Chapter 34, The New Transfer Student

Chapter 34, The New Transfer Student

This outrageous word was like a computer virus, lingering in Wen Hanyun's mind and seemingly etching a mark on Yan Sheng's head.

She dared not think any further, quickly scooped up a large spoonful of porridge, and then, under Yan Sheng's seemingly hesitant gaze, stuffed it into her mouth.

"hiss......"

Unsurprisingly, she was burned by the millet porridge that hadn't been cooled down.

She quickly swallowed the porridge, then glanced at Yansheng guiltily.

Sure enough, he immediately got up anxiously and walked to her, gently pinching her face with his hand, "Open your mouth."

She obediently opened her mouth, her eyes still glistening with tears.

Fortunately, the temperature wasn't particularly high; only the tip of the tongue was slightly red, and there was no injury.

Yan Sheng's eyes darkened, and his Adam's apple bobbed. "How could you be so stupid? Didn't you know to spit it out when it was hot?"

He took the bowl and spoon from her hand. "I'll blow on them to cool them down before you eat."

Wen Hanyun: "......"

It was confiscated?

She was wrong; he was not a virtuous husband and loving father at all.

.

The black sedan came to a smooth stop at the entrance of University A.

Yan Sheng unbuckled his seatbelt, got out of the car, opened the car door for Wen Hanyun, and naturally placed his palm over her head.

"Slower."

"I have some things to do at the company this morning, so I'll leave today's lesson to you alone, Teacher Wen."

Yan Sheng straightened her collar, which had been turned up at the back, and his gaze fell on the almost healed wound on her cheek. He asked, "Wait for me to pick you up at noon. What would you like to eat?"

"It will be all right."

Wen Hanyun looked up at him, her eyelashes fluttering in the sunlight like a pair of butterflies about to take flight.

"Then we'll talk about it after you finish class," Yan Sheng leaned down and patted the top of her head. "Go on, be careful."

Only after watching Wen Hanyun's figure disappear at the entrance of the teaching building did Yan Sheng instruct the driver to drive away.

The first class was a piano class. As soon as Wen Hanyun entered the classroom, she saw the department head and a young girl standing next to the podium.

"Ah Ling?"

The girl was wearing a simple white dress, with long, straight hair, and bright, expressive eyes. She was looking at her expectantly.

"Sister Wen, are you surprised?"

"Classmates, we have a transfer student in our class today. Let's welcome him/her."

The department head clapped his hands with a smile, signaling her to introduce herself.

The girl smiled slightly, "Hello everyone, my name is Qin Ling. I studied abroad before, majoring in pop singing. I hope you will all give me your guidance!"

As soon as she spoke, the students in the classroom, who had been busy with their own things and had their heads down, immediately looked up.

That voice, that aura, what a beauty!

"Ah Ling, why did you transfer to A University?" Wen Hanyun asked with a smile.

"Teacher Wen, of course it's so I can be with you!"

Qin Ling's eyes sparkled. "I was in such a hurry last time that I forgot to ask for your contact information."

"By the way, Grandpa said that Yansheng also teaches at this school. Why haven't I seen him?" Qin Ling asked.

"He had something to do this morning and won't be back at school until noon."

Qin Ling pursed her lips. It would be best if something happened. In her opinion, if Yan Sheng were at school, he would probably stick to Sister Wen every step of the way, and she wouldn't have any time to spend alone with her idol.

The students in the classroom watched the two of them together with curiosity and whispered among themselves.

The morning classes ended quickly, and several outgoing girls immediately surrounded her, asking her about her situation one after another.

After patiently answering, Qin Ling broke away from the crowd, took Wen Hanyun's hand, and said, "Sister Wen, let's go, I'll treat you to dinner."

"etc."

Wen Hanyun was pulled out before she could refuse; she had promised Yan Sheng she would wait for her after get off work...

"It's alright, Sister Wen. You can just call Yansheng to come along. I happen to have someone I'd like to invite him to."

Wen Hanyun reluctantly followed her and sent the address to Yansheng.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, Qin Ling led her to a private room. As soon as she opened the door, she saw a familiar figure.

“Mr. Willand?” Wen Hanyun was somewhat surprised.

“Miss Wen, it’s been a long time.” Willand smiled as always.

Qin Ling raised an eyebrow. "If it weren't for my influence, you wouldn't even be able to meet Sister Wen."

Willand smiled helplessly, his gaze falling on Wen Hanyun. "I came to deliver something to Yansheng. I heard you were at school today, so I asked Qin Ling to invite you out together."

Wen Hanyun nodded. "He replied to my message and will be there soon."

As soon as he finished speaking, Yan Sheng pushed open the door and walked into the private room.

"Han Yun." He walked to Wen Han Yun's side first, then nodded slightly to the other two as a greeting.

“Yan,” Willand took out an exquisite black gift box and handed it to Yan Sheng, “this is the limited edition album you asked me to find before. It contains the complete sheet music and three performance versions.”

"Just give it to her." Yan Sheng gestured for Wen Hanyun to take it.

Wen Hanyun reached out and took the gift box. Through the transparent plastic-sealed window, she could see a vinyl record and a sheet music book with gold foil stamping inside. The signature on it was actually her favorite Hopkins.

"You... also like this master?"

She looked at Yansheng with delight.

"Do you like it? It's yours."

Wen Hanyun paused for a moment, then shook her head. "This is far too valuable..."

"This was originally prepared for you." Yan Sheng smiled.

"Thank you, thank you so much."

Wen Hanyun gently stroked the sheet music with her fingers, a smile involuntarily spreading across her lips. She couldn't even remember discussing this hobby with anyone else, yet he had taken it to heart.

When she looked up, she found that Qin Ling and Weiland were both looking at her.

Willand shook his head, clicking his tongue repeatedly: "I'm really full from all this PDA between you two."

"Sigh, daughters really are a thing of the past. Miss Wen and I had made a promise to watch the stars and talk about our dreams together. How did she get snatched away by this scheming man?"

Wen Hanyun blushed. "Mr. Willand..."

"Don't listen to his nonsense," Yan Sheng quietly grasped Wen Hanyun's hand and gave him a disapproving glare. "You've delivered the gifts and told all the lies, so why are you still lingering here?"

Qin Ling made the decision to stand on the same side as Willand almost instantly.

“Don’t always monopolize Sister Wen. It’s just a limited edition album,” she said, taking Wen Hanyun’s other arm and pulling her to sit down next to her. “Sister Wen, just tell me what you like, and I can find it for you.”

"Ah Ling, you're so kind," Wen Hanyun said, patting the little girl's hand reassuringly. "Thank you in advance too. Sit down and have some dinner."

So the group kept putting food on Wen Hanyun's plate.

Wen Hanyun almost ate too much during the meal.
