Chapter 320: I'll Take the Lead

Bai Xiaoshu practiced all night, and after absorbing the last bit of spiritual energy into her dantian, she opened her eyes.

After only one night of training here, her originally stagnant cultivation showed signs of a breakthrough! This is truly a blessed place.

She opened the window, looked at the blooming peach blossoms outside, and took a breath of the sweet air. She really wished she could live here forever.

After eating a delicious breakfast with a faint spiritual energy, Bai Xiaoshu planned to take a good walk around the garden. Yesterday, the time was too short and she didn’t have time to appreciate the scenery here.

As a result, the maid handed over a beautifully wrapped gift box: "Miss Bai, this is a gift prepared for you by our owner. You are welcome to visit our villa anytime in the future. This is a tour brochure of the villa, you can take a look."

A gift? Come and play anytime "later"? Bai Xiaoshu immediately understood the maid's hidden meaning. This was an order to leave.

In the box, there was not only a bottle of soul-restoring liquid that Shen Yizi had promised, but also a set of skin care products.

She originally said she wanted to buy a set, but now it seems that it is not necessary.

She closed the gift box and picked up the album to flip through it.

It introduces the scenery of the villa with pictures and texts, and also includes a detailed explanation of the tickets.

Only with a ticket can you enter the villa, and all kinds of consumption in the villa have to be paid for separately.

However, isn’t the ticket price a bit too expensive?

There are five types of tickets, divided according to star rating.

A one-star ticket costs 100 taels and allows you to stay in the villa for one day.

A two-star ticket costs 289 taels and allows you to stay in the villa for three days.

The three-star ticket costs 459 taels and is valid for five days.

A four-star ticket costs 888 taels and is good for ten days.

As well as the full moon ticket, you can enter the villa at any time, without time limit, and all consumption in the villa will be 20% off. However, this ticket is not sold to the public, but requires one of the following conditions to obtain:

Those with pure and kind hearts; those who possess merits; those whose skills are close to Taoism.

As for how to judge whether these conditions are met?

Those with pure and kind hearts are consistent inside and out. They have never done evil in their lives, never committed murder, and never had evil thoughts. Their hearts are like glass, unstained by dust.

The Tianjian Mirror hung on the gate of the villa can trace back a person's past, judge right and wrong, good and evil, and tell whether his heart is pure and kind just by looking in the mirror.

Whether a person has merits is not determined by humans, but by the laws of nature. Whether a person has merits cannot be seen with the naked eye. It also requires the help of the mirror of heaven.

If one has merits, the figure reflected in the mirror will radiate the golden light of morality. This is what is called the addition of merits, and it is obvious at a glance.

The third item needs to be checked in the Taoist pavilion outside the villa. If the Taoist bell rings, it means that the conditions are met.

The more Bai Xiaoshu looked down, the colder she felt.

Is she kindhearted? She believes she is not a bad person, but she is definitely not a pure good person either. This is a no-go.

Possessing merit? She was unsure, but it was very likely that she did not. How could merit be so easy to obtain? It was probably only those who spent their whole lives doing good deeds and helping others could be blessed with merit.

As for the last one, someone whose skills are close to the Tao, haha, if you ask what she is best at, it is nothing more than setting up formations.

Before coming here, she thought she had some talent in formation, but after coming here, she knew what it meant that "there are always people better than you".

Her level is not even that of a minor Chengdu, let alone "skills close to the Tao".

Therefore, she didn’t need to think about the full moon ticket.

You can only spend money and become a krypton gold player.

Bai Xiaoshu searched her pocket and found that she only had two hundred taels of silver left.

"Where can I buy this ticket?"

The maid was delighted: "I have it here. What kind do you want to buy?"

The owner of the manor said that for every ticket sold, the maid could get a 1% commission.

For example, if she sold a one-star ticket worth 100 taels, she could get one tael of silver! It was equivalent to getting half of her monthly salary for free! The maid took out a long and narrow box from her treasure bag, opened the lid, and the tickets were neatly placed inside like works of art.

The ticket is carved from emerald bamboo, one finger long and three fingers wide, a thin piece, clear and translucent like emerald jade, with a painting carved on it. The background is the entire Mingyue Villa, with a crescent moon hanging in the sky and a star next to it. On the right side are four cartoonish round characters "Mingyue Villa".

It was carved according to the font written by Shen Yizhi.

The back has Tianzhou Lake as the background, with lotus flowers and a red koi jumping out of the water. The picture is lifelike and interesting.

This koi carp is carved in the image of red brocade.

This is a one star ticket.

The only difference between other two-star, three-star and four-star tickets is the number of stars. The full moon ticket changes from a crescent moon to a full moon, without stars.

These exquisite bamboo plaques are all made by bamboo carving master Li Ke. Coupled with the fact that jade bamboo itself is very valuable, this ticket alone is worth a lot of money.

Bai Xiaoshu held it in her hand and played with it for a while.

"With this ticket, you can go to most places in the villa except for a few." The maid explained the details to Bai Xiaoshu, and then politely retreated.

Bai Xiaoshu suddenly remembered something and called the maid, "Please help me give this to your manor owner."

She handed the large melon seed she got from Zhao Zeyuan to the maid.

She didn't figure out what it was or what it was used for, so she simply gave it to Manor Master Shen. After all, if it weren't for her, she wouldn't have been able to get it. What's more, Manor Master Shen also gave her a bottle of Soul-Restoring Liquid.

Looking at the remaining one hundred taels in her hand, Bai Xiaoshu was a little worried. This amount of money might not be enough for a meal at the villa, right? She didn't expect that she would have a day to worry about money.

But at least I have bought myself a day. I have to write a letter back quickly to tell my family about the situation here.

The situation of other people in the villa is similar to Bai Xiaoshu's.

Almost all the money I had was spent on yesterday's auction.

But they hadn't stayed in the villa long enough, so they simply came to the Taoist pavilion outside the villa to try and see if they could get the full moon ticket.

The zither master Liu Jingran, the chess master Lin Bingyi, the calligraphy and painting master Pei Hao, the poet Xie Fang, the jade carving master Wen Daoming and others all came here.

If each circle is a pyramid, then they are the ones standing at the top of the pyramid. So they are still somewhat confident about getting a full moon ticket.

Only one person can enter the pavilion at a time, so who should go first? As everyone was humbly declining, Xie Fang came out and said, "Since everyone is afraid to be the first, let me be the first to experience the power of this bell."

What do you mean everyone is afraid to take the lead? Xie Fang's words offended most people.
