Chapter 6 Qi Jing

Qin Wan had been the head of the household for many years and had never touched a servant. When she saw the maid's injuries, her eyes widened instantly. The four maids standing in the room were no longer sleepy and stared at the maid with sparkling eyes.

Zhenzhen spoke quickly: "Is there a commotion over at the other courtyard?"

Of course, that Bai guy is so shameless that he gave birth to a child with someone before getting married. Now he sees the Marquis having an affair with a little maid and even beats the maid. There will definitely be a fuss.

The maid shrank back timidly and nodded.

Qin Wan recalled that this incident did not happen in her previous life. That's right, she did not divorce in her previous life, but accepted Bai Wanyi on the spot. Naturally, there was no incident of Old Lady Lu drugging her.

Qin Wan felt a little sorry for having caused trouble for this girl, so she decided to make a decision for her: "What's your name?"

"My name is Qi Jing, and I am the youngest daughter of the Qi family in the other courtyard." Qi Jing replied.

Qin Wan thought carefully and asked, "Is your mother's name Yue Niang?"

Qi Jing's eyes lit up: "Madam, do you know my mother?"

Don’t you know that?

Qin Wan knew that Yue Niang was still worried because of her deceased father-in-law, the former Marquis of Pingyang.

He was a man of great character and basically accepted everyone who came to him, so there were many maids who wanted to climb into his bed. Yue Niang had wanted to climb into his bed too and she had done so, but for some reason she had angered the former Marquis of Pingyang, who had her banished to another courtyard.

Yue Niang was a family-born child, and her parents had a high status in the mansion. Not long after she arrived at the villa, she found someone to marry, and she has lived a stable life over the years.

In her previous life, Qin Wan had rarely been to the villa and didn’t know much about the Qi family, but Yue Niang’s family was very powerful.

Thinking of this, Qin Wan said to Zhen Zhen with a smile, "Help him up quickly. Your father and mother are both elders in the mansion, and your grandmother has worked hard for our family all her life. Now they all have to have some face in front of the old lady. You have suffered such a great injustice and I will give you an explanation."
