Chapter 116 Cripple Her Hands

Chapter 116 Cripple Her Hands

When I tried to call him again, his phone was switched off.

Luo Shu was panting heavily from exhaustion.

If she hadn't been exhausted by Yu Zhan last night, her legs wouldn't be so tired.

Her hands were shaking violently as she shakily opened Ye Fou's WeChat and made a video call to him. Ye Fou had only left not long ago and was probably still in the hospital.

Seeing the man running up from downstairs, he scoffed, "Where do you think you're going?"

Luo Shu realized that the man was a minor. She calmed herself down, looked at the man downstairs, and was about to go upstairs when she noticed that someone else was coming upstairs as well.

——

When Yu Zhan came out of the restroom, he saw his phone lying on the ground. He bent down, picked it up, and turned it off.

"I'm sorry, I accidentally bumped into it when I was getting water. Please check if it's broken." Mu Bu lay half-reclined on the bed with difficulty, the color slowly returning to his face.

Yu Zhan ignored her.

However, the blush on Mubu's face had not yet faded.

The moment she saw Yu Zhan standing tall beside her, fiddling with his phone, she was reminded of the intense scene between him and Luo Shu earlier.

She fantasized that the woman in Yu Zhan's arms was herself, and that the woman lying beside him was her.

Her face flushed red again.

What woman wouldn't like a man like Yu Zhan?

Yu Zhan opened his phone and saw several missed calls from Luo Shu. He figured she hadn't returned for over half an hour, so something must have delayed her.

He called her back, but no one answered.

Luo Shu's phone rang incessantly in the fire escape stairwell. He called several times, but no one answered.

He frowned.

Does this woman not want to answer the phone?

He opened WeChat and sent her a message.

But his messages and phone calls went unanswered.

——

On top of an unfinished building.

Luo Shu was tied to a dilapidated chair, unable to move her hands and feet, her mouth stuffed with a scarf, and her fair face hidden under her messy blonde hair.

Sitting directly opposite were three underage thugs.

She vaguely remembered that the man downstairs dragged her down by her feet, and then the man upstairs beat her unconscious with a stick, put her in a sack, and she could vaguely hear someone driving when she was put into the car.

She groaned softly, the sharp pain in her shoulder preventing her from sitting upright; she could only lean against the chair, her mind buzzing.

She didn't know if Ye Fou had answered the video call she made earlier. As the man dragged her downstairs, her phone fell from the building and landed somewhere unknown.

"Just get the money according to plan, no matter how pretty it is, don't touch it," the man in charge of driving said.

"You guys don't dare, but I'm not afraid. I haven't enjoyed it yet!" said an older young man, wiping his nose while eating fast food.

Luo Shu looked at him; he appeared to be just coming of age.

"It's better not to do this kind of thing. It's the New Year, and the higher-ups said to cripple her hand. That's fine, but anything else is a bit too much." Another young man couldn't argue with that, but he also tried to dissuade her.

"They only said they crippled her hand, but didn't say we couldn't touch her. They told us to figure it out ourselves..."

As Luo Shu listened to their conversation, she carefully tried to untie the rope behind her back, but the rope was tied in a tight knot and was painfully so.

She broke out in a cold sweat, tears welling in her eyes, pondering their intentions.

These three men wanted to cripple her hands.

Her hands are for designing; if her hands are ruined, her whole life is ruined!

She thought of two people who were so cruel and inhumane as to try to take her hand as revenge.

One is Su Ting. Needless to say, they are both designers, and their hands are their lifeblood.

The second is Qin Heng. All of Qin Heng's pain this year came from Luo Shu, but in the end, it was his own fault.

Actually, there was another person in her mind, and that was Mu Bu.

According to Ye Fou, she is not a good person. She managed to get herself into the hospital and suffer such great harm. What else is she capable of?

She didn't think much about it; the most important thing right now was to escape this place.

She tried every possible way to untie the ropes binding her.

But they couldn't untie it even after they finished eating. Instead, their wrists were covered in red welts, and the more they struggled, the more it hurt.

The older boy walked over with a toothpick in his mouth and gray slippers dangling from his feet.

Luo Shu's pupils dilated, and she tried to back away slightly, but she couldn't.

He ruthlessly pulled the scarf out of his mouth, leaving his lips burning and stinging from the scarf.

With her mouth constantly covered, she was coughing because it was so dry. She lowered her head, and the tension in her jaw eased.

But just then, the young man gripped her pointed chin with his thumb and forefinger, leaving red marks on her fair chin and deforming it as if he were about to break her in two.

"pain!"

Luo Shu managed to squeeze out a single word, tears welling up in the corners of her eyes, passing by her ear, and falling onto her shoulder.

"That's good, miss!" The toothpick in the young man's mouth moved to a different position near his lips.

He tilted his head and sized up Luo Shu.

The two young men beside him didn't dare to make a move; they just stood by, frowning and watching. It seemed they rarely did such things, otherwise they wouldn't be sweating in the dead of winter.

The young man casually flicked her chin away from his hand, then took two steps back, his lips curled up, his brows furrowed with delight.

Luo Shu felt like her neck was about to be broken by him, and she almost lost all strength to turn around.

"Get ready to take pictures." He tilted his head, spat out the toothpick from the corner of his mouth, licked his lips with his red tongue, and looked like he was still not satisfied.

"Young man, are you really going to do this?" The leaner young man on the left looked at the beautiful woman with some lingering fear.

"Damn it, how are people supposed to believe us if we don't take pictures?" The young man winked and slapped the young man next to him on the head.

The young man staggered a couple of steps, hunched over, and didn't dare look him in the eye. He could only do as he was told, his body trembling.

His hands trembled as he walked toward Luo Shu.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Luo Shu gritted her teeth, looking at his timid appearance.

“You’re a minor, so you can do whatever you want without any problems. But he’s an adult, so why won’t he do it? He’s trying to shift the blame onto you! If you both get arrested, his case will be less serious, but you’ll both be reprimanded and detained…”

"You're asking for it!" As soon as he finished speaking, the young man pushed aside the younger man next to him and slapped Luo Shu across the face without hesitation.

"Ah! Cough cough..." The strong smell of blood filled my throat.

The two young men standing nearby were terrified; they hadn't even considered this level.

They were just doing their job for money, grabbing people and taking a few photos; they really didn't want to make a big fuss.
