Chapter 246 It's Him
While Luo Shu was asleep, Yu Zhan got up.
He left through the door wearing a bathrobe.
Li Hai stood guard at the door, yawning. When the door was gently opened, he immediately stood up straight.
He didn't speak until Yu Zhan closed the door.
“She’s getting ready to come back,” Li Hai said softly.
Yu Zhan had a deathly smile on his lips.
The two walked together to another room, swiped their room cards, and went inside.
The room was dark, and wisps of smoke rose from the flickering fire between Yu Zhan's fingers.
He crossed his legs, and in his other hand he held a string of Buddhist prayer beads, which he casually twirled.
The room was filled with smoke, which made Li Hai swallow carefully.
At that moment, the door opened, and Su Ting entered.
The moment she opened the door, a thick smell of smoke hit her nose, and a chill ran down her spine. The smoke, carrying a sense of danger, rushed towards her, and Su Ting knew she couldn't escape.
She had only stepped halfway into the room when her hands were grabbed and held up. She was so panicked that she screamed.
But soon a slap landed on her face, the room lights came on, and Su Ting fell silent.
The arrogance she possessed was completely suppressed the moment it was unleashed.
Yu Zhan smiled slightly at one corner of his lips.
"Long time no see." He leaned back on the sofa.
His bathrobe lay loosely open over his chest, revealing his muscular skin.
Yu Zhan, his eyes half-closed, lit another cigarette, casually exhaling smoke rings. The metal lighter was tossed onto the coffee table, making a clattering sound.
The shock made Su Ting's heart tremble.
Two bodyguards dragged the man over and threw him at Yu Zhan's feet.
Su Ting was terrified. She frantically pulled her limbs back on the ground, and her face began to look unnatural.
The bodyguard went out, closed the door, and stood guard at the entrance.
"What, not saying anything now?"
Yu Zhan rested his elbows on his knees, bending down to look at the trembling person in front of him.
He had once liked this woman, but an accident made him see her true colors.
Su Ting thought that Yu Zhan knew nothing, and that at least they could talk about their past friendship.
But her tricks were nothing to Yu Zhan.
"I'm sorry, it was me, I was out of my mind..." Su Ting already knew Yu Zhan's true colors when she was abroad.

"Didn't you want to be Mrs. Yu? What? You've changed your mind?" he sneered.
Su heard a mocking tone coming from his mouth, and he took in the embarrassing sight of Su being exposed.
His methods these past two days have been more restrained than usual, probably because Luo Shu is with him and he doesn't have time to deal with Su Ting.
Besides, Luo Shu also taught her a lesson.
She thought Yu Zhan would let her go, but she was too naive.
"What do you want?" Su Ting asked humbly, hoping to bring Yu Zhan back to his senses.
Yu Zhan sneered, slowly released his grip, and leaned back on the sofa, still fiddling with the Buddhist prayer beads in his hand.
"Don't worry, I won't kill any animals this year."
His nonchalant attitude sent chills down Su Ting's spine.
He glanced at Li Hai, got up, put on his slippers, and walked out in a nonchalant manner.
Su Ting plopped down on the ground, collapsing limply.
"I'm sorry, Miss Su, please forgive me." Li Hai nodded politely to her.

Luo Shu couldn't remember when Yu Zhan left.
All she remembered was his sexy, deep voice saying, "Good morning, take care of yourself."
She seemed to respond vaguely, but then again, she didn't; she couldn't quite remember.
As the warmth in his lower abdomen receded, Yu Zhan's aura also left.
When Luo Shu got up, Yu Yu was sitting in her living room having breakfast.
"Damn it, why are you up so early?" Luo Shu was stunned for two seconds.
Yu Yu smiled and said, "I told you yesterday that I would get up for a morning run. I just happened to run into your husband as I was leaving, so I came in and brought you breakfast."
"So you've come here to apologize?" Luo Shu glanced at the breakfast on the table.
Soy milk, fried dough sticks, and some local pancakes whose names I don't know.
This way, we won't have to go out anymore.
Yu Yu chuckled and quietly asked, "Were you surprised last night? If you weren't pregnant, I doubt you would have gotten up this early this morning."
"Yu Yu, how can you be so shameless?"
Luo Shu felt flushed. Talking about this in front of everyone was a bit too open, and she felt like she was about to blush.
"What's wrong? You're an adult, what are you shy about?" Yu Yu grinned mischievously, urging her to hurry up and wash up.
"What's going on between you and Shen Yan?" Luo Shu asked after she finished washing up.
Yu Yu pouted, "What could possibly happen? It's just like that."
Yu Yu did go to see Shen Yan that day, but Shen Yan had just been rejected the night before, so he didn't want to bring it up again, and the two of them ended up not talking about anything.
Luo Shu sighed. Why did these two have to keep their relationship secret? She sat down and started eating breakfast.
"Have you never thought about marrying Shen Yan?" Luo Shu asked.
"Not wanting to get married has nothing to do with Shen Yan." Yu Yu calmly sipped her porridge. "Guess who I saw this morning."
She seemed completely indifferent to Shen Yan's situation.
Luo Shu didn't know what to say to her.
Who did you see?
"Ye Fou, and Su Ting too." Yu Yu gossiped, putting down the breakfast in her hand. "Ye Fou was wearing a mask and left in a hurry early this morning. Su Ting was also wearing a mask, but it looked like her face had been slapped; it was swollen beyond recognition, and she was even walking unsteadily. Do you think something happened between them?"
“…” Luo Shu paused, she knew that Ye Fou had been beaten.
But there's no way he could be associated with Su Ting.
"Ye Fou was beaten by Yu Zhan last night," Luo Shu said calmly.
"What?!" Yu Yu seemed to have heard some earth-shattering news. She leaned closer, looking like she was watching a spectacle unfold. "How did they fight? Why did they fight?"
Luo Shu smiled and looked at Yu Yu. To be honest, if it weren't for Yu Yu, Yu Zhan probably wouldn't have been able to find a suitable excuse to beat up Ye Fou.
She told Yu Yu everything that had happened last night.
Yu Yu let out a long, envious "Wow!"
"Your husband is so fierce!"
I never expected the plot to take this turn.
"Ye Fou probably thinks you were wronged by Yu Zhan, so he wants to be the one to take over." Yu Yu smiled and nudged her arm. "You've run into all the good men."
The two smiled and remained silent for a moment before quietly eating their breakfast.
Suddenly, Luo Shu spoke up.
“A few years ago when we went skiing in Switzerland, I bumped into a guy, do you remember?” Luo Shu’s face showed a hint of shyness.
"I remember!" Yu Yu said, still a little excited. "That guy picked you up in one go! My god, I felt like his biceps were that big!" Yu Yu gestured. "That guy must have had eight-pack abs. It's a pity I didn't find him back then, otherwise I would have had a passionate love affair with him."
After Yu finished speaking, he paused for a moment and looked at Luo Shu's smiling expression.
She asked tentatively, "That man isn't your husband, is he?"
"Yes, that's him."
Yu Yu looked shocked.
She really found true love.
