"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Are you okay?"
Judging from his voice, she probably hurt him by using too much force on her leg. She looked apologetic, but heard Gu Jisui gritting his teeth.
"Chen Yuan, did you do this on purpose?!"
Before she could react, Gu Jisui turned over and pressed her under him.
Shen Yuan's heart suddenly started beating fast with nervousness. "You, what are you doing?"
Gu Jisui was breathing heavily, looking at Shen Yuan under him with blurry eyes.
"The doctor told me not to sleep too deeply, but I can't do it. What should I do?"
Shen Yuan paused, "It's okay, you can... well."
Before she could finish her words, Gu Jisui lowered his head and kissed her. Shen Yuan struggled twice, but he lifted her hands above her head and held them down.
Gu Jisui's kiss became more and more intense, until Chen Yuan was almost out of breath, he let go of her and spoke in a hoarse voice.
"How about we both stay awake?"
After saying that, he kissed her again without giving her a chance to refuse. Gu Jisui didn't let her go until dawn.
Chen Yuan was held in his arms tiredly and hit him in annoyance.
"Beast, I'm still injured, how could you do this?"
Gu Jisui chuckled and kissed her on the forehead.
"Who told you to tease me first, huh?"
Chen Yuan was really speechless. She was so wronged.
"Go to sleep, it's still early." After Gu Jisui pulled the quilt to cover her, he reached out and turned off the desk lamp.
The next day, when Chen Yuan got up, Gu Jisui was no longer by her side. She got up, washed up, and just went downstairs when she received a call from Shi Yan.
"Manager, please come over here quickly. There's a critically ill pet in the store, and it seems like it's dying!"
Hearing this, Chen Yuan didn't even have time to eat breakfast and took a taxi to the pet shop.
On the way, her cell phone rang again, and the three words "Qin Mingyan" on the phone made her stunned for a moment.
After picking up the phone, Qin Mingyan's voice came from the other end, "I'm about to be discharged from the hospital, come and pick me up!"
Chen Yuan paused, not having time to think about what Qin Mingyan was up to. She hurriedly got out of the car and said to the phone, "I'm busy now. Please talk to Xu Wenlou."
After saying that, he hung up the phone without waiting for a response and ran to the pet shop.
