kind people who help, otherwise those children would be in great trouble."

"A kind-hearted person, perhaps." Yang said with some sarcasm.

Yunbei glanced at Yang and lowered her head to add some more fire to the stove. She was just about to ask around to find out where the children had been sent when she heard Yang say, "Xiao Jiang, there's no need to light the fire. Go tell them it's time to eat."

"Okay!" Yunbei nodded, got up and left the kitchen.

Yang glanced at her back, then quickly looked away. She then squatted down in front of the stove and continued to light the fire.

She wasn't stupid, so she naturally understood Yunbei's intentions. But there were some things she wouldn't say, let alone say, even if she knew.

Because there is no point in saying it, and it may even harm the people in the village.

After Yunbei left the kitchen, she went to find the others and told them that it was time to eat. She knew that Yang knew what she had just wanted to know, but she didn't want to tell her, or rather, she didn't dare to tell her.

It seemed she had been too impatient. She didn't know if Yang would tell Guo Biao about this. If he asked, she would have to find a way to cover it up.

Fortunately, Guo Biao did not look for her until Yunbei and the others left at night, which made her feel relieved.

However, what Yunbei didn't know was that as soon as they left, Guo Biao called Brother Hu in the provincial capital and told him about her appearance and the abnormality of Jiang Yan and the others.

After listening to this, Brother Hu had already thought of a countermeasure and was waiting for Yunbei to come.

After several hours of travel, they finally arrived at the destination at midnight. Once they arrived, Yunbei and the others were taken to a house, while their car and the girls in it were taken to another place.

"Xiao Wu, why did you bring us here?" Jiang Yan's face looked a little bad.

"Brother Hu told me to do that." Xiao Wu said, closed the door, and left.

After Xiao Wu left, Lao Er and the others looked at Jiang Yan and asked, "Sister Yan, what does Brother Hu mean by this? We came all the way here to send people here, and he won't let anyone entertain us. Why is he locking us up here instead?"

After hearing this, Jiang Yan did not answer, but looked at Yun Bei.

Everyone followed Jiang Yan's gaze and looked at Yunbei. They understood the problem and their faces instantly turned ugly.

"Why are you looking at me?" Yun Bei was not stupid, so he naturally understood what was in their eyes.

"Sister, what do you think we should do?" Jiang Yan asked. Brother Hu's methods of dealing with traitors were very cruel. Although she had never seen it, she had heard of it.

"Wait!" Yunbei replied calmly. No matter what Brother Hu wanted to do, he would take action.

After hearing Yunbei's words, Jiang Yan thought about it and felt that it made sense. Because now, they had no other choice but to wait.

Go out, the door is locked. Besides, this is Brother Hu's territory, even if they run out, they can't get far.

"Okay, then let's wait and see what Brother Hu is going to do."

The others didn't say much after hearing Jiang Yan's words, but they were filled with resentment towards Yun Bei.

I think it was Yunbei's fault that Brother Hu treated them like this.

Yunbei glanced at a few people lightly and closed his eyes to rest.

"How are they?"

In the living room, Brother Hu sat on the sofa, smoking and asking his subordinates.

"It's very quiet."

"Really?" Brother Hu was a little surprised. Jiang Yan and her group were so calm that they didn't even start a fight.

After all, they were considered veterans, so being treated like this was something they should be angry about. If they were angry, they naturally had to express it.

"Yes!"

"Let's go and take a look." Brother Hu said as he stood up and walked towards the room where Yunbei and the others were imprisoned.

Yun Bei, who was resting with his eyes closed, opened his eyes when he heard footsteps and said to Jiang Yan and the others, "Someone is coming."

Hearing Yunbei's voice, Jiang Yan and others stood up and looked towards the door.

Soon, they heard Brother Hu's voice. He was ordering his men to open the door.

"Open the door."

As soon as the door opened, Brother Hu and his men appeared in front of Yunbei.

Looking at the man in the lead with a cigarette in his mouth, Yun Bei's pupils suddenly shrank.

It’s actually him!

Brother Hu, what are you doing?

Yunbei never dreamed that the Brother Hu in front of her was actually the gang leader Hu Wei whom she had seen on TV in her previous life.

However, the Hu Wei in front of him was several decades younger than the one on TV in his previous life.

"Brother Hu, you're here!" Jiang Yan and the others looked respectful when they saw Brother Hu.

Yunbei lowered his head slightly to hide his shock. He was thinking that before becoming the leader of a gang, Hu Wei had actually been involved in trafficking children and women.

"Yeah!" Hu Wei responded indifferently, his eyes quickly swept over several people, and finally stopped on Yun Bei.
