Chapter 217: Strolling around Bosozi Town
Ulucia-St. Fagus Island.
The sea breeze rolled up the clouds, leaving only the sunlight to fall, and the snow on the island was almost melted.
"Ms. Nerys!" Childish voices chattered in the open space in front of the Samson Tower. "What are we eating today? Can we have grilled fish? Uncle Fatty grilled the fish!"
Before the reddish-brown-haired woman could speak, the man outside the large iron gate shouted, "Ah, no, no! There are too many people. It will take too long to roast them."
Nerys smiled helplessly, lowered her eyes, and expertly coaxed the children, "Aunt Clover's grilled fish is the same."
"But……"
"Nerys." The fat boy suddenly interrupted the children seriously, "Let the children enter the tower."
Nerys looked puzzled as she turned to look at the little fat man who was no longer fat. He was holding the sword at his waist with vigilance.
She didn't doubt it, lowering her head and speaking, "Alright, everyone, go back to the tower first. Don't sneak out to look. Good children will get gravel candy for lunch."
Upon hearing this, the children excitedly rushed back to the tower.
When the last child disappeared from sight, Nerys walked towards the door.
Through the iron gate, following the little fat man's gaze, a tall woman approached and her face became clear.
The fat boy frowned, leaned his back against the iron gate, and asked in a low voice, "Nerys, do you think that person looks familiar?"
"Yeah." Nairis's face was solemn.
The woman stood five meters away from them, a faint smile in her eyes.
"Good morning, Nerys, little fat boy."
Nerys's face was filled with disbelief. She asked hesitantly, "Fei... Yi?"
──
The jade necklace lay quietly under the candlelight. The turbid aqua stone above the pendant was much less striking than the colorful beads next to it, and there was also a piece of blue cloth.
His red eyes stared at the four things without saying a word.
"Where's the Elf Stone?" [Vefiya] said nonchalantly.
Vifiya was stunned.
"Jiang Sui'an, are you planning to go to the Western Continent?"
Vifiya suppressed her surprise and nodded.
"You're wondering why I know this, right?" Why did she know it was an Elf Stone?
Vifiya did not deny it, nor did she ask proactively, just like after she realized that Vifiya had returned, she never asked Vifiya why she disappeared, where she went, and what she was doing during the days she was gone.
[Vefiya] chuckled: "Jiang Suian, you are getting better and better at playing dumb."
[Vefiya] said in a bored voice with indulgence: "If you ask me once in a while, I will tell you."
"You will lie." Vifiya said firmly.
The voice in my head paused for a moment.
"It's not a good feeling to be understood. I'm going to bed now. Do whatever you want. I won't keep an eye on you all the time."
In fact, Vifiya didn't care even if she stared at her.
Inside the bedroom, my mind fell into silence.
Vifiya stood up: "[Eyes], do you have anything to say?"
"Tick." A drop of sticky black liquid fell to the ground and disappeared.
A familiar female voice came: "Ms. Vifiya, if you can't open the giant screen, will you still persist?"
Vifiya glanced to the side: "I should say that my purpose is not to open the giant screen."
Her calm eyes gradually became playful: "You seem very sure that I will open the giant screen."
Vifia initially took the risk and agreed to let the [Eye] stay with her in order to deal with the false god.
"We've known each other for almost six years, right?"
"Yes," the [Eye] asked, "Are you evaluating whether I am worthy of complete trust?"
Vifiya did not answer.
Six years can change a lot. She is willing to give [Eyes] a certain degree of trust, but that doesn't mean she will trust it completely.
She still had doubts about [Eyes]. She admitted that [Eyes] had once stood with the false god and was a thorn in her heart, even though [Eyes] answered honestly the reason for standing there.
In other words, the timing of the appearance of [Eye] was too coincidental, and [Eye] happened to be associated with the false god from the very beginning.
For six years, [Eyes] would give her some advice at the right time, which was more like guidance than advice.
"You still don't know where you come from?" Vifiya asked back.
"yes."
The spring morning light fell on Sintron County. The little remaining ice and snow slowly melted, and people went out to clean the doorways of their homes.
Arnold sat upright opposite Vifia, with her suitcase at his feet.
He glanced at Vifiya, who had been looking at the map for a while, and asked, "Have you not decided on a place to stay yet?"
Vifiya placed the map in her hand flat on the table.
The room lit up, and Isidore, Kaharun, and Osha appeared simultaneously.
Isidore's eyes softened when they met Vifiya's: "Vifiya, good morning."
"Good morning, Vifiya!" Kaharun was very excited. He had been looking forward to it for a long time since he knew what Vifiya wanted to do.
"Good morning, Vifia." Osa took a few steps forward.
"Good morning." Vifiya looked up and responded.
Osa lowered her eyes to look at the map and asked, "Haven't you decided yet?"
This is unlike Vifiya in the past, who had not yet decided where to stay when she was about to leave.
"Yes." Vifiya waved her hand, signaling everyone to come over.
Isidore and his three companions saw two locations marked on the map: the city of Limon in Iskanar and the town of Posozi in Ulucia.
