Chapter 229: Fear Outside the White Boundary
A white boundary suddenly appeared in the Leden Forest, and the fairies and elves rushed to deal with it. There were not many elves near the wooden house, and now only a few were left patrolling.
A teleportation array appeared silently in front of the wooden house.
Isidore looked up at the tightly closed wooden door. The location sensed by his soul resonance was right in front of him.
He was about to go forward, but something occurred to him, and he cast the cleansing magic on himself several times out of concern.
Even though his sense of smell was not very sensitive, he still sniffed himself, although he smelled nothing.
He walked forward, but before his hand touched the wooden door, he heard magical fluctuations coming from deep in the forest behind him.
He turned around suddenly, and the teleportation array under his feet was instantly cast, and he disappeared in front of the wooden house.
No one was more familiar with this magic than he was; it was his own power that he brought to bear on Vefia's sword.
The sun was hanging high in the sky, but its scorching light couldn't completely fall to the earth, and it was cool under the shade of the trees.
The elves and goblins surrounded the White World, saying they were dealing with it, but in fact they were preventing some desperate alien races from approaching the White World.
There are always some alien races who believe that if they can solve the problems that the major races have not been able to completely solve in more than five months, they will be rewarded with generous money, status, or something else.
Those alien races are also the idiots that Sonata least wants to see every time she deals with the White Realm.
There was a loud noise of clamor and fighting not far away. She knew without looking that another alien race was trying to break into the White World.
Last time, humans came out of the White World quickly enough that they were not found.
"Is she a little unlucky?" Sonata crossed her arms and frowned. She had never seen an alien race like Hongxue encounter Hongxue twice in just a few days.
Arianna stood by her side: "It's been a long time."
Sonata understood what she meant. Compared to the last time they came out of the red snow, it took humans longer.
Zatalan, who was also standing beside them, flapped her wings slowly and noticed a fairy flying towards her. She thought it was a fairy coming to report, but when she turned around, she saw it was Lunala.
She sighed, "Lunala, didn't I tell you to stay with the Prophet?"
Lunala's wings flapped rapidly: "I...I want to come over and take a look."
Sonata glanced down, and everyone could easily see the little elf's uneasiness.
Zatalan didn't expect that in just a few days, Lunala would like the human named Vifia so much.
Not very good at comforting fairies, she held it in for a long time, and only four dry words came out: "It will be fine."
"If necessary, I'll go in and take a look." It was Sonata who spoke, her hand on the hilt of the knife.
Lunala looked over in surprise. She stared for too long, and Sonata's expression became a little unnatural: "Why? I seem to be able to..."
"Bang!" A loud noise suddenly interrupted her words, and an elf was smashed in front of them, raising a cloud of dust.
Lunala was so frightened that she quickly hid behind Zatalan.
Sonata looked unhappy and raised her eyes.
The minotaur who tried to break into the white world clenched his fists and laughed loudly. He put his arm around the shoulder of another one-horned minotaur beside him and said in a rough voice: "I thought the elven knights that Big Brother was talking about were so powerful!"
"Big brother is just timid, you know that." The one-horned minotaur taunted.
Sonata stepped forward, pulled up the fallen elf with one hand, and stood directly in front of the minotaur.
There are always idiots who don't care about their lives.
The minotaur, who was in high spirits, saw another elf coming, so he pushed the one-horned minotaur away without saying a word and punched down with a gust of wind.
Sonata didn't dodge and reached out to take it without hesitation. The Minotaur was surprised for a moment and was about to say something when she turned and bent his wrist with a quick movement.
"Ah!" The Minotaur's cry of pain did not affect her. Before the Minotaur could react, she kicked his knee. When he squatted down weakly, she reached over his back, pulled out the scimitar from her waist, and pressed it against his neck.
The minotaur tried violently to free his hand from hers but stopped when he felt the coldness on his neck.
Sonata sneered: "You can't even beat me, and you still want to enter the White Realm? Have you prepared a grave for yourself in advance?"
The bull's head suddenly turned red.
Sonata didn't need to say anything, as other elven knights and fairies came up one after another and took over the intruders that Vifiya had already controlled.
She raised her eyes, and the corners of her eyes, which were naturally upturned, became even sharper. The one-horned minotaur shuddered and lost consciousness for a moment. His arms were already held up, and he began to struggle.
Sonata's ridicule was not out of contempt for alien races like the Minotaur who had no magic power. It was also his ability to use his fists alone to prevent the Elf Knight from catching him in a short period of time.
She squinted at the tree not far away and locked eyes with several aliens on it. In a direction Arianna and the others couldn't see, she silently uttered a word: "Get lost."
During the confrontation, she didn't look away until all the aliens retreated.
Every time she deals with Bai Jie, she sometimes needs to take personal action to deter them. Can't they be smarter themselves?
Ariana's gaze shifted from Sonata to the white boundary again, where people outside couldn't see what was happening inside.
Is there some trouble? Ariana wondered.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw a light from magic and familiar runes flowing. She knew at a glance that it was a teleportation array, and she subconsciously glanced over.
Then, she immediately realized that she did not sense any fluctuations in magical power.
