Chapter 334 Disguised Beast
"Why did he kill his brother?" Wen Ni asked curiously.
"How would I know?" Ban Gou sneered. "I only know that people called me a beast, he's even worse than a beast! His whole family basically died at his hands!"
“Even you, Brother Ban Gou, find it hard to accept, so it must be really cruel.”
"Don't think I can't tell you're insulting me." Ban Gou glared back. "You're getting bolder and bolder. Don't blame me for not warning you, keep your mouth shut and stick close to me when we go inside!"
“I understand, Brother Ban Gou.”
Wen Ni agreed verbally and followed.
Upon entering the hotel lobby, they headed straight for a blank, high wall on the side of the lobby.
The sound of the gears turning echoed, and soon a crack appeared in half of the wall, which then automatically rotated 45 degrees.
Before them lay a European-style castle staircase spiraling downwards, with wall lamps hanging on both sides, exuding an ancient and mysterious aura!
Wen Ni walked down the stairs
After turning the last circle of steps, she paused!
What comes into view is a large open space of sand, with countless bright spotlights hanging from one side of the canopy above it. Surrounding it are tiered seating areas, arranged in pairs, with railings for protection on each level.
here……
It's like a miniature version of the ancient Roman Colosseum!
"Look, Brother Huaying is dumbfounded again."
On the far right, in the front row, Blind Assassin sat there, with his servants standing beside him.
Ban Gou strode forward and sat down next to Blind Assassin, not even bothering to glance at him.
Wen Ni followed closely behind, lowered her eyes, and silently took a step, standing to the left of Ban Gou as... [a servant]!
After everyone was seated
The host, dressed in a tuxedo and wearing a feather mask, made a passionate entrance.
"To celebrate the cooperation between our two chambers of commerce, the bosses of both sides have spared no expense to make this grand and spectacular gathering possible! I hope everyone will relax and enjoy themselves tonight!"
"Alright! Let's begin tonight's first show... the entertainment performance!!!"
As the drumbeats blared, a group of scantily clad young women wearing veils carried plates of exquisite dishes, handing them to the guests on small tables.
Wen Ni stood there, oblivious to the delicious food.
From the moment she entered, she kept searching with her eyes for any familiar figure!
But no.
Not a single one.
Is Williams not with the Imperial Alliance Chamber of Commerce? Or is he with the Fujing Chamber of Commerce?
Amidst all the guessing, the music and drumbeats suddenly changed.
Major key becomes minor key!
A sinister atmosphere instantly enveloped the entire underground area!
Wen Ni unconsciously turned her gaze to the center of the arena.
Suddenly, a beam of light shone down!
The bright white light fell there, illuminating two women in white dresses with disheveled hair!
No.
More accurately, it was a mother and a five-year-old girl...
They lay prostrate on the ground, their exposed arms and calves bearing several bloody whip marks that tore their skin apart!
"Aww!"
A beastly roar that shook the earth suddenly rang out.
The crowd below immediately erupted in excitement!
In a dark corner, iron bars rose and fell, and a fully grown tiger, half a person's height, with its sharp, long claws gleaming, walked gracefully in!
The tiger's belly was empty; it hadn't eaten.
"What are they going to do?" Wen Ni's pupils contracted, and she felt a sense of unease.
"Choose one of the two," Ban Gou blurted out, popping a peanut into his mouth.
"What do you mean, 'either/or'?!"
"Fate." Ban Gou said.
“Ban Gou’s statement is inaccurate.” Blind Assassin, who had been watching them closely, chuckled softly, his eyes crinkling as he looked up at Wen Ni. “It should be, a choice between two ways to die.”
"Death...method?"
"Awooo! Grunting and puffing!"
In just a few seconds of conversation.
Wen Ni turned around and saw a woman in the center of the field, half of her body held in the jaws of a tiger!
The woman's arms and legs hung limply at her sides.
The bright red splattered on the sand and gravel was particularly eye-catching!
To protect her daughter, that woman bravely lunged at the vicious tiger! She gave her life to fill the beast's belly, hoping it wouldn't eat her child after it was full!
My stomach churned involuntarily.
His eyes were bloodshot with anger.
But Wen Ni's face couldn't have even the slightest extra expression!
She stiffly turned her head to look at the guests on the steps, including Ban Gou, who were laughing loudly and eating the food and wine on their plates with even greater relish.
These people are worse than animals!
"Mother……"
"Mother!"
The little girl on the stage broke down in tears, all alone.
The crying stopped abruptly the next second. Her face turned pale with fear. Her small body was grabbed by the back of her collar by the host like a bag of goods, her feet off the ground. No matter how frantically she kicked and struggled, it was all in vain!
"Fresh organs, does anyone here need them?"
"I want!"
"I want one too!"
"Me too! I can pay double!"
The demons beneath him eagerly raised their hands.
Wen Ni's hands, hanging by her sides, trembled uncontrollably.
It wasn't fear, it wasn't terror, but rather an unventable anger and hatred!
Sitting in her seat, Ban Gou, slowly munching on his steak, glanced at her sideways and teased, "What? You can't even handle this much?"
"..." Wen Ni remained silent, not moving an inch.
"Hua Ying, you said it yourself. You said you're different from Ge Gang, that you want to become stronger, that you want to climb up! In this dog-eat-dog world, the strong rule! That's it! Do you see? The weak can only wait to be slaughtered, completely powerless to fight back!"
"Pfft!"
The last syllable of the words was accompanied by the sound of a sharp dagger in the center of the arena slicing through a child's tender skin!
Wen Ni's eyes widened slightly as she looked incredulously at the blade stained crimson.
The vibrant, beating heart was immediately placed into a medical transport box for preservation, and then handed over by the grinning devil to the person who had bought it for a huge sum of money!
Her mutilated, lifeless body was abandoned and sacrificed to the jaws of a bloodthirsty beast! And then, right before everyone's eyes, she and her mother were torn apart and subjected to a slow, agonizing death!
"All Chinese people are worthless!"
"How can pigs and dogs compare to our noble bloodline?"
Blind Thrust and Spotted Structure each said one sentence.
They stared intently as they took a large bite of lamb chop alongside the wild beast, the half-cooked blood dripping from their mouths and chins.
They are truly savages, beasts in human form!
Wen Ni turned around stiffly.
Compared to this cruelty, the clubhouse she had transformed into a greenhouse was like a completely different world!
This made her careless, and she even forgot that a wolf in sheep's clothing is ultimately not a human!
Looking closely at the blood-red color on the stage, the crimson in her eyes gradually faded, and her tightly clenched hands slowly loosened!
With just a blink, the turbulent emotions within instantly subside into a deathly stillness.
"Hua Ying, come on, try this grilled steak!" Ban Gou seemed to be doing it on purpose; he carefully selected a steak and handed it to Wen Ni.
That steak was only cooked on the outside; the inside was all raw and bright red!
Then I recalled the cruel scene of the mother and daughter's tragic deaths.
How could anyone else possibly eat a single bite?!
"What's wrong? Can't you eat?"
“I can eat it.” Wen Ni reached out and took the food. “Brother Ban Gou is right. It’s survival of the fittest. Only the victors have the right to enjoy good food!”
If she wants to fit in with them, she has to become one of them first!
A sheep that infiltrates a herd of beasts, intending to kill them, must first accept becoming one of them, disguised as a beast itself…
Chewing it was tasteless and bland.
"How does it taste?"
"tasty."
"This whole plate is yours! Eat more!"