“Last night [the Eye] suddenly appeared and gave me advice on Limon City, and [Vefiya] suggested that I go to Bosozi Town.” Vefiya’s eyes were full of thought.
In fact, she would rather believe [Vifiya] than [Eyes]. She would not joke with her about such things, no matter what [Vifiya] based her conclusion on.
[Eyes]'s advice is also of reference value, but every time she follows [Eyes'] advice, Vifiya always has a vague feeling that she is walking into an inexplicable fate.
"Posozi Town."
"Posozi Town."
Osa and Arnold spoke at the same time.
Kaharun thought for a moment and said, "Isidore and I have been to both places, and I think the probability of success in Bosozi Town is greater."
Isidore nodded and looked at Vifia. "From a magician's perspective, the natural magic in Bosozi Town is stronger than that in Limon City. There are fewer people, but more people come and go, so it won't attract much attention."
Everyone said so, and Vifiya, who was originally in a state of confusion, quickly decided on the departure location.
She had already asked Mei to arrange a carriage, pretending to depart from the Marquis's Mansion to distract the eyes that were staring at her.
The light of the teleportation array in the Marquis Kesli Palace of the Segarot Empire disappeared, and five travelers appeared in the corner of the town of Bosozi in Ulucia.
“Huahuahua.”
The waves were rippling slightly, sparkling in the sunlight.
A head popped out from a huge rock on the seashore: "I haven't been here in years. The town of Posozi hasn't changed."
Osa looked curious as she stared at the sea ahead.
Vifiya turned around and said, "If you're curious, do you want to go over and take a look?"
Osa looked away and shook her head: "No, it's more important to do the work."
Kaharun stood up straight, glanced at Vifiya, then looked at Osha. "It won't take long to walk."
"Let's go." Vifiya took the lead and walked towards the beach.
Seeing this, Isidore and his three companions followed.
There were only a few people on the beach, and Vifiya and the others did not attract much attention.
The sea breeze blew through the hair of the five people. Vifiya slowed down her pace and saw Riosa take a few steps forward and stand beside her, keeping the same pace with her.
Kaharun and Arnold followed behind Osha and Vifia, carrying their suitcases respectively, along with Isidore.
Kaharun asked Arnold excitedly while he looked out to sea: "Isn't this your first time here too?"
Arnold glanced at him, his cold face rarely changing: "I saw him once before when I was wandering around."
"Sorry." Kaharun restrained his expression and apologized very quickly.
Osa, who heard the conversation between the two, turned around and said, "Kaharun, did you and Isidore come here before because of those things?"
Kaharun knew that the "things" she was talking about were regular anomalies, and he nodded: "Yes."
He remembered something and grinned, "It seems like it was when I was eleven years old. Isidore was still having his face rubbed by the aunties in town."
He still couldn't forget Isidore's expressionless face being rubbed red.
Isidore didn't want to speak, but seeing that Vifia's attention was drawn to him, he said, "Well, Kaharun fell five times."
Kaharun's eyes widened. "Isn't it only three times? No way! You actually remember it."
Isidore said nothing more.
Vifiya smiled. It seemed that the few words she said before leaving were still useful.
Later, Kaharun kept asking Isidore how he could remember it so clearly.
Osa looked up, her clear blue eyes reflecting the sky dotted with white clouds. Suddenly, she was inspired and said, "My teacher took me to see it once before, but..."
Osa rarely talked about the past, but when she did, Kaharun stopped making noise and her friends' attention was focused on her.
Osa smiled sheepishly. "You all know I used to be in poor health. My teacher took me to the southern coast of the empire to change my mood. But before we even started playing, I became seriously ill for almost five days straight. He was almost scared to death."
Vifiya glanced sideways and saw that Osha's face showed no sadness about her past physical condition. She smiled faintly.
There was nothing bad to mention about the past for Osa. Although her weak body had trapped her in many things, she had different memories accordingly.
While she was sick on the island, her body could not withstand the turbulence of the teleportation array, so she had to stay on the island to recuperate.
One night, she opened her eyes half-heartedly in pain. Hefa was still trying to figure out how to relieve her pain. She heard Hefa muttering, "You can't die! You have to live well. I've finally accepted a student. If I'm gone, how can I find another satisfactory one?"
When she woke up for several days in a row, she found many conchs and starfish at the head of her bed, as well as some strange aquatic products. Hefa said that since they were all there, she at least wanted to smell the seafood.
After this incident, Hefa never took her out casually again, but whenever he arrived at a new place, he would always bring her gifts.
Now in her private treasury at the Duke of Dordo’s Palace, half of it is gifts that Hefa brought her when she went out.
"Ah!" Kaharun scratched his head and suggested, "The weather is not good now. Let's wait until summer. We can come back in summer. It will be fun!"
Vifiya thought about it seriously and nodded: "It needs careful planning."
Isidore and Arnold remained silent as always and made no rebuttal.
Osa couldn't help but smile down.
The sea breeze was cool and the sun was slowly climbing up the sky.
The five people had had enough of the wind and headed to the hotel recommended by the locals.
When a group of people came in, Vifiya naturally raised her head and happened to meet the eyes of the person standing behind the counter. Vifiya was stunned.
An unexpected person.