She stood up straight, alert.
A young man with grass-green hair stepped out of the teleportation array silently with his back to them.
He seemed to be staring at the white world.
"Princess Sonata." Ariana's serious voice came into Sonata's ears.
Instinctively, she gripped the hilt of the knife and turned around, feeling that something was wrong.
A strange man was standing within the eight-meter distance that was originally set aside to prevent accidents such as the disappearance of the white boundary.
When did they come? She frowned, alertly thinking that the only way to appear in the encirclement was to use magic, but she did not sense the other party's use of magic.
She and Ariana looked at each other, her calm eyes were solemn, and years of tacit understanding made her understand what Ariana meant.
Ariana also did not sense the visitor's magic.
He didn't move for the time being, and Sonata didn't act rashly either. She observed the man carefully. From her direction, she could only see his side.
Are they the devils? The devils have human forms...
Her gaze shifted to his hair, which was the color of spring. Would those devils have such aesthetic taste?
The imperceptible magical fluctuations resembled those of a human. Sonata had a momentary suspicion that he was the companion of the human lady.
But……
His surroundings were so quiet that Sonata couldn't accurately judge whether he was a human or a devil?
Or did you come here simply for the White Realm?
The edge of the scimitar flashed between the leaves.
Unable to sense the magic, Ariana didn't move around. She glanced at the fairies beside her. Their expressions were a little strange, especially...
Lunala hid behind Zatalan, her face full of confusion and fear.
Fairies have always had sharp senses. She stared at the young man in front of her with his back to them. She had never seen such an individual before.
So strange, so strange...
His whole body was as quiet as an inconspicuous stone, without any ups and downs. Even the surface of the water would have waves, but he didn't. It was so quiet that it scared her.
"We can't get close, why can he!" The one-horned minotaur, who had already seen the young man appear, was indignant.
After the Minotaur was pushed away, he kept hesitating and looking for an opportunity, but he saw the current scene.
He was so close to seeing with his own eyes what the White Realm that killed his brother was!
He is unwilling to accept it!
If they were all driven away equally, the one-horned minotaur would not say anything, because everyone is the same.
But now only the young man was standing quietly on one side. The elves and goblins did not move. Their expressions already showed that he was not on the same side as them.
He stopped being pushed by the elven knight and struggled violently.
He didn't care why they were alert, he just wanted them to stop him immediately, and what happened had nothing to do with him! Otherwise, it would be like not stopping a young man, don't stop him!
"Why don't you stop him? He's still interested in the White Realm just like us!"
"Or do you want to let him in?"
"Why did you let him in? He's not an elf or a goblin, right?"
"you……"
His words stopped abruptly. The sharp ice spike was very close to the one-horned minotaur's throat. He broke out in a cold sweat. He didn't even see when the spike came!
Is that the elf from before?
He swallowed and said, "I say, if you don't want to stop him, then forget it, but you also want to..."
Two slender blades were placed directly at his neck.
The one-horned minotaur froze in an instant. He had no magic power, so he couldn't feel the magic, but he saw his neck. As long as he moved slightly, his neck would bleed.
Ariana and Sonata's eyelids twitched violently as they stared at the motionless stranger. They didn't sense anything, but Ariana saw a line of magic rushing to the one-horned minotaur at an extremely fast speed, and then transformed into a weapon at an unexpected speed.
He is very strong.
The scimitar in Sonata's hand was dimly covered with a faint white light.
Ariana circulated the magic power in her body and slowly condensed it in the palm of her hand. Among the fairies flying around her, the only one left was Lunala, who looked worried and scared.
Their magic could not be hidden from Isidore.
He was aware of the flow of all the magic in the forest at that moment, including the magic that belonged to him in the barrier in front of him, which was fleeting.
Vifiya was inside, he was sure, and he glanced to the side at the air.
Zatalan, who was hiding in the air, was shocked, and his emotionless eyes met hers. She was discovered.
Isidore didn't care how many people were standing around him or what their purpose was. The way to deal with them was simple. If they were enemies, he would just take action.
Of course, he would not take the initiative to do anything before they did. In case they had a good relationship with Vifiya, it would cause her trouble.
His gaze shifted towards the barrier in front of him. He was very familiar with the things that made up the barrier.
He is annoying.
Something that had tried to kill Vifiya, had tried to kill him many times.
World rules.
The calm silver eyes gradually become dangerous. Are the rules of the world ready to take action against her again?
The part of her soul that was accepted by the world that he placed in her could at least confuse the rules of the world, if not cover it up.
Could it be that the effect of the soul fragments has become smaller, or is it that they are still discovered despite the confusion?
Isidore was not sure. In fact, when he met Vifiya again at the Academy of Alsayin, he did not sense his soul in her, not ever.
It wasn't until five years ago when Vifiya fell into a coma and his soul fragments actively released magic that he was able to sense it.
He knew she was inside the barrier and he couldn't see her.
For some reason, his heart spasmed, urging him to move forward quickly.
He took a step forward, and the next second, Ariana quickly teleported herself in front of Isidore. She warned: "Please don't come any closer."
