Chapter 44 May all our wishes come true
The two of them stood there quietly, admiring the moon.
After an unknown amount of time, a phone call from Su Luoluo broke the tranquil and harmonious atmosphere.
"Qianqian, where did you go? There are wishing balls over here on the stage, come back quickly."
After hanging up the phone, Sang Qian and the other person returned to the open-air restaurant.
As soon as they saw them coming, Yan Guizhi immediately handed a pink water balloon to Sang Qian.
"Sister Sang Qian, come and write down your wish. We'll put the wishing ball into the sea together later."
Sang Qian took it and saw that the ball was filled with water and had a groove in the middle where a note could be placed.
"Here's a note and a pen for you."
Yan Guizhi handed the pen to Sang Qian, and seeing Jin Changyu standing beside her, he casually asked, "Mr. Jin, are you going to release it?"
Jin Changyu glanced at the colorful balls on the table; they were all little toys for children and girls.
Upon seeing Sang Qian's enthusiastic expression, his refusal transformed into:
"Give me one."
Upon hearing this, Sang Qian turned around and looked at him in surprise.
He plays this game too?
Yan Guizhi handed him a blue water balloon.
Jin Changyu sat next to Sang Qian and saw her carefully writing on a piece of paper: "May the baby come to my side safely."
Jin Changyu watched as she carefully and devoutly stuffed the note into the wishing ball.
The next second, he also picked up a pen and wrote a wish on a piece of paper, then put it into the blue wishing ball.
Suddenly, a large number of people appeared on this side of the railing.
Everyone is throwing wishing balls into the sea.
Jin Changyu squeezed out enough space in the crowd before carefully pulling Sang Qian to the railing.
Sang Qian saw many colorful wishing balls floating on the sea.
When she threw her wishing ball, she noticed that a blue wishing ball flew out along almost the same arc as hers, and both of them landed in the sea.
For a fleeting moment, Sang Qian's heart skipped a beat.
She turned her head sharply to look at the man beside her. The soft moonlight shone on his handsome face, making his smiling eyes appear extremely gentle.
"Qianqian, Happy Mid-Autumn Festival."
"I hope all our wishes come true."
He spoke to her softly.
Sang Qian's pupils trembled slightly as she stared at him, lost in thought.
"Wow, Brother Dahai, you threw that far!"
Yan Guizhi's joyful voice rang out beside her, and Sang Qian suddenly came back to her senses, hastily shifting her gaze from Jin Changyu's face to the sea.
My gaze lingered on the two wishing balls, one pink and one blue, floating together on the sea surface, and I couldn't look away for a long time...
Later that evening, the number of people at the open-air restaurant gradually decreased, and everyone went to the open-air bar to party.
The real excitement of the party comes in the latter half of the night.
Unfortunately, such a lively and celebratory occasion is not suitable for pregnant women.
"You guys go have fun, I'm going back to my room first."
She said this to Tang Yuehai and the other two.
"No, let them go. I'll stay here and chat with you while we admire the moon," Su Luoluo said, hugging her arm.
Knowing that she was worried about her being bored, Sang Qian smiled and said, "I'm really a little sleepy and want to go back to sleep. You go and play with them."
Su Luoluo glanced at the time; it was past ten o'clock.
"Okay, then I'll go back to your room with you first."
Sang Qian: "No need, I can go back by myself."
Su Luoluo was worried, "But..."
Jin Changyu said to Su Luoluo, "I'll go back with her."
Su Luoluo glanced at him, then looked at Sang Qian, "Okay, then you're in charge of getting the person safely back to their room."
"good."
Watching the group head towards the bar, Jin Changyu turned to Sang Qian and said, "Let's go."
Sang Qian wanted to say that she didn't need him to take her, but she knew without a doubt that his next words would be: "I'm worried about the baby's safety."
In the end, she didn't refuse and let him follow her back to her room.
Standing outside the door, she turned to the man behind her and said, "I'm safely in the room, you can leave now."
Jin Changyu looked at her and said, "I also want to go back to my room to rest early, so I won't go out to play anymore."
Sang Qian, "?"
"If you want to rest, just go. Why are you telling me?"
Jin Changyu glanced at the door behind her. "If you don't open the door, how am I supposed to get in?"
Sang Qian looked back at her room, then stared at him in astonishment. "You're not really planning to sleep in my room tonight, are you?"
"Didn't you already agree to let me sleep here?"
"I only did that to keep our relationship from being exposed to outsiders. Who actually agreed to it?"
Sang Qian looked at him and suddenly scoffed, "Besides, even if I allow you into my room, Jin Changyu, can you really stay there?"
He had the heart to ignore his sweetheart for a whole night, and didn't even try to comfort her during the night?
Jin Changyu's eyes showed confusion, "Why can't I stay?"
They even dressed her up.
Sang Qian took a step closer to him, looked up and stared directly into his eyes, "Then let me ask you, why did you come to this party tonight? And who did you come with?"
Jin Changyu felt a little guilty under her gaze and looked away. "It was Li Moyang who insisted that I come with him, so of course I came with him."
He dared not say that he had come with her, otherwise, he would have no chance of getting into the room tonight.
Oh.
Li Moyang is really unlucky; he has to be used as a shield for his relationship with his sweetheart.
Sang Qian was too lazy to expose her, and said coldly, "Then go sleep with your Li Moyang."
After saying that, she turned around and went to open her own door.
"..."
What is all this about?
What are two grown men like him sleeping with?
Jin Changyu's brow twitched. Seeing that she had opened the door, gone inside, and was about to close it, he quickly stuck his foot in to block the door.
"What are you doing?" Sang Qian glared at him.
"Listen to me..."
"Mr. Jin, Mrs. Jin."
A waiter came over dragging a suitcase.
Jin Changyu and Sang Qian both looked at the newcomer.
The waiter stopped in front of the two men and said with a smile, "Young Master Li asked me to bring President Jin's luggage to your room."
Sang Qian frowned, "..."
Is Li Moyang sick?
Does he really not know who Jin Changyu came for tonight?
Jin Changyu's brows relaxed, and he nodded politely to the waiter, "Thank you."
"You're welcome. Let me put your things in your room."
Jin Changyu immediately made way for him, saying, "Thank you for your trouble."
The waiter dragged the suitcase inside and saw Sang Qian still blocking the door. He smiled and said, "Mrs. Jin, I'll put Mr. Jin's luggage in and then leave."
It means—
Please make way.
Sang Qian pursed her lips, not daring to say anything in front of outsiders, and could only step aside to let him in.
The waiter had just gone in when someone followed him in.
They even brazenly pointed at the waiter and said, "Just put the box over there."
"OK."
The waiter put down the things, turned around and said to them, "Then I won't disturb your rest any longer. Have a wonderful night."
Jin Changyu: "Thank you."
Sang Qian forced a smile and watched the waiter leave.
After the waiter left and closed the door for them, her face instantly turned cold.
Looking at the man sitting on the sofa who seemed determined not to leave, she frowned. "Are you really planning to stay here tonight?"
Jin Changyu spread his hands, "My luggage has already been taken over. If you insist on kicking me out, I'll probably become the biggest joke on the cruise ship tomorrow."
Sang Qian pursed her lips and remained silent, looking at him with deep eyes.
Jin Changyu took the initiative to back down, "Can I sleep on the sofa?"
Sang Qian remained silent.
"According to our divorce agreement, you were obligated to help keep the news of the divorce a secret until the baby was born. You haven't forgotten that, have you?"
Sang Qian took a deep breath. "Remember what you said, you'll sleep on the sofa."
Jin Changyu nodded readily, "Okay."
