Chapter 324 Murder
"I'm sorry, Maggie, that was just a temporary measure to keep you calm and prevent you from doing anything foolish." Wen Ni lowered her eyes, her ears twitching slightly.
"W-what? You're kidding me?" Maggie swayed, losing all strength as she leaned against the sink.
It's like the light you keep chasing in the dark suddenly going out, leaving you unable to see your hand in front of your face and nowhere to turn!
A tall, imposing man walked in, his deep voice laced with amusement. "If you ask me, Hua Ying has the best sense of justice. She can't escape anyway, so she might as well stay obediently, serve like a slave, and please others; at least she can barely survive."
“Manager Parker.” Wen Ni propped herself up and stood up.
She looked at the middle-aged man dressed in silver, who looked quite respectable.
Maggie bit her lip tightly, remaining silent, her eyes lifeless.
"Maggie, what are you still standing here for?" Pike glanced at her sideways and said irritably, "Don't you know how much trouble you've caused? Go to Sister Sa and get your punishment!"
"Hua Ying, come with me for a moment."
"Yes, manager."
Wen Ni followed behind with her eyes lowered.
Maggie straightened up, watching their departing figures, a hint of worry in her eyes…
Wen Ni was led out of the back door by Parker and arrived at a secluded corner in the backyard of the club.
Looking around at the empty park and the layered mountains under the moonlight, breathing in the long-lost outdoor air, only at this moment did the true value of the word "freedom" become fully realized!
This was the first time Wen Ni had stepped out of the clubhouse in more than half a month.
With those layers of security, without someone of Parker's caliber to guide you, it would be impossible to escape!
"You thought you were being clever enough to save Maggie, but you've only gotten yourself into trouble!" Pike said, facing Wenni and lighting a cigarette.
Wen Ni leaned against the wall, looking at him. "What do you mean by that, Manager?"
“That group of guests are our VIPs, they’re bisexual! He just came to me and said he’s taken a liking to you, and wants me to find time to clean you up and send you to his bed!” Parker took a drag of his cigarette, his eyes glazed over. “A woman like Maggie, if she stays here, she’ll only end up as a bed slave for everyone to ride. You can save her for a while, but not forever, and in the end you’ll just end up hurting yourself too. Is it worth it?”
"Manager, you called me out just to say this?" Wen Ni didn't answer his question, but instead asked him back with a wary look in her eyes.
Parker paused, his hand holding the cigarette trembling, his eyes filled with an unreadable emotion. "What? You're not going to beg me to protect you? Or are you just itching to climb into another man's bed?"
"Manager, will you protect me?" Wen Ni looked at Parker, smiled dismissively, and denied herself, "Manager, how could you possibly protect me?"
Parker looked at her, his eyes growing even deeper.
He stubbed out the cigarette between his fingers, suddenly moved closer, and braced one hand against the wall behind Wen Ni. His ambiguous breath, mixed with the smell of smoke, sprayed into her ear. "Take off your pants."
What are you doing?
"Fuck you." Parker uttered two words in a low voice, grabbed Wen Ni's short hair with his other hand, pressed her against the wall, and frantically pulled at her waistband with his other hand. "The first day you came here, I fucking took a liking to you. Your skin is so delicate. If I made you cry, it would look really good, wouldn't it?"
"Aren't you afraid Ban Gou will find out about what you're doing?!" Wen Ni's face was pressed against the wall, her tone panicked and she was breathing heavily, but her eyes were calm and clear!
With just a glance, she noticed a shadowy figure hidden in the darkness.
They've come at just the right time!
"So what if you know? You're going to end up in someone else's bed sooner or later anyway, so I might as well have some fun first! As long as you submit to me, I'll protect you while you're at the club! No one will dare to bully you!"
“But I can protect myself without you,” Wen Ni said expressionlessly.
"Stop talking nonsense!" Parker sneered, his fingers already flicking open his belt buckle.
The pants were loosely tied around the waist.
A green fragment, gleaming with a sharp edge, suddenly flashed by!
A cold, clear light shone through the moonlight, finally landing on Parker's neck and slicing through his delicate skin, causing blood to gush out!
Parker was taken aback at first!
When he finally realized what was happening, he quickly widened his eyes and covered his neck! But his carotid artery had been severed, and the gushing blood was impossible to stop!
He collapsed to the ground like a showerhead out of control.
In any case, Parker never expected that this waiter would actually lay a hand on him!
He moved backward in fear and anger, opening his mouth but unable to utter a sound! He could only blame himself for having malicious intentions and sending away the patrolling bodyguards in advance.
No one will come here anytime soon.
Under the moonlight, in the dark night
Wen Ni stood tall against the moonlight, slowly fastening her belt and tucking the blood-stained shard of glass into her bosom.
She then walked up to Parker, took off his shoes, and stuffed his socks into his mouth! She lifted one leg and stepped on Parker's chest, applying pressure little by little!
His handsome face was gloomy and sinister.
A pair of bright eyes, tinged with death!
"Go to hell."
Wen Ni casually tossed out three words.
The figure who had been watching the commotion from around the corner suddenly stepped out!
Without even looking up, Wen Ni already knew it was Ban Gou!
"Help, help me!" Pike also noticed Ban Gou's presence. He covered his neck with one hand and struggled to crawl towards Ban Gou with the other.
Blood stained the ground, and when he crawled to Ban Gou's feet, he was already on the verge of death!
Ban Gou lowered his head and gave Pike a deep look.
He reached into his robes and pulled out a pistol! The dark muzzle was pointed directly at Pike's forehead. In Pike's dilated pupils, the last thing he saw was Ban Gou's cold-blooded and ruthless face!
The gunshots attracted the attention of patrolling bodyguards.
Seeing Pike lying on the ground and Ban Gou holding a gun, the bodyguards didn't dare to go forward. They stood aside, heads bowed, waiting for instructions.
Wen Ni remained standing in the same spot, her back straight, facing Ban Gou, who was wiping his gun with his head down.
"Hua Ying, you've got some nerve, daring to kill someone on my turf. Do you know what the consequences will be?"
"I didn't think that much about it. I just didn't want to be bullied." Wen Ni lowered her head, seemingly in regret.
Ban Gou raised his pistol again and aimed it at her head.
"A life for a life, do you understand now?"
"A life for a life? In a place like this, is there any fairness to speak of? It's clearly a dog-eat-dog world, and only the survivors are in power!" Wen Ni's voice carried suppressed mockery and trembled slightly. "I was more decisive than him, more ruthless than him. Killing him is enough to prove that I was stronger than him. I survived, and I can do even better than him!"
“But your brother is Ge Gang, a traitor.” Ban Gou’s gaze was gloomy.
“He is him, and I am me. I am different from my brother; he is a coward. It is his fear and his timidity that have led to my sister Maggie and me ending up like this!” Wen Ni raised the corners of her lips sarcastically. “He is too foolish; he will never understand the principle that only the strong have the right to survive!”
Disdain, longing, pursuit, fall.
A multitude of emotions swept over us, moving us deeply and touching our hearts!
“Ya-bi told me you were a bit interesting, but I didn’t take it seriously at first. Now it seems I underestimated you.” Ban Gou slowly lowered the gun in his hand. “If you want to replace Parker and become the new manager, you have to do something to gain my and everyone’s approval.”
"What does Brother Ban Gou want me to do?"
"I want you to kill someone."
